The alloy-type material Sb is widely used in the anode materials of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)due to its high theoretical specific ***,its serious volume expansion problem during alloying/dealloying of Li~+limits its practical *** this work,C-Sb composite was constructed as anode material of LIBs by electrospinning route for the first time,Sb was introduced into the polyacrylonitrile-based hard carbon and coal tar pitch-based soft carbon composite amorphous carbon fiber with a diameter of 300-600 nm,which realized high cycling *** C-Sb-2(the mass ratio of polyacrylonitrile to Sb source is 1:2)electrode displayed charge capacities of 1098.5,930.3,841.7,753.5,643.9 and 545.8 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1,0.2,0.3,0.5,1 and 2 A·g^(-1),*** when the current density returned to 0.1 A·g^(-1),the charge capacity was 939.3 mAh·g^(-1),revealing good stability and *** introduction of Sb into the amorphous carbon improved its conductivity and addressed the volume expansion issue of high specific capacity Sb during charge/***-situ XRD analysis confirmed the high reversibility of the C-Sb-2 during charging and *** functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed the gradual enhancement of the interface interaction between Sb_(x)Li_(y) and amorphous carbon(AMC)with increasing lithium content,contributing to the anchoring of alloy nanoparticles on the AMC surface and buffering the volume change of the ***,the gradual lithiation of Sb facilitated the electron transfer from Sb_(x)Li_(y) to *** findings hold promise for designing lithium storage materials with exceptional performance,highlighting the potential of C-Sb composites as anode materials for efficient next-generation lithium storage.

Photocatalytic hydrogen evolution coupled with organic oxidation holds great promise for converting solar energy into high-valueadded chemicals,but it is hampered by sluggish charge dynamics and limited redox ***,a porous S-doped carbon nitride(S-C_(3)N_(4−y))foam assembled from ultrathin nanosheets with rich nitrogen vacancies was synthesized using a molecular selfassembly *** S dopants and N vacancies synergistically adjusted the band structure,facilitating light absorption and enhancing the oxidation ***,the ultrathin nanosheets and porous structure provided more exposed active sites and facilitated mass and charge ***,S-C_(3)N_(4−y) foam exhibited enhanced photocatalytic activities for synchronous hydrogen evolution(4960μmol/(h·g))and benzylamine oxidation to N-benzylidenebenzylamine(4885μmol/(h·g))with high selectivity of>99%,which were approximately 17.6 and 72.9 times higher than those of bulk CN,*** photocatalytic coupling pairing reaction promotes the water splitting by consuming H2O2,thereby improving the hydrogen evolution efficiency and achieving the production of high value-added *** study provides an effective route for regulating the morphology and band structure of carbon nitride for synthesizing highly valuable chemicals.

The development of highly active and stable acidic water oxidation electrocatalysts is of great significant for promoting the industrial application of proton exchange membrane ***-based catalysts have broad application prospects in acidic water oxidation,but their limitations in stability and activity hinder their further ***,a nitrogen-doped carbon(NC)coated porous Ru/RuO_(2) heterojunctional hollow sphere(Ru/RuO_(2)/NC)is designed as high-active and stable bifunctional electrocatalyst for acidic oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).In synthesis,the key is to use mesoporous polydopamine spheres as a template for forming hollow spheres,a source of NC coating and a reducing agent for forming Ru/RuO_(2) *** Ru/RuO_(2) heterojunction adjusts the electronic structure of Ru active sites,optimizing the adsorption of intermediate ***,the NC coating and the interaction between NC and Ru/RuO_(2) effectively prevent Ru from over-oxidation and *** porous hollow structure provides more exposed active sites and promotes mass ***,Ru/RuO_(2)/NC exhibits outstanding OER and HER performance with low overpotentials of 211 and 32 mV at 10 mA·cm^(−2),respectively,and shows excellent *** acid water splitting electrolyzer,based on the bifunctional Ru/RuO_(2)/NC,requires low cell voltages of 1.46 and 1.76 V at 10 and 100 mA·cm^(−2),respectively,with good stability for over 100 h operation,surpassing Pt/C||RuO_(2) and most of the reported catalysts.

Lead-free double perovskite nanocrystals(NCs)have emerged as a promising candidate in the optical field,owing to their non-toxic,good moist heat and chemical ***,their poor optical properties limited their *** improve the optical properties of lead-free double perovskite NCs,metal ion doping or alloying had been suggested as a promising ***,we prepared monodisperse,uniformly sized,cubic morphology of Cs_(2)AgBiCl_(6)NCs with different Na^(+)incorporation amounts via a simple hot-injection *** Na^(+)incorporation broke the parity-forbidden transition by reducing the inversion symmetry of the electron wave function at the Ag site,which changed the parity of the self-trapped exciton wave function and thus allowed radiative *** a result,the photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of Na^(+)-alloyed Cs_(2)AgBiCl_(6)NCs(12.1%)was higher than that of Cs_(2)AgBiCl_(6)NCs(2.4%),and the exciton lifetime of Na^(+)-alloyed Cs_(2)AgBiCl_(6)NCs increased to 36.98 ns from 17.58 ns for Cs_(2)AgBiCl_(6)*** adjusting the amount of Na^(+)incorporation,the band gap of Cs_(2)AgBiCl_(6)NCs can be significantly tuned from~2.90 eV to~3.50 ***,the temperature-dependent photoluminescence spectra indicated that the Na^(+)-alloyed Cs_(2)AgBiCl_(6)NCs possessed higher longitudinal optical phonon energy and exciton binding energy compared to Cs_(2)AgBiCl_(6)*** suggested that there were strong exciton-phonon interactions during exciton recombination,a reduced probability of non-radiative processes,and excellent thermal *** offers a promising strategy for improving the optical properties of lead-free double perovskite NCs,and have the potential to replace traditional lead halide perovskite NCs in future optoelectronic applications.

The interface mechanism between catalyst and carbon substrate has been the focus of *** this paper,the FeCo alloy embedded N,S co-doped carbon substrate bifunctional catalyst(FeCo/S-NC)is obtained by a simple one-step pyrolysis *** experimental results and density functional theory(DFT)calculation show that the formation of FeCo alloy is conducive to promoting electron transfer,and the introduction of S atom can enhance the interaction between FeCo alloy and carbon substrate,thus inhibiting the migration and agglomeration of particles on the surface of carbon *** FeCo/SNC catalysts show outstanding performance for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER).FeCo/S-NC shows a high half-wave potential(E_(1/2)=0.8823 V)for ORR and a low overpotential at 10 mA cm^(-2)(E_(j=10)=299 mV)for *** addition,compared with Pt/C+RuO_(2) assembled Zn-air battery(ZAB),the FeCo/S-NC assembled ZAB exhibits a larger power density(198.8 mW cm^(-2)),a higher specific capacity(786.1 mA h g_(zn)~(-1)),and ultra-stable cycle *** results confirm that the optimized composition and the interfacial interaction between catalyst and carbon substrate synergistically enhance the electrochemical performance.

Developing highly-efficient bifunctional oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalysts is crucial for the widespread application of rechargeable Zn-air batteries(ZABs).Herein,an efficiency electrodeposition and pyrolytic strategy to synthesize the three-dimensional(3D)N-doped carbon coating multiple valence Co and MnO heterostructures supported on carbon cloth substrate(Co-MnO@NC/CC).It contains Co-Co,Co-N,and Co-O bonds,which synergistically enhance the oxygen reaction activity with *** exhibits a working potential of 1.473 V at 10 mA·cm^(−2)for OER and onset potential of 0.97 V for *** calculations demonstrate that the synergy between cobalt and manganese species could optimize the d-band center and reduce the energy barrier of Co-MnO@NC/CC for both OER and ORR ***,the MnO acts as the main OER active site could significantly optimize the energy barrier of O*→OOH*,thus further promoting the OER *** can be directly used as the air-cathode for both liquid-state and solid-state ZABs,which could afford a small voltage gap of 0.75 V at 10 mA·cm^(−2),a high power density of 172.5 mW·cm^(−2)and a long-term durability for 400 h,surpassing those of the Pt/C+RuO_(2)-based ***,the assembled batteries show potential applications in portable devices.

BACKGROUND No study has investigated the change regularity between age and subfoveal choroidal thickness(SFCT)in proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR).AIM To investigate the relationship between the SFCT and age in Chinese patients with *** This was a cross-sectional retrospective *** participants were hospitalized individuals with type 2 diabetes who underwent vitrectomy for *** eyes that met the criteria were included in the *** necessary laboratory tests were performed at the time of *** macular thickness(CMT)and SFCT were two quantitative assessments made using enhanced depth imaging optical coherence *** was measured automatically and SFCT was measured manually with digital calipers provided by the Heidelberg Eye Explorer *** The final analysis included a total of 234 individuals with *** average age was 55.60 years old±10.03 years old,and 57.69%of the population was *** analysis revealed a significant negative connection between age and SFCT in patients with PDR[β=-2.44,95%confidence interval(95%CI):-3.46 to-1.42;P<0.0001].In the fully adjusted model,the correlation between SFCT and age remained steady(β=-1.68,95%CI:-2.97 to-0.39;P=0.0117).Spline smoothing showed that the relationship between SFCT and age in patients with PDR was non-linear,with an inflection point at 54 years of *** Our findings suggest that age is a key determinant of choroidal *** non-linear link between SFCT and age in PDR patients should be taken into account.
