Inherent relationship between process parameters,crystallization and mechanical properties of continuous carbon fiber reinforced PEEK composites

High-performance thermoplastic composites have been developed as significant structural materials for cutting-edge equipment in the aerospace and defence ***,the internal mechanism of processing parameters on mechanical properties in the manufacturing process of thermoplastic composite structures is still a serious *** purpose of this study is to investigate the process/crystallization/property relationships for continuous carbon fiber(CF)reinforced polyether-ether-ketone(PEEK)*** composite laminates are fabricated according to orthogonal experiments via the thermoforming *** mechanical performance is investigated in terms of crystallization properties and fracture morphology *** results show that the mechanical performance and crystallization properties of thermoplastic composites are significantly affected by the coupling of processing *** increased molding temperature,pressure,and holding time improve the degree of fiber/matrix infiltration and affect the crystallinity and crystalline morphology of the matrix,which further influences the mechanical properties of the *** is reflected in the test results that crystallinity has an approximately linear effect on mode-I interlaminar fracture toughness and transverse flexural *** well as the higher molding temperature can destroy the pre-existent crystals to improve the toughness of the matrix,and the well-defined crystalline structures can be observed when fabricated at higher temperatures and longer periods of holding time.

Microstructure Characteristic and Electrochemical Corrosion Behavior of Surface Nano-crystallization Modified Carbon Steel

The surface nano-crystallization （SNC） of carbon steel was achieved via a high-speed rotating wire-brush- ing process. Microstructure characteristics of SNC steel were systematically studied. The SNC steel surface exhibited marked deformed plastic flows and high surface roughness. Due to the accumulated strains, a deformed gradient lay er with thickness of 40-50 μm was produced, and the grain size of the topmost zone was about 50-100 nm. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS） analysis indicated that enhanced Fe oxides and Cr oxides were generated. Electrochemical corrosion tests, including open circuit potential （OCP）, electrochemical impendence spectroscopy （EIS）, potentiodynamic polarization （PDP） and potentiostatic polarization （PP） were conducted to study the corrosion be- havior of SNC steel in 3.5 mass% NaC1 solution, where an improved corrosion resistance was observed. The resulted improvement resulted from the dominated positive effects （the attached Cr alloying element and enhanced oxide film） against the negative effects （the higher roughness and the improved corrosion activity of surface microstructure）.

Monitoring iodine adsorption onto zeolitic-imidazolate framework-8 film using a separated-electrode piezoelectric sensor

In this work, a separated-electrode piezoelectric sensor（SEPS）, constructed by a naked quartz crystal mounted between two electrodes, is reported for applications in a corrosive gaseous phase. The response of SEPS was measured by an impedance analysis method. It was shown that SEPS has an excellent frequency stability because its quality factor is in the order of 10^5. The SEPS can be operated even with the electrode gap in air larger than 1 cm. Compared with a conventional quartz crystal microbalance, the resonant frequency of the SEPS is independent of the mass change in the electrode. The SEPS was applied to monitor the adsorption of iodine on quartz surface and zeolitic-imidazolate framework-8（ZIF-8） film as well as in the transfer of iodine between two ZIF-8 films. The SEPS offers the advantages of easy preparation, corrosion-resistant and convenience in combination with mass and optical measurements.

Panoramic camera on the Yutu lunar rover of the Chang'e-3 mission

The Chang＇e-3 panoramic camera, which is composed of two cameras with identical functions, performances and interfaces, is installed on the lunar rover mast. It can acquire 3D images of the lunar surface based on the principle of binocular stereo vision. By rotating and pitching the mast, it can take several photographs of the patrol area. After stitching these images, panoramic images of the scenes will be *** the topography and geomorphology of the patrol area and the impact crater, as well as the geological structure of the lunar surface, will be analyzed and *** addition, it can take color photographs of the lander using the Bayer color coding principle. It can observe the working status of the lander by switching between static image mode and dynamic video mode with automatic exposure time. The focal length of the lens on the panoramic camera is 50 mm and the field of view is 19.7？umination and viewing conditions, the largest signal-to-no×14.5？.Under the best illise ratio of the panoramic camera is 44 d B. Its static modulation transfer function is 0.33. A large number of ground testing experiments and on-orbit imaging results show that the functional interface of the panoramic camera works normally. The image quality of the panoramic camera is satisfactory. All the performance parameters of the panoramic camera satisfy the design requirements.

Since the discovery of HfO2-based ferroelectric （FE） materials in 2011,considerable advancements have been made in material preparation,mechanism research,and device realization [1].Consequently,these materials are now regarded as leading candidates for embedded non-volatile memory（eNVM）.Beyond eNVM applications,recent studies have demonstrated that memory devices with antiferroelectric（AFE） films can achieve high response speeds,low latency,and reduced power consumption while maintaining excellent endurance characteristics [2,3].Additionally,the typical double hysteresis loops and multiple non-overlapping polarization current peaks of AFE films offer a novel approach to designing multistate ***,in order to further promote the application of high storage density AFE,an AFRAM electronic design automation （EDA） model must be developed,and it has yet to be proposed.
