Enhancing energy storage efficiency in lead-free dielectric ceramics through relaxor and lattice strain engineering

Dielectric capacitors with high power density and fast charge-discharge speed play an essential role in the development of pulsed power *** increased demands for miniaturization and practicality of pulsed power equipment also necessitate the development of dielectric materials that possess high energy density while maintaining ultrahigh efficiency(η).In particular,ultrahigh efficiency signifies minimal energy loss,which is essential for practical applications but challenging to effectively ***,we demonstrate a strategy of incorporating heterovalent elements into Ba(Zr_(0.1)Ti_(0.9))O_(3),which contributes to achieving relaxor ferroelectric ceramics and reducing lattice strain,thereby improving the comprehensive energy storage ***,optimal energy storage performance is attained in 0.85Ba(Zr_(0.1)Ti_(0.9))O_(3)-0.15Bi(Zn_(2/3)Ta_(1/3))O_(3)(BZT-0.15BiZnTa),with an ultrahighηof 97.37%at 440 kV/cm(an advanced level in the lead-free ceramics)and an excellent recoverable energy storage density(Wrec)of 3.74 J/cm^(3).Notably,the BZT-0.15BiZnTa ceramics also exhibit exceptional temperature stability,maintaining fluctuations in Wrec within∼10%andηconsistently exceeding 90% across the wide temperature range of−55℃ to 160℃,and under a high electric field of 250 kV/*** these features demonstrate that the relaxor and lattice strain engineering strategies have been successful in achieving high-performance lead-free ceramics,paving the way for designing high-efficiency dielectric capacitors with a wide temperature range.

Three-Component Transformation of CO_(2),Propargyl Alcohols and secondary Amines intoβ-Oxopropylcarbamates Promoted by a Noble Metal-Free Metal–Organic Framework Catalyst

The three-component reaction of CO_(2),propargyl alcohols,and secondary amines frequently applies noble metal or homogeneous catalysts,therefore it is necessary and important to seek a recyclable catalyst without noble metals for this reaction,despite the multitude of ***,a unique framework{[Ce3(Cu4I4)2(CNA)8(DMF)8](NO3)}n(CuCe-CNA)with two kinds of metal cluster nodes[Ce3]and[Cu4I4]was synthesized,displaying high thermal and chemical ***-CNA-300 was obtained by removing the coordinated DMF molecules with[Ce3]cluster at 300°C,in which more metal sites are exposed and the pores are enlarged,but the three-dimensional framework still remains ***-CNA-300 can effectively catalyze the three-component reaction of 2-methyl-3-butyn-2-alcohol,CO_(2),and pyrrolidine toβ-oxopropylcarbamates with a yield of 98%under mild conditions,and the catalytic activity is higher than those of noble metal ***,CuCe-CNA-300 exhibits high catalytic efficiency for various kinds of propargyl alcohols and secondary amines,and also shows good *** studies suggest that theα-alkylidene cyclic carbonates derived from the cycloaddition of propargyl alcohols and CO_(2) are the intermediates,which further react with secondary amines through ammonolysis reaction to generateβ-***,this work may open a new avenue for the one-pot transformation of CO_(2) with two or more components into value-added chemicals activated by noble metal-free metal–organic frameworks catalysts.

Hydrogel dress.ngs on neurotrophic keratitis in an experimental animal model

AIM:To investigate the therapeutic effects of hydrogel dress.ngs on neurotrophic keratitis in ***:Male Wistar rats,aged 42–56d,were randomly divided into control,experimental,and treatment groups,each consisting of five *** experimental and treatment groups underwent neurotrophic keratitis modeling in both *** successful modeling,biomedical hydrogels formed with polyvinyl alcohol and polyvinyl pyrrolidone were used in treatment group for *** irritation response and keratitis index scores,schirmer’s test,tear film break-up time(BUT),sodium fluorescein staining,and hematoxylin and eosin(HE)staining were used to evaluate the effectiveness of the ***:The neurotrophic keratitis model was successfully established in rats with severe ophthalmic nerve injury,characterized by keratitis,ocular irritation,reduced tear secretion measured by decreased BUT and schirmer test values,corneal epithelial loss,and disorganized collagen fibers in the stromal *** treatment with hydrogel dress.ngs,significant improvements were observed in keratitis scores and ocular irritation symptoms in model *** the recovery of tear secretion,as measured by the schirmer’s test,did not show statistical differences,BUT was significantly *** staining confirmed a reduction in the extent of corneal epithelial loss after *** staining revealed the restoration of the structural disorder in both the epithelial and stromal layers to a certain ***:Hydrogel dress.ng reduces ocular surface irritation,improves tear film stability,and promotes the repair and restoration of damaged epithelial cells by maintaining a moist and clean environment on the ocular surface in the rat model.

High frequency pulsating voltage injection method is a good candidate for detecting the initial rotor position of permanent magnet synchronous ***,traditional methods require a large number of filters,which leads to the deterioration of system stability and dynamic *** order to solve these problems,a new signal demodulation method is proposed in this *** proposed new method can directly obtain the amplitude of high-frequency current,thus eliminating the use of filters,improving system stability and dynamic performance and saving the work of adjusting filter *** addition,a new magnetic polarity detection method is proposed,which is robust to current measurement ***,experiments verify the effectiveness of the method.

Heat Transfer and Friction Characteristics of Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers with Different Channel structures for s-CO_(2) Power system

Printed circuit heat exchanger(PCHE)has been widely used in supercritical carbon dioxide(s-CO_(2))power systems because of its high heat transfer efficiency and good ***,due to the large variety of PCHE configurations,channel selection in practical applications lacks a ***,this paper discussed the heat transfer and friction characteristics and the synergy of three fields in the channel under the guidance of the field synergy principle for four typical PCHE ***,the comprehensive performance of four channels was ***,the heat transfer and friction factor correlations for s-CO_(2)in four channels were *** findings demonstrate that the synergy of velocity and pressure fields of the straight channel PCHE is better(β≈180°),so its resistance loss is relatively *** zigzag and sinusoidal wavy channels and the airfoil fins can reduce the angle a between the temperature gradient and velocity,thus enhancing the heat *** sinusoidal wavy channel can reduce flow resistance compared to the zigzag channel due to the rounded *** streamlined airfoil structure can guide the flow and reduce backflow,thus reducing resistance *** the range of Re studied in this paper,the maximum error of the proposed heat transfer and friction factor correlations of PCHE is 7.0%,which shows good fitting *** research in this paper can provide a reference for the selection and design of PCHE with different channel configurations.

Deep-red/near-infrared fluorescence is highly suitable for bioimaging owing to its ability to deeply penetrate tissues,organs,and live ***,developing organic fluorophores with high deep-red/near-infrared fluorescence quantum yield(Φ_(FL))and fluorescent brightness remain a significant challenge owing to the energy gap ***,we developed a straightforward and effective chalcogen-annulation strategy by introducing O,s and se into the bay region of TDI and QDI fluorophores,realizing the increase ofΦFLand fluorescent brightness up to 10 *** our best knowledge,this study potentially stands as the pioneering instance showcas.ng the anti-heavy-atom effect of chalcogens,and the absoluteΦFL(93%)and fluorescent brightness(128,200 cm^(-1)mol^(-1)L)of se-TDI is among top deep-red/near-infrared organic fluorophores currently *** femtosecond transient absorption(fs-TA)measurements show the absence of obvious changes of the excited state lifetime after the introduction of chalcogens in TDI and QDI fluorophores,indicating that intersystem cross.ng(IsC)can be neglected in TDI and QDI *** calculations further reveal the chalcogen-annulation strategy increase the radiative rates and reduce the reorganization energy of several accepting modes at the ground state in TDI fluorophores,leading to the suppression of internal conversion(IC)*** chalcogen-annulation strategy,which effectively increases the Φ_(FL)and restricts the IC processes,while remaining unaffected by the heavy-atom effect,offers novel insights and theoretical support for the design and synthesis of deep-red/near-infrared organic fluorophores with high Φ_(FL)and fluorescent brightness.

Visible-light photoredox-catalyzed carboxylation of aryl epoxides with CO_(2)

Herein, we report the first visible-light photoredox-catalyzed carboxylation of aryl epoxides with CO_(2)to synthesize hydroxy acid derivatives. A variety of valuable β-, γ-, δ-, ε–hydroxy acid derivatives are obtained in moderate to high yields under mild conditions. This protocol shows noteworthy functionalgroup compatibility, high chemo-and regioselectivities under transition-metal-free conditions with an inexpensive organo-dye as photosensitizer. Mechanistic studies indicate that the benzylic carbanion is generated as an intermediate via the sequential s.ngle electron transfer(ssET) process.

Molecular compositions and sources of organic aerosols at a rural site on the Guanzhong Plain,Northwest China:The importance of biomass burning

The concentration of PM_(2.5)has considerably reduced in recent years,but remains relatively high in *** particular,the increas.ng contribution of organic compounds to PM_(2.5)generates popular pressure for further reductions,resulting in an urgent need to study organic aerosol(OA).To investigate the molecular composition and source contribution of OA in the rural area of the Guanzhong Plain,Northwest China,PM_(2.5)samples were collected during 3–23 August 2016 and 5–20 January 2017 and studied for more than 100 organic tracer *** mean concentration of total measured organic compounds is 662±296 ng/m^(3)in summer and 3258±1925 ng/m^(3)in *** is the most abundant s.ngle compound found throughout the sampling period,which is a crucial tracer for biomass burning emissions,preliminary suggesting that biomass burning is an essential source of *** summer,organic compounds such as lipid compounds,sugar compounds,and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs),more come from higher plants,wood burning,vehicle exhausts,plastic waste,and other direct emission *** PAHs(OPAHs),nitrophenols,and phthalic acids more come from the atmosphere through the oxidation reaction of aromatic precursors,especially photochemical ***,in winter,most of the increases in concentrations of organic compounds are attributed to biomass *** analysis of a haze event(14–19 January 2017)during the winter sampling period shows that the increases in the concentration of organic compounds are unaccompanied by strong secondary formation under lower relative humidity(49.1%±13.5%).The main reason for the growth of OA in this haze event is the accumulation of primary OA(POA).The source apportionment by the positive matrix factorization(PMF)model shows that biomass burning(37.1%)is the primary source of OA in the rural regions of the Guanzhong Plain,especially in winter(40.6%).The contribution of secondary formation decreases from 26.0%in summer t
