Globally,most organic-rich shales are deposited with volcanic ash *** ash,a source for many sedimentary basins,can affect the sedimentary water environment,alter the primary productivity,and preserve the organic matter(OM)through physical,chemical,and biological *** an increasing number of breakthroughs in shale oil exploration in the Bohai Bay Basin in recent years,less attention has been paid to the crucial role of volcanic impact especially its influence on the OM enrichment and hydrocarbon ***,we studied the petrology,mineralogy,and geochemical characteristics of the organic-rich shale in the upper submember of the fourth member(Es_(4)^(1))and the lower submember of the third member(Es_(3)^(3))of the Shahejie Formation,aiming to better understand the volcanic impact on organic-rich shale *** results show that total organic carbon is higher in the upper shale intervals rich in volcanic ash with enriched light rare earth elements and moderate Eu *** indicates that volcanism promoted OM formation before or after the *** positive correlation between Eu/Eu*and Post-Archean Australian Shale indicates hydrothermal activity before the volcanic *** plane graph of the hydrocarbon-generating intensity(S1+S2)suggests that the heat released by volcanism promoted hydrocarbon ***,the nutrients carried by volcanic ash promoted biological blooms during Es_(4)^(1 )and Es_(3)^(3) deposition,yielding a high primary *** blooms consume large amounts of oxygen and form anoxic environments conducive to the burial and preservation of ***,this study helps to further understand the organic-inorganic interactions caused by typical geological events and provides a guide for the next step of shale oil exploration and development in other lacustrine basins in China.

The differences in the leaching and mass transfer characteristics of ion-adsorption type rare earth ore between rare earth and non-rare earth impurities were investigated. It is determined that the leaching kinetics of rare earths （REs）, Mg and Ca could be described by the shrinking-core model. The leaching rate is controlled by inner diffusion and is in the order of Mg 〉 Ca 〉 RE. The apparent activation energy is 8.48, 6.79 and 6.32 kJ·mol^-1, respectively. In leaching system of Al, the leaching efficiency decreases with the increase in temperature because of hydrolysis reactions. The leaching efficiency of aluminum increases firstly and then decreases with the passage of time when the temperature is higher than 35 ℃. Besides, there is a good consistency in leaching characteristics and mass transfer, and the order of the time-to- peak is Mg 〈 Ca 〈 RE 〈 Al. Therefore, rare earth and non-rare earth may be partly separated by expanding the separation coefficient. The research could provide a theoretic basis for the separation of rare earth and non-rare earth impurities. Furthermore, compound leaching with magnesium salt and calcium salt is innovatively proposed to solve the problem of calcium and magnesium nutrient loss in the soil as well as eliminate ammonia-nitrogen emissions from the source.

The key regulators and regeneration-associated genes involved in axonal regeneration of neurons after injury have not been *** high-throughput sequencing,various factors influence the final sequencing results,including the number and size of cells,the depth of sequencing,and the method of cell *** is still a lack of research on the detailed molecular expression profile during the regeneration of dorsal root ganglion neuron *** this study,we performed lase r-capture microdissection coupled with RNA sequencing on dorsal root ganglion neurons at 0,3,6,and 12 hours and 1,3,and 7 days after sciatic nerve crush in *** identified three stages after dorsal root ganglion injury:early(3-12 hours),pre-regeneration(1 day),and regeneration(3-7 days).Gene expression patterns and related function enrichment res ults showed that one module of genes was highly related to axonal *** verified the up-regulation of activating transcription factor 3(Atf3),Kruppel like factor 6(Klf6),AT-rich inte raction domain 5A(Arid5α),CAMP responsive element modulator(Crem),and FOS like 1,AP-1 transcription factor Subunit(Fosl1) in dorsal root ganglion neurons after *** these transcription factors(Crem,Arid5o,Fosl1 and Klf6) reduced axonal regrowth in *** the hub transcription factor,Atf3 showed higher expression and activity at the preregeneration and regeneration stages.G protein-coupled estrogen receptor 1(Gper1),inte rleukin 12a(Il12α),estrogen receptor 1(ESR1),and interleukin 6(IL6) may be upstream factors that trigger the activation of Atf3 during the repair of axon injury in the early *** study presents the detailed molecular expression profile during axonal regeneration of dorsal root ganglion neurons after peripheral nerve *** findings may provide reference for the clinical screening of molecular targets for the treatment of peripheral nerve injury.

China is the global leader in rare earth （RE） production using hydrometallurgical processes. Advantageous extraction techniques of rare earths from Baotou mixed rare earth minerals, bastnaesite, and ion-adsorption clays of rare earth deposits have been developed in China. The separation and purification technologies have also achieved rapid development. The industrial application processes for rare earth hydrometallurgy were summarized in the present paper. With the large demands and rapid development of rare earths, the issues of resources and environment are more prominent. This review gives an overview of the main processes that were developed in the past toward greener hydrometallurgy of rare earths in China. Based on the development of the rare earth industry, comprehensive utilization and cleaner production should still be focused on in the future, to support the sustainable development.

The problem of imbalanced data classification learning has received much *** classification algorithms are susceptible to data skew to favor majority samples and ignore minority *** weighted minority oversampling technique(MWMOTE)is an effective approach to solve this problem,however,it may suffer from the shortcomings of inadequate noise filtering and synthesizing the same samples as the original minority *** this end,we propose an improved MWMOTE method named joint sample position based noise filtering and mean shift clustering(SPMSC)to solve these ***,in order to effectively eliminate the effect of noisy samples,SPMsC uses a new noise filtering mechanism to determine whether a minority sample is noisy or not based on its position and distribution relative to the majority *** that MWMOTE may generate duplicate samples,we then employ the mean shift algorithm to cluster minority samples to reduce synthetic replicate ***,data cleaning is performed on the processed data to further eliminate class *** on extensive benchmark datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of SPMsC compared with other sampling methods.

Fuzzy-ball working fluids(FBWFs)have been successfully applied in different development phases of tight *** reports revealed that FBWFs satisfactorily met all the operational and reservoir damage control requirements during their ***,the damage-control mechanisms and degree of formation damage caused by fuzzy-ball fluids have not been investigated in lab-scale studies so *** this study,the degree of fuzzy-ball-induced damage in single-and double-layer reservoirs was evaluated through core flooding experiments that were based on permeability and flow rate ***,its damage mechanisms were observed via scanning electron microscope and energy-dispersive spectroscopy *** results show that:(1)For single-layer reservoirs,the FBWF induced weak damage on coals and medium-to-weak damage on sandstones,and the difference of the damage in permeability or flow rate index on coals and sandstones is below 1%.Moreover,the minimum permeability recovery rate was above 66%.(2)For double-layer commingled reservoirs,the flow rate index revealed weak damage and the overall damage in double-layer was lower than the single-layer reservoirs.(3)There is no significant alteration in the microscopic structure of fuzzy-ball saturated cores with no evidence of fines *** dissolution of lead and sulfur occurred in coal samples,while tellurium in sandstone,aluminum,and magnesium in ***,the precipitation of aluminum,magnesium,and sodium occurred in sandstone but no precipitates found in coal and *** temporal plugging and dispersion characteristics of the FBWFs enable the generation of reservoir protection layers that will minimize formation damage due to solid and fluid invasion.

Recovery from injury to the peripheral nervous system is different from that of the central nervous system in that it can lead to gene reprogramming that can induce the expression of a series of regeneration-associated *** eventually leads to axonal regeneration of injured *** some regeneration-related genes have been identified,the regulatory network underlying axon regeneration remains largely *** explore the regulator of axon regeneration,we performed RNA sequencing of lumbar L4 and L5 dorsal root ganglion(DRG)neurons at different time points(0,3,6,12 hours,1,3 and 7 days)after rat sciatic nerve *** isolation of neurons was carried out by laser capture microscopy combined with NeuN immunofluorescence *** found 1228 differentially expressed genes in the injured sciatic nerve *** hub genes within these differentially expressed genes include Atf3,Jun,Myc,Ngf,Fgf2,Ezh2,Gfap and *** verified that the expression of the enhancer of zeste homologue 2 gene(Ezh2)was up-regulated in DRG neurons after injury,and this up-regulation differed between large-and small-sized dorsal root ganglion *** investigate whether the up-regulation of Ezh2 impacts axonal regeneration,we silenced Ezh2 with siRNA in cultured DRG neurons and found that the growth of the newborn axons was *** our investigation into the regulatory network of Ezh2 by interpretive phenomenal analysis,we found some regulators of Ezh2(including Erk,Il6 and Hif1a)and targets(including Atf3,Cdkn1a and Smad1).Our findings suggest that Ezh2,as a nerve regeneration-related gene,participates in the repair of the injured DRG neurons,and knocking down the Ezh2 in vitro inhibits the axonal growth of DRG *** the experimental procedures approved by the Administration Committee of Experimental Animals of Jiangsu Province of China(approval No.S20191201-201)on March 21,2019.

Creating pores in suprastructures of two-dimensional （2D） materials while controlling the orientation of the 2D building blocks is important in achieving large specific surface areas and tuning the anisotropic properties of the obtained functional hierarchical structures. In this contribution, we report that arranging graphitic carbon nitride （g-C3N4） nanosheets into one-dimensional （1D） architectures with controlled orientation has been achieved by using 1D oriented melem hydrate fibers as the synthetic precursor via a polycondensation process, during which the removal of water molecules and release of ammonia gas led to the creation of pores without destroying the 1D morphology of the oriented structures. The resulting porous g-C3N4 fibers with both meso- and micro-sized pores and largely exposed edges exhibited good sensing sensitivity and selectivity towards NO2. The sensing performance was further improved by hybridization of the porous fibers with Au nanoparticles （Au NPs）, leading to a detection limit of 60 ppb under ambient conditions. Our results suggest that the highly porous g-C3N4 fibers and the related hybrid structures with largely exposed graphitic layer edges are excellent sensing platforms and may also show promise in other electronic and electrochemical applications.

Expression of BC047440 protein in hepatocellular carcinoma and its relationship to prognosis

Background and Objective: BC047440 is a new gene related to cancer growth and proliferation. Due to the lack of specific antibodies, how BC047440 protein influences the liver cancer growth is unclear. This study aimed to determine the relationship between BC047440 protein expression and clinicopathologic parameters of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and to evaluate the prognostic value of BC047440 for HCC patients. Methods: We prepared the polyclonal antibodies of BC047440, and used Western blot and immunohistochemical staining to detect BC047440 expression in 68 specimens of HCC. The correlations of BC047440 expression to clinicopathologic features and prognosis of HCC patients were analyzed. Results: The polyclonal antibodies could effectively recognize endogenous BC047440 in HCC tissues. The positive rate of BC047440 protein was significantly higher in HCCs than in adjacent tissues (44.1% vs. 23.5%, P < 0.05); the rate was significantly higher in patients with larger tumor (P < 0.05) and portal vein invasion (P <0.01). The HCC patients with high BC047440 expression showed a significantly poorer prognosis than those with low BC047440 expression (P < 0.05). Conclusion: BC047440 can promote the growth and invasion of HCC.
