Dielectric Properties of Capacitive-Type Humidity Sensor Made under Different Pressures

MicroRNAs of microglia： wrestling with central nervous system disease

Microglia serve as brain-resident myeloid cells that affect cerebral development, ischemia, neurodegeneration, and neuro-viral infection. MicroRNAs play a key role in central nervous system disease through post-transcriptional regulation. Indeed, evidence shows that microRNAs are one of the most important regulators mediating microglial activation, polarization, and autophagy, and subsequently affecting neuroinflammation and the outcome of central nervous system disease. In this review, we provide insight into the function of microRNAs, which may be an attractive strategy and influential treatment for microglia-related central nervous system dysfunction. Moreover, we comprehensively describe how microglia fight against central nervous system disease via multiple functional microRNAs.

Adaptive dynamic programming for linear impulse systems

We investigate the optimization of linear impulse systems with the reinforcement learning based adaptive dynamic programming(ADP)*** linear impulse systems,the optimal objective function is shown to be a quadric form of the pre-impulse *** ADP method provides solutions that iteratively converge to the optimal objective *** an initial guess of the pre-impulse objective function is selected as a quadratic form of the pre-impulse states,the objective function iteratively converges to the optimal one through *** direct use of the quadratic objective function of the states within the ADP method is theoretically possible,the numerical singularity problem may occur due to the matrix inversion therein when the system dimensionality increases.A neural network based ADP method can circumvent this problem.A neural network with polynomial activation functions is selected to approximate the pre-impulse objective function and trained iteratively using the ADP method to achieve optimal *** a successful training,optimal impulse control can be *** are presented for illustrative purposes.

InAs/InAsSb type-Ⅱ superlattice with near room-temperature long-wave emission through interface engineering

Ga-free InAs/InAsSb type-Ⅱ superlattices(T2SL) have extensive application prospective in infrared photodetectors. Achieving higher operation temperature is critical to its commercial applications. Here, a fractional monolayer alloy method was used to grow InAsSb alloy with better controlled alloy composition. The as-grown T2SL gave eleven satellite peaks and a first satellite peak with a narrow full-width-half-maximum (FWHM) of 20.5arcsec (1 arcsec=0.01592°). Strain mapping results indicated limited Sb diffusion through the As-Sb exchange process at the interface. Moreover, unlike interface states caused by the As-Sb exchange effect, this relatively clear interface was distinctive with localized states with higher activation energies of the non-radiative recombination process ((18±1) meV and (84±12) meV at different temperature ranges), which means that this interface state introduced by fractional monolayer alloy growth method can effectively suppress Auger recombination process in T2SL. Through this interface engineering of InAs/InAsSb Type-Ⅱ superlattice, it achieved detective photoluminescence (PL) signal with the center wavelength of 9μm at 250K.

Leucospilotaside C,a new sulfated triterpene glycoside from sea cucumber Holothuria leucospilota

A new triterpene glycoside, leucospilotaside C, along with two known saponin, was isolated from sea cucumber Holothuria leucospilota collected from the South China Sea, and its structure was elucidated as 3-0-{4′-O-sodiumsulfate-β′-D-xylopyranosyl}- holosta-22,25-epoxy-9-ene-3β,12α,17α-triol （1） by extensive spectroscopic analysis and chemical methods. The glycosides have the same triterpene aglycone, but differ in the oligosaccharide moieties.

Coronary artery spasm （CAS） is found not only in Asian but also in white patients. CAS can lead to angina pecto- ris, myocardial infarction, ventricular arrhythmias and sud- den cardiac death. But CAS diagnosis is not necessarily easy, and it also remains highly challenging to therapy and prevention. We present a spontaneous extensive-CAS case with typical clinical features of acute myocardial infarction, despite the regular vasodilator treatment.
