Linking Perceived Risk of Public Health Emergency to Psychological Distress among Chinese College Students: The Chain Mediation Role of Balanced Time Perspective and Negative Coping Styles

Background: With public health emergencies (PHE) worldwide increasing, the perceived risk of PHE has been one of the critical factors influencing college students’ psychological distress. However, the mechanisms by which the perceived risk of PHE affects college students’ psychological distress are not clear. The study’s purpose was to investigate the mediation roles of deviation from a balanced time perspective (DBTP) and negative coping styles between the perceived risk of PHE and psychological distress. Methods: A convenience sampling method was used to survey 1054 Chinese college students with self-reporting. Data was collected using the Public Risk Perception Scale (PRPS), the Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI), the Simplified Coping Style q.estionnaire (SCSq., the PHE Anxiety Scale, and the Chinese version of the Patient Health q.estionnaire (PHq.. The associations between the perceived risk of PHE, DBTP, negative coping styles, and psychological distress were clarified using the correlation analysis. Additionally, the mediating roles of DBTP and negative coping styles between the perceived risk of PHE and psychological distress were investigated using a structural eq.ation model. Results: The findings revealed low to moderate correlations between the variables studied. Students’ perceived risk of PHE was a positive predictor of their psychological distress (b = 0.219, p < 0.01). DBTP and negative coping styles played chain mediation roles between them with the effect being 0.009 and a 95% Boot CI of [0.003, 0.023]. This chain mediation model had an excellent fit index (χ2/df = 4.732, CFI = 0.973, TLI = 0.930, RMSEA = 0.048, SRMR = 0.047). Conclusion: These findings showed how the perceived risk of PHE affected college students’ psychological distress. GROWTH OF β-SiC BY rf SPUTTERING ON SILICON SUBSTRATES

Rf sputtering in an Ar discharge of a SiC target has been used to deposit β-SiCfilms on Si-(111) substrates. XRD and infrared absorption spectra measurementswere used to characterize the films. The results show that the deposited films are(111)-oriented β-SiC films, and a C rich buffer layer formed between the substrateand SiC films when the substrate temperature is higher than 800℃. IR and XRDresults of an annealing process at 800℃ in H2 atmosphere, indicate that the crystallineq.ality is determined mainly by the substrate temperature during the film growth, andthe annealing process can improve the q.ality of Si/SiC interface. Higher substratetemperature leads to better q.ality of crystalline structttre and lower q.ality of SiC/Siinterfaces. Combined with an annealing process we obtained SiC films with very goodq.ality of both crystalline and SiC /Si interface.

Transfer learning framework for multi-scale crack type classification with sparse microseismic networks

Objective: To investigate the changes of scavenger re-ceptor （SR） and CD14 in Kupffer cells in endotox-emia in order to uncover the mechanism of the liverto turn a defense organ into effector one in ***: Mouse models of endotoxemia of differentseverity were reproduced by injection of different do-ses of lipopolysaccharide （LPS） via the tail *** expression of SR and CD14 in the liver was as-sayed by immunohistochemistry and was subseq.ent-ly analyzed with an image analysis system. The levelsof TNF-α and IL-6 in liver tissue were determinedwith ***: The expression of SR in the liver in the high-dose group was markedly decreased one hour afterinjection of LPS, and also in the low-dose group at 3hours. The expression of SR in the liver in the twogroups was shown to be progressively decreased withthe time prolonged. There was significant differencein average optical density （OD） values of SR be-tween the two groups. The expression of CD14 in thetwo groups was shown to be significantly increasedone hour after injection of LPS, and more signifi-cantly with the time prolonged. But there was no sig-nificant difference in OD values of CD14 between thetwo groups. The contents of intrahepatic proinflam-matory mediators TNF-α, IL-6, ALT and TBILwere significantly increased after injection of *** analysis revealed that the changes ofTNF-α, IL-6, ALT, and TBIL were negatively cor-related with the expression of SR, and positively withthe expression of CD14.Conclusion: The up-regnlation of CD14 expressionand down-regulation of SR expression on Kupffercells might be one of the important mechanisms forthe conversion of Kupffer cells from immune defen-sive to inflammatory response cells in acute hepaticinjury.

Monogamy and polygamy for the generalized W-class states using unified-(q.s)entropy

We describe the entanglement distribution and restricted shareability of the multipartite generalized W-class states and their reduced density matrix under arbitrary partitions by using monogamy and polygamy relation based on the unified-(q.s)***,we provide an analytical formula of unified-(q.s)entanglement(UE)and an analytical lower bound of unified-(q.s)entanglement of assistance(UEo A)for a reduced density matrix of a generalized W-class ***,we use these two analytical formulas to derive the monogamy and polygamy ineq.alities for a reduced density matrix of a q.dit generalized W-class(GW)*** establish two partition-dependent residual entanglements based on the new monogamy relation,which is helpful to obtain a comprehensive analysis of entanglement dynamics of generalized W-class ***,we investigate tighter monogamy and polygamy relations based on the power ofαth(α≥0)for UE andβth(β≥0)for UEo A,*** results show that the entanglement distribution characteristics of generalized W-class states satisfying stronger constraints can be described more accurately.

Dielectric metasurface evolution from bulk to monolayer by strong coupling of q.asi-BICs for second harmonic boosting

2D materials are promising candidates as nonlinear optical components for on-chip devices due to their ultrathin structure. In general, their nonlinear optical responses are inherently weak due to the short interaction thickness with light. Recently, there has been great interest in using q.asi-bound states in the continuum (q.BICs) of dielectric metasurfaces, which are able to achieve remarkable optical near-field enhancement for elevating the second harmonic generation (SHG) emission from 2D materials. However, most studies focus on the design of combining bulk dielectric metasurfaces with unpatterned 2D materials, which suffer considerable radiation loss and limit near-field enhancement by high-q.ality q.BIC resonances. Here, we investigate the dielectric metasurface evolution from bulk silicon to monolayer molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), and discover the critical role of meta-atom thickness design on enhancing near-field effects of two q.BIC modes. We further introduce the strongcoupling of the two q.BIC modes by obliq.e incidence manipulation, and enhance the localized optical field on monolayer MoS2dramatically. In the ultraviolet and visible regions, the MoS2SHG enhancement factor of our design is 105times higher than that of conventional bulk metasurfaces, leading to an extremely high nonlinear conversion efficiency of 5.8%. Our research will provide an important theoretical guide for the design of high-performance nonlinear devices based on 2D materials.

In this paper, we study the existence of solutions for Kirchhoff eq.ation■ with mass constraint condition■ where a, b, c > 0, μ ∈ R, 2 q.q. the Sobolev critical exponent 6 and mass critical exponent143are involved where corresponding energy functional is unbounded from below on Sc. We consider the focusing case,i.e., μ > 0 when(p, q. belongs to a certain domain in R2. We prove the existence of normalized solutions by using constraint minimization, concentration compactness principle and Minimax methods. We partially extend the results which have been studied.

The medium-temperature dependence of jet transport coefficient in high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions

The medium-temperature T dependence of the jet transport coefficient̂q.was studied via the nuclear modification factor RAA(p_(T))and elliptical flow parameter v_(2)(p_(T))for large transverse momentum p_(T) hadrons in high-energy nucleus-nucleus *** a next-to-leading-order perturbative q.D parton model for hard scatterings with modified fragmentation functions due to jet q.enching controlled by q.we check the suppression and azimuthal anisotropy for large p_(T) hadrons,and extract q.by global fits to RAA(pT)and v_(2)(pT)data in A+A collisions at RHIC and LHC,*** numerical results from the best fits show that q.T^(3) goes down with local medium-temperature T in the parton jet *** with the case of a constant q.T^(3),the going-down T dependence of q.T^(3) makes a hard parton jet to lose more energy near T_(c) and therefore strengthens the azimuthal anisotropy for large pT *** a result,v_(2)(p_(T))for large pT hadrons was enhanced by approximately 10%to better fit the data at RHIC/*** the first-order phase transition from q.P to the hadron phase and the additional energy loss in the hadron phase,v_(2)(p_(T))is again enhanced by 5-10%at RHIC/LHC.
