Objective Post-stroke cognitive impairment(PSCI)develops in approximately one-third of stroke survivors and is associated with ***,the biochemical mechanisms underlying PSCI remain *** study aimed to establish an ischemic mouse model by means of transient unilateral middle cerebral artery occlusions(MCAOs)and to explore the biochemical mechanisms of p25/cyclin-dependent kinase 5(CDK5)-mediated tau hyperphosphorylation on the PSCI *** Cognitive behavior was investigated,followed by the detection of tau hyperphosphorylation,mobilization,activation of kinases and/or inhibition of phosphatases in the lateral and contralateral cerebrum of mice following ischemia in MACO ***,we treated HEK293/tau cells with oxygen-glucose deprivation(OGD)and a CDK5 inhibitor(Roscovitine)or a GSK3βinhibitor(LiCl)to the roles of CDK5 and GSK3βin mediating ischemia-reperfusion-induced tau *** Ischemia induced cognitive impairments within 2 months,as well as causing tau hyperphosphorylation and its localization to neuronal somata in both ipsilateral and contralateral ***,p25 that promotes CDK5 hyperactivation had significantly higher expression in the mice with MCAO than in the shamoperation(control)group,while the expression levels of protein phosphatase 2(PP2A)and the phosphorylation level at Tyr307 were comparable between the two *** addition,the CDK5 inhibitor rescued tau from hyperphosphorylation induced by *** These findings demonstrate that upregulation of CDK5 mediates tau hyperphosphorylation and localization in both ipsilateral and contralateral cerebra,contributing to the pathogenesis of PSCI.

Accurate prediction of rockburst proneness is one of challenges for assessing the rockburst risk and selecting effective control *** study aims to assess rockburst proneness by considering the energy characteristics and qualitative information during rock *** representative rock types in cylindrical and cuboidal sample shapes were tested under uniaxial compression conditions and the failure progress was detected by a high-speed *** far-field ejection mass ratio(FEMR)was determined considering the qualitative failure information of the rock *** peak-strength energy impact index and the residual elastic energy index were used to quantitatively evaluate the rockburst proneness of both cylindrical and cuboidal ***,the performance of these two indices was analyzed by comparing their estimates with the *** results show that the accuracy of the residual elastic energy index is significantly higher than that of the peak-strength energy impact *** residual elastic energy index and the FEMR are in good agreement for both cylindrical and cuboidal rock *** is because these two indices can essentially reflect the common energy release mechanism characterized by the mass,ejection velocity,and ejection distance of rock *** suggests that both the FEMR and the residual elastic energy index can be used to accurately measure the rockburst proneness of cylindrical and cuboidal samples based on uniaxial compression test.

The aging of operational reactors leads to increased mechanical vibrations in the reactor *** vibration of the incore sensors near their nominal locations is a new problem for neutronic field *** field-reconstruction methods fail to handle spatially moving *** this study,we propose a Voronoi tessellation technique in combination with convolutional neural networks to handle this *** from movable in-core sensors were projected onto the same global field structure using Voronoi tessellation,holding the magnitude and location information of the *** convolutional neural networks were used to learn maps from observations to the global *** proposed method reconstructed multi-physics fields(including fast flux,thermal flux,and power rate)using observations from a single field(such as thermal flux).Numerical tests based on the IAEA benchmark demonstrated the potential of the proposed method in practical engineering applications,particularly within an amplitude of 5 cm around the nominal locations,which led to average relative errors below 5% and 10% in the L_(2) and L_(∞)norms,respectively.

Long-lived lunar volcanism sustained by precession-driven core-mantle friction

Core-mantle friction induced by the precession of the Moon's spin axis is a strong heat source in the deep lunar mantle during the early phase of a satellite's evolution, but its influence on the long-term thermal evolution still remains poorly explored. Using a one-dimensional thermal evolution model, we show that core-mantle friction can sustain global-scale partial melting in the upper lunar mantle until ～3.1 Ga, thus accounting for the intense volcanic activity on the Moon before ～3.0 Ga. Besides, core-mantle friction tends to suppress the secular cooling of the lunar core and is unlikely to be an energy source for the long-lived lunar core dynamo. Our model also favours the transition of the Cassini state before the end of the lunar magma ocean phase(～4.2 Ga), which implies a decreasing lunar obliquity over time after the solidification of the lunar magma ocean. Such a trend of lunar obliquity evolution may allow volcanically released water to be buried in the lunar regolith of the polar regions. As a consequence, local water ice could be more abundant than previously thought when considering only its accumulation caused by solar wind and comet spreading.

In this paper,Si coatings were sprayed onto C/SiC composite substrates by atmospheric plasma spraying(APS).The high-temperature oxidation behavior of the substrate and coating at temperatures of 1100 and 1300℃was also *** C/SiC ceramic matrix composite will be damaged seriously and even failed due to the oxidation of carbon fibers in *** Si coating effectively improved the oxidation resistance of the C/SiC substrate in the high-temperature oxidation *** effect of the thickness of the Si coatings on the oxidation resistance was *** 150-μm coating is proved to enable the substrate to have the lowest oxidation weight loss and the best oxidation resistance after static oxidation for 5 h.

The amino acids and the volatile substances in grapes and wines play important roles in their quality,and the concentrations of these substances can be changed by how a vineyard is managed,e.g.,irrigation and fertigation *** study aimed to evaluate the effect of fertilizer and water management on the distribution of amino acids,the volatile component profiles,and the sensory characteristics of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and *** results showed that the amino acid concentration in grape berries was the highest under the 100%local fertilizer rate(HF)and 100%water irrigation quota(HW)treatment,and the volatile component concentration in wine was the highest under HF and 80%water irrigation quota(MW)*** effect of irrigation on the amino acid content in grapes was greater than that of *** synergistic effect of fertilizer and water on arginine,serine,and glutamine in grape berries was *** interactive effect of fertigation and irrigation on the volatile substance in grapes was greater than that of fertigation and irrigation *** influence of irrigation on volatile substances in wines was greater than that of *** addition,there was also a correlation between the concentrations of multiple amino acids in grapes and volatile components in *** component analysis showed that the wine from the HFMW treatment had the best quality among all treatments.
