Halogenated alkanes are high-value chemical feedstocks in synthetic chemistry and petrochemical industry[1,2].Therefore,the separation of halogenated alkane isomers is one of the necessary chemical processes in the petrochemical industry.However,the isomers normally have close boiling points due to the same molecular weight and similar chemical structure,which makes it difficult to separate the isomers with high purity by traditional methods such as distillation.Consequently,it is of great significance for petrochemical industry to find an efficient and energy-saving scheme to separate halogenated alkanes isomers.

Hereditary spastic paraplegia(HSP)is a group of genetic motor neuron diseases resulting from length-dependent axonal degeneration of the corticospinal upper motor neurons.Due to the advancement of next-generation sequencing,more than 70 novel HSP disease-causing genes have been identified in the past decade.Despite this,our understanding of HSP physiopathology and the development of efficient management and treatment strategies remain poor.One major challenge in studying HSP pathogenicity is selective neuronal vulnerability,characterized by the manifestation of clinical symptoms that are restricted to specific neuronal populations,despite the presence of germline disease-causing variants in every cell of the patient.Furthermore,disease genes may exhibit ubiquitous expression patterns and involve a myriad of different pathways to cause motor neuron degeneration.In the current review,we explore the correlation between transcriptomic data and clinical manifestations,as well as the importance of interspecies models by comparing tissue-specific transcriptomic profiles of humans and mice,expression patterns of different genes in the brain during development,and single-cell transcriptomic data from related tissues.Furthermore,we discuss the potential of emerging single-cell RNA sequencing technologies to resolve unanswered questions related to HSP pathogenicity.

The construction of new power systems presents higher requirements for the Power Internet of Things(PIoT)technology.The“source-grid-load-storage”architecture of a new power system requires PIoT to have a stronger multi-source heterogeneous data fusion ability.Native graph databases have great advantages in dealing with multi-source heterogeneous data,which make them suitable for an increasing number of analytical computing tasks.However,only few existing graph database products have native support for matrix operation-related interfaces or functions,resulting in low efficiency when handling matrix calculations that are commonly encountered in power grids.In this paper,the matrix computation process is expressed by a strategy called graph description,which relies on the natural connection between the matrix and structure of the graph.Based on that,we implement matrix operations on graph database,including matrix multiplication,matrix decomposition,etc.Specifically,only the nodes relevant to the computation and their neighbors are concerned in the process,which prunes the influence of zero elements in the matrix and avoids useless iterations compared to the conventional matrix computation.Based on the graph description,a series of power grid computations can be implemented on graph database,which reduces redundant data import and export operations while leveraging the parallel computing capability of graph database.It promotes the efficiency of PIoT when handling multi-source heterogeneous data.An comprehensive experimental study over two different scale power system datasets compares the proposed method with Python and MATLAB baselines.The results reveal the superior performance of our proposed method in both power flow and N-1 contingency computations.

Operation control of power systems has become challenging with an increase in the scale and complexity of power distribution systems and extensive access to renewable energy.Therefore,improvement of the ability of data-driven operation management,intelligent analysis,and mining is urgently required.To investigate and explore similar regularities of the historical operating section of the power distribution system and assist the power grid in obtaining high-value historical operation,maintenance experience,and knowledge by rule and line,a neural information retrieval model with an attention mechanism is proposed based on graph data computing technology.Based on the processing flow of the operating data of the power distribution system,a technical framework of neural information retrieval is established.Combined with the natural graph characteristics of the power distribution system,a unified graph data structure and a data fusion method of data access,data complement,and multi-source data are constructed.Further,a graph node feature-embedding representation learning algorithm and a neural information retrieval algorithm model are constructed.The neural information retrieval algorithm model is trained and tested using the generated graph node feature representation vector set.The model is verified on the operating section of the power distribution system of a provincial grid area.The results show that the proposed method demonstrates high accuracy in the similarity matching of historical operation characteristics and effectively supports intelligent fault diagnosis and elimination in power distribution systems.

The cement sheath is the heart of any oil or gas well for providing zonal isolation and well integrity during the life of a well. Loads induced by well construction operations and borehole pressure and temperature changes may lead to the ultimate failure of cement sheath. This paper quantifies the potential of cement failure under mechanically and thermally induced stress during the life-of-well using a coupled thermal-hydrological-mechanical (THM) modeling approach. A staged finite-element procedure is presented considering sequential stress and displacement development during each stage of the well life, including drilling, casing, cementing, completion, production, and injection. The staged model quantifies the stress states and state variables, e.g., plastic strain, damage, and debonding at cement/rock or cement/casing interface, in each well stage from simultaneous action of in-situ stress, pore pressure, temperature, casing pressure, and cement hardening/shrinkage. Thus, it eliminates the need to guess the initial stress and strain state before modeling a specific stage. Moreover, coupled THM capabilities of the model ensure the full consideration of the interaction between these influential factors. (c) 2022 The Authors. The loach tribe Yunnanilini from China is reviewed here using morphological characters and complete mitochondrial genomes of select species.Molecular data suggest that the tribe Yunnanilini is not monophyletic and can be divided into three clades.Species of the Yunnanilus nigromaculatus group form an independent genus and are placed in Eonemachilus.In the phylogenetic tree,Y.jinxiensis clusters with Paranemachilus genilepis,and Y.pulcherrimus clusters with Micronemacheilus cruciatus,indicating that Y.jinxiensis and Y.pulcherrimus belong to Paranemachilus and Micronemacheilus,respectively.Based on while Y.jinxiensis and Y.pulcherrimus,are placed in Paranemachilus and Micronemacheilus,respectively.Yunnanilus niulanensis and Y.qujinensis are treated as junior synonyms of Eonemachilus caohaiensis.Eonemachilus,Micronemacheilus,and Yunnanilus are show short separation between anterior and posterior nostrils.The genera can be distinguished from each other by mouth structure,lateral line and cephalic lateral-line canals,and papillae on median part of both lips.The anterior and posterior nostrils of Heminoemacheilus and Paranemachilus are closely set.Paranemachilus and Micronemacheilus are distinguished by cheeks covered with scales and lips with papillae,respectively.Our phylogenetic tree and morphological characters support Traccatichthys as a valid genus,which can be distinguished from Micronemacheilus by anterior and posterior nostrils closely set(vs.clearly separated).Four species are placed in Traccatichthys.

A possible quasi-periodic oscillation(QPO) at frequency 7.045 × 10-5Hz is found in the narrow-line Seyfert 1galaxy Mrk 142 in the data of XMM-Newton collected on 2020 April 11. We find that the QPO signal is statistically significantly larger than the 5σ level and highly coherent with quality factor Q > 5 at the 0.3–10 keV band by using the method of the Lomb–Scargle Periodogram, the Weighted Wavelet Z-transform and the REDFIT.We analyze the data in 0.3–0.6 keV, 0.6–1 keV, 1–3 keV and 3–10 keV energy bands, and find obvious QPO signals at 0.3–0.6 keV and 1–3 keV bands. We then analyze the time-average spectra and time variability at the QPO frequency of 7.045 × 10-5Hz, and use a model to fit them. We find that the QPO signal mainly comes from the X-ray hot corona.
