Electrocatalytic reduction of CO_(2)(CO_(2)RR)to multi-electron(>2e–)products provides a green and sustainable route for producing fuels and *** the second metal element is a feasible strategy for"managing"the key intermediate on Cu-based materials to further improve the CO_(2)RR catalytic *** this work,palladium,which promises the generation of CO,was introduced into the poly(ionic liquid)-based copper hybrid(Cu@PIL)to construct a novel Cu-Pd bimetallic electrocatalyst(Cu@PIL@Pd).Remarkably,with a small dosage of palladium(2.0 mol%compared with Cu),a high faradaic efficiency(FE)for C_(2+)products(68.7%)was achieved at–1.01 V(with respect to the reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE),the same below)with a high partial current density of 178.3 mA cm^(-2).Meanwhile,high selectivity towards CH4(FE=42.5%)and corresponding partial current density of 172.8 mA cm^(-2)were obtained on the same catalyst at–1.24 V,signifying a significant potential-dependent *** studies reveal that both copper and palladium oxides are reduced to metallic states during the CO_(2)*** presence of the adjoint copper phase and the highly dispersed electrostatic layer promote the generation of CO on the palladium components(both the PdO_(2)phase and the Pd(II)site).Besides,the local CO^(*)was enriched by the significant diffusion resistance of CO in the PIL *** spillover of CO^(*)from Pd sites to the adjoint Cu sites,accompanied by the increased local concentration of CO^(*)around Cu sites,accounted for the observed good CO_(2)RR catalytic performance,especially the high C_(2+)product selectivity.

Enhanced recovery after surgery in elderly patients with non-small cell lung cancer who underwent video-assisted thoracic surgery

BACKGROUND This study was designed to investigate the clinical outcomes of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)in the perioperative period in elderly patients with nonsmall cell lung cancer(NSCLC).AIM To investigate the potential enhancement of video-assisted thoracic surgery(VATS)in postoperative recovery in elderly patients with *** We retrospectively analysed the clinical data of 85 elderly NSCLC patients who underwent ERAS(the ERAS group)and 327 elderly NSCLC patients who received routine care(the control group)after VATS at the Department of Thoracic Surgery of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital between May 2015 and April *** propensity score matching of baseline data,we analysed the postoperative stay,total hospital expenses,postoperative 48-h pain score,and postoperative complication rate for the 2 groups of patients who underwent lobectomy or sublobar *** After propensity score matching,ERAS significantly reduced the postoperative hospital stay(6.96±4.16 vs 8.48±4.18 d,P=0.001)and total hospital expenses(48875.27±18437.5 vs 55497.64±21168.63 CNY,P=0.014)and improved the satisfaction score(79.8±7.55 vs 77.35±7.72,P=0.029)relative to those for routine *** significant between-group difference was observed in postoperative 48-h pain score(4.68±1.69 vs 5.28±2.1,P=0.090)or postoperative complication rate(21.2%vs 27.1%,P=0.371).Subgroup analysis showed that ERAS significantly reduced the postoperative hospital stay and total hospital expenses and increased the satisfaction score of patients who underwent lobectomy but not of patients who underwent sublobar *** ERAS effectively reduced the postoperative hospital stay and total hospital expenses and improved the satisfaction score in the perioperative period for elderly NSCLC patients who underwent lobectomy but not for patients who underwent sublobar resection.

Objective:To construct the tissue engineering seed cell(HaCaT cell line) with stable expression of the human epidermal growth factor(EGF),and analyze the changes of its biological ***:PCDNA3.1-EGF eukaryotic expression vector was transferred into HaCaT cell,and G418 was utilized to select the HaCaT-EGF cell *** an inverted microscope,PCR,EliSA method to detect the changes of the cell morphology,the expression of the ECF gene and protein,and the mRNA expression levels of apoptosis related molecule Caspase-3,the cell cycle related protein cyclin ***:The mRNA expression levels of the obtained HaCaT-ECF cell were more than 100 times higher than the level of ordinary HaCaT *** colony of the HaCaT-EGF cells was more focused and tight compared to the empty vector transfected HaCaT cells and normal HaCaT *** expression levels of apoptotic factor Caspase-3 and cyclin Dt in HaCaT-EGF cell were significantly higher than those in the empty vector HaCaT- pcDNA3.1 cell,and the differences were statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusions: HaCaT-EGF cell can continuously secrete ECF,and the biological characteristic is *** can be used for tissue engineering experiment and is an ideal seed cell for constructing tissue engineered skin.

The influence of brazing temperature and brazing time on the microstructure and shear strength ofγ-TiAl/GH536 joints brazed with Ti-Zr-Cu-Ni-Fe-Co-Mo filler was investigated using SEM,EDS,XRD and universal testing *** show that all the brazed joints mainly consist of four reaction layers regardless of the brazing temperature and brazing *** thickness of the brazed seam and the average shear strength of the joint increase firstly and then decrease with brazing temperature in the range of 1090-1170℃and brazing time varying from 0 to 20 *** maximum shear strength of 262 MPa is obtained at 1150℃for 10 *** brittle Al3NiTi2 and TiNi3 intermetallics are the main controlling factors for the crack generation and deterioration of joint *** fracture surface is characterized as typical cleavage fracture and it mainly consists of massive brittle Al3NiTi2 intermetallics.

Ti-47Al-2Nb-2Cr-0.15B(mole fraction,%)alloy was vacuum brazed with amorphous and crystalline Ti.25Zr-12.5Cu-12.5Ni-3.0Co-2.0Mo(mass fraction,%)filler alloys,and the melting,spreading and gap filling behaviors of the amorphous and crystalline filler alloys as well as the joints brazed with them were investigated in *** showed that the amorphous filler alloy possessed narrower melting temperature interval,lower liquidus temperature and melting active energy compared with the crystalline filler alloy,and it also exhibited better brazeability on the surface of the Ti.47Al.2Nb.2Cr.0.15B *** TiAl joints brazed with crystalline and amorphous filler alloys were composed of two interfacial reaction layers and a central brazed *** the same conditions,the tensile strength of the joint brazed with the amorphous filler alloy was always higher than that with the crystalline filler *** maxmium tensile strength of the joint brazed at 1273 K with the amorphous filler alloy reached 254 MPa.

PC-407 inhibited proliferation and induced apoptosis in human colon cancer SW-1116 cells

AIM: To study whether PC-407 [4-[5-naphthyl-3- (trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl] benzenesulfonamide] inhibits cell viability and induces apoptosis in human colon cancer SW-1116 cells. METHODS: Inhibition of SW-1116 proliferation was measured by MTT assay. Morphological assessment of apoptosis was performed with fluorescence microscope and electron microscope. DNA fragmentation was visualized by agarose gel electrophoresis. The amount of apoptotic cells was measured by flow cytometry. RESULTS: PC-407 inhibited SW-1116 cell proliferation in a concentration-dependent manner after 3 d of treatment, and the IC50 for PC-407 inhibition of cell number was 16.67±0.17 μmol/L. After incubation of SW-1116 cells with PC-407 20 μmol/L for 24 h, morphological changes of typical apoptosis were observed by AO/EB staining or transmission electron microscopy. Safety and Efficacy of Low Dosage of Urokinase for Catheter-directed Thrombolysis of Deep Venous Thrombosis

Background： Catheter-directed thrombolysis （CDT） has been a mainstay in treating deep venous thrombosis （DVT）. However, the optimal dosage ofa thrombolytic agent is still controversial. The goal of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of low dosage urokinase with CDT for DVT. Methods： A retrospective analysis was perfornaed using data from a total of 427 patients with DVT treated with CDT in our single center between July 2009 and December 2012. Early efficacy of thrombolysis was assessed with a thrombus score based on daily venography. The therapeutic safety was evahmted by adverse events. A venography or duplex ultrasound was performed to assess the outcome at 6 months, 1 year and 2 years postoperatively. Results： The mean total dose of 3.34 （standard deviation [SD] 1.38） million units of urokinase was administered during a mean of 5.18 （SD 2.28） days. Prior to discharge, Grade Ⅲ （complete lysis） was achieved in 154 （36%） patients; Grade II （50-99% lysis） in 222 （52%）： and Grade I （50%~ lysis） in 51 （12%）. The major complications included one intracranial hemorrhage, one henaatochezia, five gross hematuria, and one pulmonary embolism. Moreover, no death occurred in the study. Conclusions： Treatment of low-dose catheter-directed thrombosis is an efficacious and safe therapeutic approach in patients with DVT offering good long-term outcomes and minimal complications.

The canonical transient receptor potential channel(TRPC)proteins form Ca^(2+)-permeable cation channels that are involved in various heart ***,the roles of specific TRPC proteins in myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)injury remain poorly *** observed that TRPC1 and TRPC6 were highly expressed in the area at risk(AAR)in a coronary artery ligation induced I/R ***1/mice exhibited improved cardiac function,lower serum Troponin T and serum creatine kinase level,smaller infarct volume,less fibrotic scars,and fewer apoptotic cells after myocardial-I/R than wild-type or Trpc6/***-specific knockdown of Trpc1 using adeno-associated virus 9 mitigated myocardial I/R ***,Trpc1 deficiency protected adult mouse ventricular myocytes(AMVMs)and HL-1 cells from death during hypoxia/reoxygenation(H/R)***-sequencing-based transcriptome analysis revealed differential expression of genes related to reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation in Trpc1/*** these genes,oxoglutarate dehydrogenase-like(Ogdhl)was markedly ***,Trpc1 deficiency impaired the calcineurin(CaN)/nuclear factorkappa B(NF-kB)signaling pathway in *** of this pathway inhibited Ogdhl upregulation and ROS generation in HL-1 cells under H/R *** immunoprecipitation assays confirmed NF-kB binding to the Ogdhl *** cardioprotective effect of Trpc1 deficiency was canceled out by overexpression of NF-kB and Ogdhl in *** conclusion,our findings reveal that TRPC1 is upregulated in the AAR following myocardial I/R,leading to increased Ca^(2+) influx into associated ***,this upregulates Ogdhl expression through the CaN/NF-kB signaling pathway,ultimately exacerbating ROS production and aggravating myocardial I/R injury.
