Ultrathin plasmonic nanostructures offer an unparalleled opportunity for the study of light–matter interactions at the nanoscale and realization of compact nanophotonic *** this study,we introduce an ultrathin gold nanoribbon array and demonstrate an electric approach to actively tuning its plasmonic resonance,which leveraging the extreme light confinement capability in the ultrathin plasmonic nanostructure and a robust nanoscale electro-optical effect in indium tin *** the design(to a total thickness as small as 12 nm for a 2-nmthick gold nanoribbon array),we numerically demonstrate a spectral shift in the plasmonic resonance up to 36 nm along with an approximately 16%change in the transmission at a gate voltage below 1.7 V at the wavelength of1.47μ*** work presents progress towards electric tuning of plasmonic resonances in ultrathin metallic nanostructures for various applications including surface-enhanced spectroscopy,spontaneous emission enhancement,and optical modulation.

In this paper,we discuss the related properties of some particular derivations in semihoops and give some characterizations of ***,we prove that every Heyting algebra is isomorphic to the algebra of all multiplicative derivations and show that every Boolean algebra is isomorphic to the algebra of all implicative ***,we show that the sets of multiplicative and implicative derivations on bounded regular idempotent semihoops are in oneto-one correspondence.

Calcium-ion batteries have been considered attractive candidates for largescale energy storage applications due to their natural abundance and low redox potential of Ca2+/Ca. However, current calcium ion technology is still hampered by the lack of high-capacity and long-life electrode materials to accommodate the large Ca2+（1.00?）. Herein, an amorphous vanadium structure induced by Mo doping and in-situ electrochemical activation is reported as a high-rate anode material for calcium ion batteries. The doping of Mo could destroy the lattice stability of VS4material, enhancing the flexibility of the structure. The following electrochemical activation further converted the material into sulfide and oxides co-dominated composite （defined as MoVSO）, which serves as an active material for the storage of Ca2+during cycling. Consequently, this amorphous vanadium structure exhibits excellent rate capability, achieving discharge capacities of 306.7 and 149.2 mAh g-1at5 and 50 A g-1and an ultra-long cycle life of 2000 cycles with 91.2%capacity retention. These values represent the highest level to date reported for calcium ion batteries. The mechanism studies show that the material undergoes a partial phase transition process to derive MoVSO. This work unveiled the calcium storage mechanism of vanadium sulfide in aqueous electrolytes and accelerated the development of high-performance aqueous calcium ion batteries.

Background:The aim of this study is to investigate the mechanism of action underlying the therapeutic effects of the national patent Chinese medicine compound“Qiangxinhuoli prescription(QXHLF)”on chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods:In vitro,the H_(9)C_(2) cell model was induced by ANGII,and cell proliferation and related protein expression were detected by Cell Counting Kit-8 and Western *** vivo,A rat model of CHF was prepared by ligation of the left anterior descending coronary *** effects of QXHLF on cardiac function in CHF rats were evaluated by cardiac index,hemodynamic changes,enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,hematoxylin-eosin staining,immunohistochemistry,Western blot and *** expression of pro-apoptotic factors and anti-apoptotic factors,as well as TGFβ1,p-p38,TAK 1 mRNA,and protein,were ***:In vitro,QXHLF has a significant inhibitory effect on the proliferation of H_(9)C_(2) *** can reduce the expression levels of TAK 1,TGFβ1,p-p38,Caspase3 and BAX proteins in H_(9)C_(2) cells,and increase the expression level of BCL_(2) *** vivo,QXHLF has the potential to increase left ventricular systolic pressure,m aximum rate of change in left ventricular pressure while decreasing left ventricular end diastolic pressure,and inhibiting the serum levels of brain natriuretic ***,QXHLF exhibits significant improvements in the pathological alterations of myocardial cells and fibers in CHF rats,leading to enhanced myocardial tissue morphology and notable advantages in combating myocardial *** can reduce the levels of BAX and Caspase3 and up-regulate the expression of BCL_(2),thereby inhibiting cardiomyocyte ***,QXHLF demonstrates inhibitory effects on the mRNA and protein expression levels of TGFβ_(1),TAK_(1),and p-p38 in the heart tissue of the CHF rat ***:These findings indicate that QXHLF has a therapeutic effect on CHF by inhibiting the p38-MAPK signaling pathway,reducing m

In the competitive energy market,energy retailers are facing the uncertainties of both energy price and demand,which requires them to formulate reasonable energy purchasing and selling strategies for improving their competitiveness in this ***,the attractive multi-energy retail packages are the key for retailers to increase their ***,combined with incentive means and price signals,five types of multi-energy retail packages such as peak-valley time-of-use(TOU)price package and day-night bundled price package are designed in this paper for *** iterative interactions between retailers and end-users are modeled using a bi-level model of stochastic optimization based on multi-leader multi-follower(MLMF)Stackelberg game,in which retailers are leaders and end-users are *** make decisions to maximize the profit considering the conditional value at risk(CVaR)while end-users optimize the satisfaction of both energy comfort and ***,a distributed algorithm is proposed to obtain the Nash equilibrium of above MLMF Stackelberg game model while the particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm and CPLEX solver are applied to solve the optimization model for each participant(retailer or end-user).Numeral results show that the designed retail packages can increase the overall profit of retailers,and the overall satisfaction of industrial users is the highest while that of residential users is the lowest after game interaction.

The stability and mobility of proppant packs in hydraulic fractures during hydrocarbon production are numerically investigated by the lattice Boltzmann-discrete element coupling method(LB-DEM).This study starts with a preliminary proppant settling test,from which a solid volume fraction of 0.575 is calibrated for the proppant pack in the *** the established workflow to investigate proppant flowback,a displacement is applied to the fracture surfaces to compact the generated proppant pack as well as further mimicking proppant embedment under closure *** a pressure gradient is applied to drive the fluid-particle flow,a critical aperture-to-diameter ratio of 4 is observed,above which the proppant pack would *** results also show that the volumetric proppant flowback rate increases quadratically with the fracture aperture,while a linear variation between the particle flux and the pressure gradient is exhibited for a fixed fracture *** research outcome contributes towards an improved understanding of proppant flowback in hydraulic fractures,which also supports an optimised proppant size selection for hydraulic fracturing operations.
