Elucidating the nature of the active sites in heterogeneous catalysts is fundamental for understanding their reactivity and catalytic performances. Although stannosilicate zeolites have tremendous application potential for catalyzing biomass-related compounds in aqueous media, the detailed local structures and features of the real active sites and their possible structural variations under reaction conditions are poorly understood to date. In this study, a dynamic transformation of framework Sn−O−Si sites to Sn−OH/Si−OH pairs and subsequently a pseudo-Brønsted acid in stannosilicate zeolites upon molecular adsorption, which is analogous to various adsorbates/reactants under working conditions, was identified by solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy for the first time, which challenges the widespread assumption that the active center structures remain rigid/stable during the catalytic process. These results provide new comprehensive insights for the fundamental understanding of the dynamic and flexible active centers and involved reaction mechanisms of novel zeolite catalysts with heterometal atoms, such as Sn, Ti, and Zr. © 2023

Conversion to sirolimus immunosuppression in liver transplantation recipients with hepatocellular carcinoma:Report of an initial experience

AIM： To report a retrospective analysis of preliminary results of 36 patients who received sirolimus （SRL, Rapamune, rapamycin） in a consecutive cohort of 248 liver allograft recipients. METHODS： Thirty-six liver transplant patients with hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC） who were switched to SRL- based immunosuppression therapy from tacrolimus were enrolled in this study. The patients who were diagnosed as advanced HCC before orthotopic liver transplantation （OLT） were divided into group A （n = 11）, those who were found to have HCC recurrence and/or metastasis after OLT were assigned to group B （n = 18）, and those who developed renal insuffidency caused by caldneurin inhibitor （CNI） were assigned to group C （n = 7） after OLT. RESULTS： The patients were followed up for a median of 10.4 mo （range, 3.8-19.1 mo） after conversion to SRL therapy and 12.3 mo （range, 5.1-34.4 too） after OLT. Three patients developed mild acute cellular rejection 2 wk after initiating SRL therapy, which was fully reversed after prednisolone pulse therapy. In group A, only 1 patient was found to have HCC recurrence and metastasis 12 mo after OLT. In group B, 66.7% （12/18） patients （2 with progressive tumor, 7 with stable tumor and 3 without tumor） were still alive due to conversing to SRL and/ or resection for HCC recurrence at the end of a median follow-up of 6.8 mo post conversion and 10.7 mo posttransplant. In group C, no HCC recurrence was demonstrated in 7 patients, and renal function became normal after SRL therapy. Thrombocytopenia （n = 2）, anemia （n = 8）, and oral aphthous ulcers （n = 7） found in our cohort were easily manageable. CONCLUSION： The conversion to SRL-based immunosuppression may inhibit the recurrence and metastasis of HCC and improve CNI-induced renal insufficiency in OLT patients with HCC.

AIM:To elucidate the neuropathological mechanisms underlying diabetic vitreous hemorrhage(DVH)and its correlation with clinical ***:Twenty-one individuals with DVH(male/female 12/9;mean age 52.29±11.66y)were selected,alongside 21 appropriately matched controls with diabetes mellitus(DM).Voxel-based morphometry(VBM)techniques were employed to identify aberrant functional regions in the *** operating characteristic(ROC)curves were utilized for classification based on the average VBM values of the two groups,and Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to assess the relationship between average VBM values in distinct brain regions and clinical ***:Relative to the DM controls,DVH patients exhibited reduced VBM values in the right superior temporal pole,the right superior temporal gyrus,the right medial orbital frontal gyrus,and the left superior frontal ***,ROC curve analysis of these four brain regions in DVH patients demonstrated a high degree of accuracy,as indicated by the area under the *** average VBM value in each of these regions exhibited a negative correlation with both the duration of DVH and the score on the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS).CONCLUSION:Pathological alterations in four distinct brain regions are observed in patients with DVH,potentially reflecting neuropathological changes associated with this condition.

Seawater electrolysis is a highly promising method to produce high energy density hydrogen,especially in dry areas that have scarce freshwater ***,application of seawater electrolysis is confronted by two major problems associated with catalysts employed for the anodic oxygen evolution reaction （OER） including the competitive hypochlorite evolution reaction（HCER） and strong chloridion （Cl–） triggered *** studies aimed at overcoming these problems,a facile method has been developed to synthesize a homologous CoS2heterojunction as an OER *** to a difference in work functions at the interface and increased electron density,this material has directed electron transfer and strong chloridion repulsion properties,*** have shown that CoS2achieves low overpotentials of 289 and 322 mV at 10 mA cm-2current density in respective alkaline （1 M KOH） and alkaline simulated seawater ***,the outstanding stability of CoS2is reflected in a negligible decline in activity during promotion of the OER for 100 *** of density functional theory calculations reveal that the homologous CoS2heterojunction promotes directed electron transport for optimizing adsorption/desorption of reactive species and heightens the Cl-adsorption energy for strongly repulsing Cl-,phenomena that enhance OER performance in alkaline simulated seawater.

The study of high-energy gamma-ray emission from gamma-ray bursts(GRBs) involves complex synchrotron radiation and synchrotron self-Compton(SSC) scattering mechanisms with multiple parameters exhibiting a wide distribution. Recent advancements in GRB research, particularly the observation of very high energy(VHE,>100 Ge V) radiation, have ushered in a new era of multiwavelength exploration, offering fresh perspectives and limitations for understanding GRB radiation mechanisms. This study aimed to leverage VHE observations to refine constraints on synchrotron + SSC radiation from electrons accelerated by forward shocks. By analyzing two external environments—the uniform interstellar medium and stratified stellar wind medium, we conducted spectral and variability fitting for five specific bursts(GRB 180720B, GRB 190114C, GRB 190829A, GRB 201216C, and GRB 221009A) to identify the optimal parameters characterizing these events. A comparative analysis of model parameter distributions with and without VHE radiation observations reveals that the magnetic energy equipartition factor εBis more concentrated with VHE emissions. This suggests that VHE emissions may offer greater constraints on this microphysical parameter. Additionally, we found that the energy budget between VHE and ke V–Me V γ-ray emissions under the SSC radiation exhibits an almost linear relationship, which may serve as a tool to differentiate radiation mechanisms. We anticipate future statistical analyses of additional VHE bursts to validate our findings.

目的应用球囊导管阻断腹主动脉后再行胎盘的剥离,探讨其对减少凶险性前置胎盘并胎盘植入的剖宫产术中出血的临床意义。方法回顾性分析22例凶险性前置胎盘并胎盘植入的剖宫产患者。所有患者均接受术前放置球囊导管,凶险性前置胎盘剖宫产术中先娩出胎儿,断脐后立即给予球囊阻断。结果所有患者均证实为凶险性前置胎盘并胎盘植入,包括3例穿透性胎盘植入患者。该方法的技术成功率为86.3%(19/22)。19例患者成功接受手术并保留子宫。子宫切除率约13.7%(3/22)。术中出血量为(686±355)ml。22例患者中仅3例穿透性胎盘植入的患者术中输血,其余19例患者均未输血,术中球囊阻断时间以及胎儿的辐射剂量分别为(25.4±7.2)min和(30.2±8.9)m Gy。术后和随访期间并无介入相关的并发症。结论腹主动脉球囊阻断术能够有效控制凶险性前置胎盘并胎盘植入患者胎盘剥离时引起的术中大出血,降低输血需求及子宫切除率。

This study focuses on the electrical properties and microstructure of polypropylene(PP)-based blends used for cable insulation in nuclear power plants(NPPs).The PP-based blend,comprising isotactic PP and propylene-based elastomer(PBE)at concentrations ranging from 0 to 50 wt%,underwent a melt blending process and subsequent cobalt-60 gamma-ray irradiation with doses ranging from 0 to 250 *** conductivity,trap distribution,and alternating(AC)breakdown strength were chosen to assess the insulation *** results indicate that the addition of PBE significantly improves the electrical properties of PP under *** PP,the electrical conductivity increased with irradiation,whereas the trap depth and breakdown strength decreased ***,for the blend,these changes initially exhibit opposite *** the irradiation was increased to 250 kGy,the AC breakdown strength of the blend improved by more than 21%compared to that of *** physical and chemical structures of the samples were investigated to explore the improvement *** results offer insights into the design of new cable-insulation materials suitable for NPPs.

Objective:To explore the efficacy and safety of Juan Bi Pill(JBP)in treatment of active rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods:From February 2017 to May 2018,115 participants from 4 centers were randomly divided into JBP group(57 cases)and placebo group(58 cases)in a 1:1 ratio using a random number table *** received a dose of JBP(4 g,twice a day,orally)combined with methotrexate(MTX,10 mg per week)or placebo(4 g,twice a day,orally)combined with MTX for 12 *** were required with follow-up visits at 24 and 48 weeks,attending 7 assessment *** were undergo disease activity assessment 7 times(at baseline and 2,4,8,12,24,48 weeks)and safety assessments 6 times(at baseline and 4,8,12,24,48 weeks).The primary endpoint was 28-joint Disease Activity Score(DAS28-ESR and DAS28-CRP).The secondary endpoints included American College of Rheumatology(ACR)criteria for 20%and 50%improvement(ACR20/50),Health Assessment Questionnaire Disability Index(HAQ-DI),clinical disease activity index(CDAI),visual analog scale(VAS),Short Form-36(SF-36)score,Medial Outcomes Study(MOS)sleep scale score,serum erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),tender joint count,swollen joint count,and morning *** adverse reactions were observed during the ***:After 12 weeks of treatment,DAS28-ESR and DAS28-CRP scores in both groups were lower than before treatment(both P<0.01),while the remission rate of DAS28-ESR and DAS28-CRP and low disease activity of JBP group were higher than those in the placebo group(both P<0.01).JBP demonstrated better efficacy on ACR20 and ACR50 compliance rate at 12 and 48 weeks comparing to placebo(all P<0.05).The CDAI and HAQ-DI score,pain VAS and global VAS change of RA patients and physicians,the serum ESR and CRP levels,and the number of tenderness and swelling joints were lower than before treatment at 4,8,12,24,48 weeks in both groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01),while the reduction of above indices in

The metal ion batteries have gained widespread attention for wearable electronics due to their competitive energy density and long cycling *** the advanced anode materials is significant for next generation energy storage ***,severe electrode volume changes and sluggish redox kinetics are the critical problems for lithium/potassium ion batteries(LIBs/PIBs)towards large-scale ***,we prepare a novel anode material,which consists of reduced graphene oxide wrapping one-dimensional(1D)N-doped porous carbon nanotube with cobalt phosphoselenide(CoPSe)nanoparticles embedded inside them(r GO@Co PSe/NC).Benefited from the dual carbon decorations and ultrafine nanoparticles structure,it achieves a reversible capacity of 245 mAh/g at 5 A/g after 2000 cycles for LIBs and 215 mAh/g at 1 A/g after 500 cycles for *** pseudocapacitance and GITT measurements are used to investigate the electrochemical kinetics of r GO@Co PSe/NC for *** addition,the lithium ion full cell also shows good electrochemical performance when paired with high capacity LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2) *** work provides a feasible electrode design strategy for high-efficiency metal ion batteries based on multidimensional nanoarchitecture engineering and composition tailoring.
