Staged dendrite suppression for high safe and stable lithium-sulfur batteries

The unavoidable dendrite growth and shuttle effect have long been stranglehold challenges limiting the safety and practicality of lithium-sulfur ***,we propose a dual-action strategy to address the lithium dendrite issue in stages by constructing a multifunctional surface-negatively-charged nanodiamond layer with high ductility and robust puncture resistance on polypropylene （PP） *** uniformly loaded compact negative layer can not only significantly enhance electron transmission efficiency and promote uniform lithium deposition,but also reduce the formation of dendrite during early deposition *** importantly,under the strong puncture stress encountered during the deterioration of lithium dendrite growth under limiting current,the high ductility and robust puncture resistance（145.88 MPa） of as-obtained nanodiamond layer can effectively prevent short circuits caused by unavoidable lithium *** Li||Li symmetrical cells assembled with nanodiamond layer modified PP demonstrated a stable cycle of over 1000 h at 2 mA cm-2with a polarization voltage of only 29.3 ***,the negative charged layer serves as a physical barrier blocking lithium polysulfide ions,effectively mitigating capacity *** improved cells achieved a capacity decay of only 0.042%per cycle after 700 cycles at 3 C,demonstrating effective suppression of dendrite growth and capacity attenuation,showing promising prospect.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of Chaiqinchengqi decoction(CQCQD) on inositol requiring enzyme 1α(IRE1α) in alveolar macrophages(AMs)of the dog model of acute necrotising pancreatitis(ANP) induced by sodium ***: Fifteen beagle dogs were randomised into a control group,ANP group and CQCQD group(n = 5 per group). ANP was induced by a retrograde duct injection of 50 mg/kg of 5% sodium taurocholate. The dogs in the control group received injections of the same volume of saline as the sodium taurocholate. After the models were induced,the dogs in the CQCQD group were administered 10 m L/kg CQCQD every 2 h for 6 h. Two hours after the last administration of either CQCQD or saline,they were sacrificed by anaesthesia. AMs were collected to determine the IRE1α and Interleukin-1β(IL-1β)m RNA and protein expression,and pancreatic tissues were collected for histopathology ***: Compared with the ANP group,the m RNA and protein expression of IRE1α and the protein expression of IL-1β of AMs in the CQCQD group were significantly down-regulated,and the pancreatic histopathology score of the CQCQD group also was lower. There was no significant difference in the m RNA expression of IL-1β of AMs between the two ***: The CQCQD-induced down-regulation of the IL-1β protein expression may involve the down-regulation of the m RNA and protein expression of IRE1α in AMs.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the effect and the mechanism of Chaiqinchengqi decoction(CQCQD) on the apoptosis-necrosis switch of pancreatic acinar cells in acute necrotizing pancreatitis(ANP) in ***: Sixty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomized into the control group, the ANP group and the CQCQD group. The acute pancreatitis(AP)model was induced by intraperitoneal injections of4 g/kg 8% L-Arginine(PH 7.0) twice with a 1 h interval. Rats in the CQCQD group were intragastrically administered CQCQD(20 mL/kg every 2 h, 3 times,then 20 mL/kg every 6 h, 3 times). Rats were killed at the 6 and 24 h after the induction of *** pancreatic tissues were collected for pathology and to isolate pancreatic acinar cells and ***: CQCQD significantly ameliorated the severity of ANP by reducing the pancreatic histopathology score, indicated by lactate dehydrogenase levels at the 6 and 24 h. The CQCQD group promoted the apoptosis of pancreatic acinar cells by raising the apoptosis index compared with the ANP group and the control group. Mitochondrial cytochrome c at the 6 and 24 h in the ANP group were lower than that in the control group or the CQCQD group(0.67±0.13 vs 1.54±0.03 vs 0.81±0.09; 0.71±0.08 vs 1.55±0.09 vs 0.89±0.16, P0.05;0.97±0.09, P<0.05). CQCQD increased caspase-3 activity over the ANP group at the 6 ***: CQCQD can induce apoptosis and relieve the necrosis of pancreatic acinar cells via promoting the release of mitochondrial cytochrome c and increasing pancreatic caspase-3 activity in ANP rats.

Accurate knowledge of mesospheric winds and waves is essential for studying the dynamics and climate in the mesosphere and lower thermosphere(MLT)*** this study,we conduct a comparative analysis of the mesosphere tidal results obtained from two adjacent meteor radars at low latitudes in Kunming,China,from November 2013 to December *** two radars operate at different frequencies of 37.5 MHz and 53.1 MHz,***,overall good agreement is observed between the two radars in terms of horizontal winds and tide *** results show that the dominant tidal waves of the zonal and meridional winds are diurnal and semidiurnal ***,we conduct an exhaustive statistical analysis to compare the tidal amplitudes and vertical wavelengths recorded by the dual radar systems,which reveals a high degree of alignment in tidal *** investigation includes variances and covariances of tidal amplitudes,which demonstrate remarkable consistency across measurements from both *** finding highlights clear uniformity in the mesospheric tidal patterns observed at low latitudes by the two neighboring meteor *** of the comparative analysis specifically underscore the significant correlation in vertical wavelength measurements,validating the robustness of radar observations for tidal research.

Sporadic E(Es)layers in the ionosphere are characterized by intense plasma irregularities in the E region at altitudes of 90-130 *** they can significantly influence radio communications and navigation systems,accurate forecasting of Es layers is crucial for ensuring the precision and dependability of navigation satellite *** this study,we present Es predictions made by an empirical model and by a deep learning model,and analyze their differences comprehensively by comparing the model predictions to satellite RO measurements and ground-based ionosonde *** deep learning model exhibited significantly better performance,as indicated by its high coefficient of correlation(r=0.87)with RO observations and predictions,than did the empirical model(r=0.53).This study highlights the importance of integrating artificial intelligence technology into ionosphere modelling generally,and into predicting Es layer occurrences and characteristics,in particular.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the interaction between dispersed and elongated bubbles in horizontal slug flow utilizing the laser-induced fluorescence method. A Segmentation method based on the fuzzy C-mean (FCM) algorithm is proposed to effectively separate elongated bubbles from the liquid phase， and an extreme value extraction method is developed to calculate the number of dispersed bubbles in front of the nose of elongated bubbles. Moreover， the velocity offsets of elongated bubbles with and without dispersed bubbles are calculated separately based on contour extraction. In addition， the effect of dispersed bubbles on the fluctuating offsets of the nose tip position and velocity of elongated bubbles are statistically investigated under different flow velocities. The experimental results show that the increase of the gas-liquid flow velocity exacerbates the radial deviation of the nose tip and the fluctuation of axial velocity.

Maize kernel moisture content(KMC)at harvest greatly affects mechanical harvesting,transport and *** is correlated with kernel dehydration rate(KDR)before and after physiological *** and KDR are complex traits governed by multiple quantitative trait loci(QTL).Their genetic architecture is incompletely *** used a multiomics integration approach with an association panel to identify genes influencing KMC and KDR.A genome-wide association study using time-series KMC data from 7 to 70 days after pollination and their transformed KDR data revealed respectively 98and 279 loci significantly associated with KMC and ***-series transcriptome and proteome datasets were generated to construct KMC correlation networks,from which respectively 3111 and 759 module genes and proteins were identified as highly associated with *** multiomics analysis,several promising candidate genes for KMC and KDR,including Zm00001d047799 and Zm00001d035920,were *** mutant experiments showed that Zm00001d047799,a gene encoding heat shock 70 kDa protein 5,reduced KMC in the late stage of kernel *** study provides resources for the identification of candidate genes influencing maize KMC and KDR,shedding light on the genetic architecture of dynamic changes in maize KMC.

Objective:Dysfunction in fibroblast growth factor receptor(FGFR)signaling has been reported in diverse cancer types,including non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).The frequency of FGFR aberrations in Chinese NSCLC patients is therefore of great clinical ***:A total of 10,966 NSCLC patients whose tumor specimen and/or circulating cell-free DNA(cf DNA)underwent hybridization capture-based next-generation sequencing were ***'clinical characteristics and treatment histories were also ***:FGFR aberrations,including mutations,fusions,and gene amplifications,were detected in 1.9%(210/10,966)of the *** abnormalities were more frequently observed in lung squamous cell carcinomas(6.8%,65/954)than lung adenocarcinomas(1.3%,128/9,596).FGFR oncogenic mutations were identified in 19 patients(~0.17%),of which,68%were male lung squamous cell carcinoma *** out of the 19 patients(58%)had concurrent altered PI3 K signaling,thus highlighting a potential combination therapeutic strategy of dual-targeting FGFR and PI3 K signaling in such ***,FGFR fusions retaining the intact kinase domain were identified in 12 patients(0.11%),including 9 FGFR3-TACC3,1 FGFR2-INA,1 novel FGFR4-RAPGEFL1,and 1 novel fusion between the FGFR1 and SLC20 A25′-untranslated regions,which may have caused FGFR1 *** EGFR mutations or amplifications were observed in 6 patients,and 4 patients received anti-EGFR inhibitors,in whom FGFR fusions may have mediated resistance to anti-EGFR *** amplification was detected in 24 patients,with the majority being FGFR1 ***,FGFR oncogenic mutations,fusions,and gene amplifications were almost always mutually exclusive ***:We report the prevalence of FGFR anomalies in a large NSCLC population,including mutations,gene amplifications,and novel FGFR fusions.

In this paper， CdxZn1-xS thin films were deposited on glass substrates by chemical bath deposition （CBD），and the effects of different concentrations of ammonia water on the morphology， structure and optical properties of the films were studied. CdxZn1-xS thin films have hexagonal crystal structure， the transmittance is above 75% in the visible range， and the optical band gap is between 2.6 eV and 2.9 eV. The influence of the experimental group of deposited thin films on the performance parameters of the CIGS battery was studied by simulation with SCAPS-1D software and the cell efficiency reached 22.42%. It is introduced that the buffer layer prepared in this experiment is feasible in CIGS solar cells.
