In 1992, Cooper [2] has presented some new stability concepts for Runge-Kutta methods whichis based on two slightly different test problems, and obtained the algebraic conditions that guarantee newstability properties. In this paper, we extend these results to general linear methods and to more generalproblem class Kστ. The concepts of (k, p, q)-secondary stability and (k, p. q)-secondary stability are introduced, and the criteria of secondary algebraic stability are also established. The criteria relax algebraicstability conditions while retaining the virtues of a nonlinear test problem.

BACKGROUND Emerging studies indicate the critical involvement of microorganisms,such as Epstein-Barr virus(EBV),in the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).Immunosuppressive therapies for IBD can reactivate latent EBV,complicating the clinical course of ***,the clinical significance of EBV expression in B lymphocytes derived from IBD patients’intestinal tissues has not been explored in *** To explore the clinical significance of latent EBV infection in IBD *** Latent EBV infection was determined by double staining for EBV encoded RNA and CD20 in colon specimens of 43 IBD patients who underwent bowel *** on the staining results,the patients were divided into two groups,according to their latent EBV infection states-negative(n=33)and positive(n=10).Illness severity of IBD were assigned according to Crohn’s disease activity index(ulcerative colitis)and Mayo staging system(Crohn’s disease).The clinicpathological data were analyzed between the two different latent EBV groups and also between the mild-to-moderate and severe disease *** Systolic pressure(P=0.005),variety of disease(P=0.005),the severity of illness(P=0.002),and pre-op corticosteroids(P=0.025)were significantly different between the EBV-negative and EBV-positive *** pressure(P=0.001),variety of disease(P=0.000),pre-op corticosteroids(P=0.011)and EBV infection(P=0.003)were significantly different between the mild-to-moderate and severe disease *** IBD patients with latent EBV infection may manifest more severe *** is suggested that the role of EBV in IBD development should be further investigated,latent EBV infection in patients with serious IBD should be closely monitored,and therapeutic course should be optimized.

This paper presents a comprehensive account of the dissipaton-equation-of-motion （DEOM） theory for open quantum systems. This newly developed theory treats not only the quantum dissipative systems of primary interest, but also the hybrid enviromnent dynamics that are also experimentally measurable. Despite the fact that DEOM recovers the celebrated hierarchical-equations-of-motion （HEOM） formalism, these two approaches have some fundamental differences. To show these differ- ences, we also scrutinize the HEOM construction via its root at the influence functional path integral formalism. We conclude that many unique features of DEOM are beyond the reach of the HEOM framework. The new DEOM approach renders a statistical quasi-particle picture to account for the environment, which can be either bosonic or fermionic. The review covers the DEOM construction, the physical meanings of dynamical variables, the underlying theorems and dissipaton algebra, and recent numerical advancements for efficient DEOM evaluations of various problems. We also address the issue of high-order many-dissipaton truncations with respect to the invariance principle of quantum mechanics of SchrSdinger versus Heisenberg prescriptions. DEOM serves as a universal tool for characterizing of stationary and dynamic properties of system-and-bath interferences, as highlighted with its real-time evaluation of both linear and nonlinear current noise spectra of nonequilibrium electronic transport.

It is generally known that the culture for mycoplasma is time-consuming and a variety of nutrients are needed in the culture medium. This brings a lot of difficulties to mycoplasma research and application, including Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. capri（Mmc）. Furthermore, little research on the characteristics of Mmc metabolism has been reported. In this study, Mmc PG3 strain cultures were investigated for dynamic gene expression. Culture samples were harvested during logarithmic phase（PG3-1）, stationary phase（PG3-2）, decline phase（PG3-3） and late decline phase（PG3-4）. Twelve RNA samples（three replicates for each of the four growth stages considered） from these cultures were collected and sequenced. Paired comparison between consecutive growth phases in the four growth stages showed 45 significant differentially expressed genes（P〈0.01） were linked to PG3 metabolism. The enzymes these genes coded were mainly involved in ATP synthase, pyrimidine metabolism, nicotinate and nicotinamide metabolism, arginine and proline metabolism. Among these, cytidylate kinase, fructose 1,6-bisphosphate aldolases Class II, nicotinate-nucleotide adenylyltransferase and dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase play a key role in Mmc metabolism. These results provide a baseline to build our understanding of the metabolic pathway of Mmc.

Prevalence and characteristics of extended spectrum β-lactamase-producing Escherichia coli from bovine mastitis cases in China

The aim of the study was to investigate the prevalence and characterization of extended-spectrum β-lactamase （ESBL）- producing Escherichia coli isolated from bovine mastitis cases in China. ChromID ESBL agar was used to confirm ESBL-producing E. coli. PCR and DNA sequencing were employed to characterize the genotype of ESBL-producers. Antimicrobial susceptibility was measured by disc diffusion. Overall, 73 of 318 E. coli isolates （22.96％） were identified as ESBL-producers. Of these ESBL-producing E. coli, the prevalence of blaCTX-M and blaTEM-1 was 97.26 and 71.23％, respectively. The predominant CTX-M-type ESBL was CTX-M-15 （65.75％）, followed by CTX-M-14 （10.96％）, CTX-M-55 （9.59％）, CTX-M-64 （5.48％）, CTX-M-65 （4.11％） and CTX-M-3 （1.37％）. This study is the first report of CTX-M-64 and CTX-M-65 in E. coli isolated from bovine mastitis. Furthermore, 72 ESBL-producing E. coli isolates （98.63％） were found to be multidrug-resistance. This study noted high prevalence and rates of antimicrobial resistance of ESBL-producing E. coli isolates from bovine mastitis cases in China.
