Single-molecule luminophores with dual-thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)properties are receiving increasing ***,how to achieve these goals requires more in-depth ***,we demonstrate a novel example emitter,10-(5-(2-(pyridin-3-yl)-[4,5′-bipyrimidin]-6-yl)pyridin-2-yl)-10Hphenoxazine(PmPy-PXZ),enabling dual-TADF properties due to its key feature of conformational *** a pyridine bridge can greatly reduce the steric hindrance and facilitate dual-stable conformations in the ground state,where the quasi-axial(QA)forms ***,unlike previously reported TADF molecules with dual confirmations,both theoretical and experimental measurements show that not only the quasi-equatorial(QE)forms but also the QA forms exhibit distinct TADF characteristics,which can be attributed to an additional higher reverse intersystem crossing *** is the first time that dual-TADF properties of single molecules have been achieved based on conformational *** applications in“self-doping”organic light-emitting diode and biomedical imaging have further been *** these results show the good potential of such dual-band TADF emitters based on molecular conformational isomerization.

Regular TiN is harmful to the toughness of steel,and its shape and size need to be *** the behavior of TiN precipitation on CeAlO_(3) surfaces is critical for controlling the morphology and formation process of CeAlO_(3)–TiN composite inclusions in the *** results showed that TiN had a square morphology on the CeAlO3 surface,and electron backscatter diffraction phase identification results revealed the orientation relationship between CeAlO_(3) and TiN as follows:(001)_(CeAlO_(3))//(110)_(TiN),(100)_(CeAlO_(3))/(001)_(TiN),and[010]_(CeAlO_(3))/[110]_(TiN).The CeAlO3 crystal structure was studied using the first-principles calculation method,and the adsorption and growth process of TiN on the CeAlO_(3) surface were investigated from the atomic *** calculation results indicate that there is no metallic bonding present in the CeAlO_(3) *** the low-index crystal planes of CeAlO_(3),the(110)planes terminated with O and CeAlO have the highest and lowest surface energies,respectively,with values of 0.373 and 0.051 eV/Å^(2).On the high surface energy plane of CeAlO_(3),the TiN atomic permutation structure is consistent with the arrangement of Ti and N atoms in TiN(100)or(110).For the low surface energy plane of CeAlO_(3),the Ti and N atoms are arranged in a ring-like structure.

Background： Survivin is an oncoprotein silenced in normal mature tissues but reactivated in serous ovarian cancer （SOC）. Although transcriptional activation is assumed for its overexpression, the long 3＇-untranslated region （3＇-UTR） in survivin gene, which contains many alternate polyadenylation （APA） sites, implies a propensity for posttranscriptional control and therefore was the aim of our study. Methods： The abundance of the coding region, the proximal and the distal region of survivin mRNA 3＇-UTR, was evaluated by real-time polymerase chain reaction （PCR） in SOC samples, cell lines, and normal fallopian tube （NFT） tissues. The APA sites were confirmed by rapid amplification ofcDNA 3＇ ends and DNA sequencing. Real-time PCR were used to screen survivin-targeting microRNAs （miRNAs） that were inversely correlated with survivin. The expression of an inversely correlated miRNA was restored by pre-miRNA transfection or induction with a genotoxic agent to test its inhibitory effect on survivin overexpression. Results： Varying degrees of APA were observed in SOC by comparing the abundance of the proximal and the distal region of survivin 3＇-UTR, and changes of 3＇-UTR correlated significantly with survivin expression （r = 0.708, P 〈 0.01）. The main APA sites are proved at 1197 and 1673 of survivin 3＇-UTR by DNA sequencing. Higher level of 3＇-UTR proximal region than coding region was observed in NFT, as well as in SOC and cell lines. Among the survivin-targeting miRNAs, only a few highly expressed miRNAs were inversely correlated with survivin levels, and they mainly targeted the distal part of the 3＇-UTR. However, in ovarian cancer cells, restoration of an inversely correlated miRNA （miR-34c） showed little effect on survivin expression. Conclusions： In NFT tissues, survivin is not transcriptionally silenced but regulate posttranscriptionally. Biomineralization through microbial process has attracted great attention in the field of geotechnical engineering due to its ability to bind granular materials,clog pores,and seal *** minerals formed by biomineralization are generally the same as that by mineralization,their mechanical behaviors show a significant *** study aims to figure out the differences between biomineralization and mineralization processes by visualizing and tracking the formation of minerals using *** biomineralization and mineralization processes occurred in the Y-shaped sandcontaining microchip that mimics the underground sand *** from different areas in the reaction microchannel of microchips were captured to directly compare the distribution of *** size and numbers from different reaction times were measured to quantify the differences between biomineralization and mineralization processes in terms of crystal *** showed that the crystals were precipitated in a faster and more uncontrollable manner in the mineralization process than that in the biomineralization process,given that those two processes presented similar precipitation *** addition,a more heterogeneous distribution of crystals was observed during the biomineralization *** precipitation behaviors were further explained by the classical nucleation crystal growth *** present microfluidic tests could advance the understanding of biomineralization and provide new insight into the optimization of biocementation technology.

Few studies have investigated the spatial patterns of the air temperature urban heat island(AUHI)and its controlling *** this study,the data generated by an urban climate model were used to investigate the spatial variations of the AUHI across China and the underlying climate and ecological drivers.A total of 355 urban clusters were *** performed an attribution analysis of the AUHI to elucidate the mechanisms underlying its *** results show that the midday AUHI is negatively correlated with climate wetness(humid:0.34 K;semi-humid:0.50 K;semi-arid:0.73 K).The annual mean midnight AUHI does not show discernible spatial patterns,but is generally stronger than the midday *** urban–rural difference in convection efficiency is the largest contributor to the midday AUHI in the humid(0.32±0.09 K)and the semi-arid(0.36±0.11 K)climate *** release of anthropogenic heat from urban land is the dominant contributor to the midnight AUHI in all three climate *** rural vegetation density is the most important driver of the daytime and nighttime AUHI spatial variations.A spatial covariance analysis revealed that this vegetation influence is manifested mainly through its regulation of heat storage in rural land.
