The surface morphology and roughness of a workpiece are crucial parameters in grinding *** prediction of these parameters is essential for maintaining the workpiece’s surface ***,the randomness of abrasive grain shapes and workpiece surface formation behaviors poses significant challenges,and accuracy in current physical mechanism-based predictive models is *** address this problem,by using the random plane method and accounting for the random morphology and distribution of abrasive grains,this paper proposes a novel method to model CBN grinding wheels and predict workpiece surface ***,a kinematic model of a single abrasive grain is developed to accurately capture the three-dimensional morphology of the grinding ***,by formulating an elastic deformation and formation model of the workpiece surface based on Hertz theory,the variation in grinding arc length at different grinding depths is ***,a predictive model for the surface morphology of the workpiece ground by a single abrasive grain is *** model integrates the normal distribution model of abrasive grain size and the spatial distribution model of abrasive grain positions,to elucidate how the circumferential and axial distribution of abrasive grains influences workpiece surface ***,by integrating the dynamic effective abrasive grain model,a predictive model for the surface morphology and roughness of the grinding wheel is *** examine the impact of changing the grit size of the grinding wheel and grinding depth on workpiece surface roughness,and to validate the accuracy of the model,experiments are *** indicate that the predicted three-dimensional morphology of the grinding wheel and workpiece surfaces closely matches the actual grinding wheel and ground workpiece surfaces,with surface roughness prediction deviations as small as 2.3%.

The machining surface integrity of aero-engine turbine disc slots has a significant impact on their fatigue life and service performance,and achieving efficiency and high-precision machining is still a great *** high machining requirements of future aeroengine turbine disc slots will be difficult to satisfy using the broaching *** addition,existing methods of slot machin-ing face difficulties in ensuring surface *** study explored a cup shaped electroplated Cubic Boron Nitride(CBN)abrasive wheel for profile grinding the turbine disc slots of FGH96 powder metallurgy *** matrix structure of the cup shaped abrasive wheel was designed and verified.A profile grinding experiment was conducted for fir-tree slots on a five-axis machining *** accuracy and the surface integrity were *** show that the key dimension detection results of the slots were within the allowable tolerance ***,an average sur-face roughness Ra of 0.55μm was achieved,the residual stress was compressive,the plastic defor-mation layer thickness was less than 5μm,and the hardening layer thickness was less than 20μ*** research findings provide a new approach to machining the slots of aviation engine turbine discs and guidance for the high-quality processing of complex components.

Background Many studies have shown the operative feasibility and safety of robotic *** are pursuing single-port(SP)surgery to leverage the advantages of minimally invasive *** purpose of this study was to describe technical considerations and short-term outcomes from the first reported SP robotic total gastrectomy(RTG)using the da Vinci SP *** A 75-year-old patient with a body-mass index of 19.8 kg/m^(2) and clinical stage III cancer(cT3NtM0)underwent SP RTG on 22 January 2022 at the Department of General Surgery,the Chinese PLA General *** procedures were performed successfully using the da Vinci SP robotic *** The SP RTG was successfully performed with D2 lymphadenectomy including No.10 lymph-nodes dissection and extracorporeal Roux-en-Y *** for subcutaneous emphysema,no severe adverse events occurred during the *** to a visual analogue scale(VAS),the subjective feeling of post-operative pain was given a VAS score of 3 of 10 on Post-Operative Day 1(POD 1),1 of 10 on POD 3,and 1 of 10 on POD *** removed the gastric tube on POD 2 and advised sipping water,a liquid diet,and a soft diet on PODs 2,4,and 6,*** patient was discharged without any complications on POD *** RTG is technically feasible and safe using the da Vinci SP robotic *** our knowledge,this is the first study using the da Vinci SP platform in RTG for advanced gastric cancer in elderly *** verify its superior operative outcomes,further clinical trials are needed.

BACKGROUND Lymphomas are the second most common malignancy of the head and *** this region,the vast majority of extranodal lymphomas are located in the palatine tonsil,accounting for about 51%.Tonsillar lymphomas are aggressive tumors with intermediate-or high-grade *** here report a case of primary non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma of the palatine tonsil and analyze its ultrasound *** SUMMARY A 40-year-old man presented with right palatine tonsil swelling for 2 mo after a cold,accompanied by dysphagia,snoring,and *** had no sore throat,fever,or history of upper respiratory tract infection or *** patient was generally in good health and denied other *** was diagnosed with acute tonsillitis initially and treated with antibiotics for 7 ***,there was no improvement with the *** biopsy and ultrasound-guided biopsy of the biggest lymph node of the right neck showed the typical pathology of non-Hodgkin *** Primary lymphoma of the tonsils is rare,and its diagnosis is ***-trasound is a useful modality in diagnosing oropharyngeal diseases,and can clearly show the features of this tumor,but the final diagnosis should be estab-lished by histology.

Preparation and Properties of High Hardness and Oxidation Resisting Coating Using Electric Arc Spray

A coating with high hardness, wear and oxidation resistance was prepared by electric arc spray. The hardness, bonding strength, abrasive wear and values of porosity and oxidation resistance of the coating were investigated. The microstructures and function of Cr3C2 of the coating were analyzed. The results showed surface Rockness Hardness HR30 reached 72.5 and average bond strength reached 49.1Mpa. Also porosity value was less than 2%. In addition, it was found from the comparison between the coating and 45CT coating that, oxidation resistance of the coating was less than that of 45CT, but the abrasive wear of the coating was obvious better than that of 45CT.

Characteristic fragmentation behavior of the analogs of endomorphin-2 with phenylglycine in position 3 or 4 by ESI-FT tandem mass spectrometry

A series of analogs of endomorphin-2 （EM-2） with phenylglycine （Phg） in position 3 or 4 were synthesized. In electrospray ionization Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance （ESI-Fr-ICR） MS/MS spectra of these compounds, some b, y, a, and internal ions were observed and slight mass differences between the calculated and observed results are obtained. Their sequences were derived successfully. However, the MS/MS patterns of these analogs with Dphg and Lphg were very similar. It is hard to distinguish them by MS/MS spectra. Moreover, if the third position was substituted by phenylglycine （L or D）, a rearrangement could occur in MS/MS experiment to lose proline residue.

Stem cell fate determination is one of the central questions in stem cell biology,and although its regulation has been studied at genomic and proteomic levels,a variety of biological activities in cells occur at the metabolic *** studies have established the metabolome during stem cell differentiation and have revealed the role of metabolites in stem cell fate *** metabolism is considered to play a biological regulatory role as an energy source,recent studies have suggested the nexus between metabolism and epigenetics because several metabolites function as cofactors and substrates in epigenetic mechanisms,including histone modification,DNA methylation,and ***,the epigenetic modification is sensitive to the dynamic metabolites and consequently leads to changes in *** nexus between metabolism and epigenetics proposes a novel stem cell-based therapeutic strategy through manipulating *** the present review,we summarize the possible nexus between metabolic and epigenetic regulation in stem cell fate determination,and discuss the potential preventive and therapeutic strategies via targeting metabolites.
