One-Step Hydrothermal Synthesis of a CoTe@rGO Electrode Material for Supercapacitors

CoTe@reduced graphene oxide(CoTe@rGO)electrode materials for supercapacitors were prepared by a one-step hydrothermal method in this *** with that of pure CoTe,the electrochemical performance of CoTe@rGO was significantly *** results showed that the optimal CoTe@rGO electrode material has a remarkably high specific capacitance of 810.6 F/g at a current density of 1 A/*** 5 A/g,the synthesized material retained 77.2%of its initial capacitance even after 5000 charge/discharge cycles,thereby demonstrating good cycling ***,even at a high current density of 20 A/g,the composite electrode retained 79.0%of its specific capacitance at 1 A/g,thus confirming its excellent rate *** asymmetric supercapacitor(ASC)with a wider potential window and higher energy density was assembled by using 3 M KOH as the electrolyte,the CoTe@rGO electrode as the positive electrode,and active carbon as the negative *** operating voltage of the supercapacitor could be increased to 1.6 V,and its specific capacitance could reach 112.6 F/g at 1 A/*** specific capacitance retention rate of the fabricated supercapacitor after 5000 charge/discharge cycles at 5 A/g was 87.1%,which confirms its excellent cycling *** addition,the ASC revealed a high energy density of 40.04 W·h/kg at a power density of 799.91 W/kg and a high power density of 4004.93 W/kg at an energy density of 33.43 W·h/*** results collectively show that CoTe@rGO materials have broad application prospects.

The reduction behavior of iron ore powder by high-volatile coal was investigated,and its kinetic mechanism was *** effect of volatiles in coal on the reduction reaction of iron ore was compared by utilizing a Xinjiang lignite with a high volatile content and its pyrolysis carbon produced by high-temperature pyrolysis to remove volatiles,serving as a *** mass loss and gas composition of the samples during the reduction process were detected using thermo-gravimetric analysis and gas chromatography,and the morphological changes of iron ore powder were observed through scanning electron *** kinetic parameters of the iron oxide reduction reaction were calculated by the Flynn-Ozawa-Wall method,and the kinetic mechanism of volatile participation in the iron oxide reduction reaction was determined through the Coats-Redfern *** results indicate that the coupling effect between the high-volatile coal pyrolysis and reduction reactions occurs during the second stage of the entire coupling process,which corresponds to the late stage of coal pyrolysis with a substantial release of H_(2)and *** volatiles in coal actively participated in the reduction reaction,reducing the initiation temperature of the reaction by around 200℃.The reduction of iron oxides by high-volatile coal was jointly promoted by the"hydrogen cycle"and"carbon cycle",resulting in a higher reduction extent and metallization rate at the end of the *** high-volatile coal was used as the reductant,the average activation energy for the entire process was 76.5 kJ/mol,a significant decrease compared to the employment of pyrolysis carbon without volatiles as the reductant(1167 kJ/mol).

Background: Our previous study showed that overexpression of hepatocyte nuclear factor 4α(HNF4α) could directly promote mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs) to differentiate into hepatocyte-like cells. However, the efficiency of hepatic differentiation remains low. The purpose of our study was to establish an MSC cell line that overexpressed HNF4α and FOXA2 genes to obtain an increased hepatic differentiation efficiency and hepatocyte-like cells with more mature hepatocyte functions. Methods: Successful establishment of high-level HNF4α and FOXA2 co-overexpression in human induced hepatocyte-like cells(hi Hep cells) was verified by flow cytometry, immunofluorescence and RT-PCR. Measurements of albumin(ALB), urea, glucose, indocyanine green(ICG) uptake and release, cytochrome P450(CYP) activity and gene expression were used to analyze mature hepatic functions of hi Hep cells. Results: hi Hep cells efficiently express HNF4α and FOXA2 genes and proteins, exhibit typical epithelial morphology and acquire mature hepatocyte-like cell functions, including ALB secretion, urea production, ICG uptake and release, and glycogen storage. hi Hep cells can be activated by CYP inducers. The percentage of both ALB and α-1-antitrypsin(AAT)-positive cells was approximately 72.6%. The expression levels of hepatocyte-specific genes( ALB, AAT, and CYP1A1) and liver drug transport-related genes( ABCB1, ABCG2, and SLC22A18) in hi Hep cells were significantly higher than those in MSCs-Vector cells. The hi Hep cells did not form tumors after subcutaneous xenograft in BALB/c nude mice after 2 months. Conclusion: This study provides an accessible, feasible and efficient strategy to generate hi Hep cells from MSCs.

The electrochemical co-reduction of Ho(Ⅲ)and Mg(Ⅱ)ions was investigated on Mo electrode in eutectic LiCl–KCl salts at temperature of 773 K using various electrochemical *** voltammogram(CV)and square wave voltammogram exhibit three reduction peaks corresponding to the reduction of Ho(Ⅲ)on pre-deposited Mg electrode,whose potentials are more positive than that of Ho on Mo electrode because of the formation of Mg-Ho intermetallic compounds by co-reduction of Ho(Ⅲ)and Mg(Ⅱ)***,chronopotentiometry and open-circuit chronopotentiometry were used to explore the electrochemical formation of Mg–Ho ***–Ho alloys were produced by galvanostatic electrolysis at the current of 1.5 A for different electrolysis ***_(5)Mg_(24),HoMg_(2) and HoMg intermetallic compounds were acquired and characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)coupled with energy-dispersive spectroscopy(EDS).The results indicate that Mg–Ho intermetallic compounds,Ho_(5)Mg_(24),HoMg_(2) and HoMg,could be prepared by molten salts electrolysis.

Building pattern recognition is important for understanding urban forms,automating map generalization,and visualizing 3D city ***,current approaches based on object-independent methods have limitations in capturing all visually aware patterns due to the part-based nature of human ***,these approaches also suffer from inefficiencies when applying proximity graph *** address these limitations,we propose a framework that leverages multi-scale data and a knowledge graph,focusing on recognizing C-shaped building *** first employ a specialized knowledge graph to represent the relationships between buildings within and across various ***,we convert the rules for C-shaped pattern recognition and enhancement into query conditions,where the enhancement refers to using patterns recognized at one scale to enhance pattern recognition at other ***,rule-based reasoning is applied within the constructed knowledge graph to recognize and enrich C-shaped building *** verify the effectiveness of our method using multi-scale data with three levels of detail(LODs)collected from AMap,and our method achieves a higher recall rate of 26.4%for LOD1,20.0%for LOD2,and 9.1%for LOD3 compared to existing methods with similar ***,also achieve recognition efficiency improvements of 0.91,1.37,and 9.35 times,respectively.

The applications of hydrogels have expanded significantly due to their versatile,highly tunable properties and breakthroughs in biomaterial *** this review,we cover the major achievements and the potential of hydrogels in therapeutic applications,focusing primarily on two areas:emerging cell-based therapies and promising non-cell therapeutic *** the context of cell therapy,we discuss the capacity of hydrogels to overcome the existing translational challenges faced by mainstream cell therapy paradigms,provide a detailed discussion on the advantages and principal design considerations of hydrogels for boosting the efficacy of cell therapy,as well as list specific examples of their applications in different disease *** then explore the potential of hydrogels in drug delivery,physical intervention therapies,and other non-cell therapeutic areas(e.g.,bioadhesives,artificial tissues,and biosensors),emphasizing their utility beyond mere delivery ***,we complement our discussion on the latest progress and challenges in the clinical application of hydrogels and outline future research directions,particularly in terms of integration with advanced biomanufacturing *** review aims to present a comprehensive view and critical insights into the design and selection of hydrogels for both cell therapy and noncell therapies,tailored to meet the therapeutic requirements of diverse diseases and situations.

A Comprehensive Approach for the Clustering of Similar-Performance Cells for the Design of a Lithium-Ion Battery Module for Electric Vehicles

An energy-storage system comprised of lithium-ion battery modules is considered to be a core component of new energy vehicles,as it provides the main power source for the transmission ***,manufacturing defects in battery modules lead to variations in performance among the cells used in series or parallel *** variation results in incomplete charge and discharge of batteries and non-uniform temperature distribution,which further lead to reduction of cycle life and battery capacity over *** solve this problem,this work uses experimental and numerical methods to conduct a comprehensive investigation on the clustering of battery cells with similar performance in order to produce a battery module with improved electrochemical *** were first performed by dismantling battery modules for the measurement of performance *** kmeans clustering and support vector clustering(SVC)algorithms were then employed to produce battery modules composed of 12 cells *** verification of the results obtained from the clustering analysis was performed by measuring the temperature rise in the cells over a certain period,while air cooling was *** was found that the SVC-clustered battery module in Category 3 exhibited the best performance,with a maximum observed temperature of 32℃.By contrast,the maximum observed temperatures of the other battery modules were higher,at 40℃for Category 1(manufacturer),36℃for Category 2(manufacturer),and 35℃for Category 4(k-means-clustered battery module).
