Investigation of mechanical and electrical characteristics of selfsensing pneumatic torsional actuators

Soft pneumatic actuators are one of the most promising actuation for soft robots,and great achievements have been *** it remains challenging to endow sensing capabilities to pneumatic actuators,especially for the sensing ability originating directly from the actuator ***,a self-sensing pneumatic torsional actuator(SPTA)is designed based on the electromagnetic induction effect and magnetically responsive *** SPTA can generate feedback voltage and current with the deformation,in which the sensing function comes from its inherent *** investigate the mechanical and electrical characteristics,an experimental platform and a finite element model are established,*** find that the torsion angle and output torque increase in nonlinear with the actuating *** maximum torsion angle is 66.35°,which is 84.34%of that for the actuator fabricated by pure *** maximum output torque(24.9 N mm)improves by 23.19%compared with the actuator made by pure *** regards the electrical characteristics,the maximum feedback voltage and current are 2.90μV and 29.50 nA when the SPTA is actuated by a pressure of−40 *** also demonstrate that the relationship between the torsion angle and the magnetic flux change is approximately ***,the number of turns of wires,magnetic powders contents,and magnetic direction on the feedback voltage and current are *** show that the feedback voltage and current can be enhanced by increasing the number of turns and magnetic powders *** envision that the SPTA would be promising for soft robots to realize their accuracy control and intelligentization.

Viscoelastic anticorrosive tape is extensively used for repairing anticorrosive layers on compressor outlet pipelines in the oil and gas ***,there is no relevant research on the coupling effect of temperature and vibration on the performance of viscoelastic anticorrosive *** this paper,acceleration tests of temperature and vibration coupling conditions were conducted to investigate the performance of viscoelastic anticorrosive *** temperature and vibration treatment,the specimens showed wide variance in thickness,and the adhesion and chemical soaking resistance of the tape was ***,the viscoelastic anticorrosive tape still showed high *** to theoretical calculations,the tested viscoelastic body can repair pipes with a maximum diameter of 903 ***,this viscoelastic anticorrosive tape is suitable for the compressor outlets of buried pipelines with diameters smaller than 903 *** research in this paper provides a method and basis for the selection of repairing materials for the anticorrosion coatings of compressor outlet pipelines.

Synthesis and anti-inflammatory-analgesic activity of 2',4'-difluoro-3-(carbamoyl)biphenyl-4-yl benzoates

Eighteen 2′,4′-difluoro-3-（carbamoyl）biphenyl-4-yl benzoates were synthesized from diflunisal in three steps with total yields from 72% to 86%. All compounds were identified by IR, 1^H NMR, MS and elemental analysis. The anti-inflammatory activity and analgesic activity for 18 compounds were evaluated. The preliminary assay results showed that compounds 4a and 4p exhibited potent anti-inflammatory-analgesic activity.

Interactions Between Effects of Estrogen Receptor Gene Polymorphisms on BMD and Experiences of the First Spermorrhea in Chinese Han Boys

Objective To study the interaction between polymorphisms of estrogen receptor （ER） gene and puberty on bone mineral density （BMD）. Methods One hundred and forty-six boys aged 13-17 years were divided into two groups according to their first sperrnorrhea. DNA was analyzed for Xba I and Pvu 1/genotypes by PCR-RFLP. BMD of the total body, forearm and lumbar spine was measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry （DXA）. The relationship between polymorphisms of ER gene and BMD in these two groups was analyzed. Results The BMD at all sites in the sperrnorrhea group was significantly higher than that in the un-sperrnorrhea group. The independent contribution of ER genotypes to BMD at two pubertal stages was analyzed after adjusting co-variables. In the un-sperrnorrhea group, the BMD at distal 1/10 and 1/3 forearm of those carrying pp genotype was significantly higher than that of the non-carries, whereas in the sperrnorrhea group BMD in those carrying the same genotype was significantly lower than that in the non-carriers. Similar results were obtained by haplotype analysis. Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that body weight, age and the first sperrnorrehea were the dominant determinants for BMD. BMD at forearm might be influenced by interaction between ER genotype and the first spermorrehea. Conclusion The polymorphisms of ER gene play a different role in BMD influenced by the first spermorrhea. Chinese boys carrying p or x allele should pay more attention to their bone mass.

Background：Clopidogrel low response （CLR） is an independent risk factor of adverse outcomes in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI）,and intensified antiplatelet treatments （IAT） guided by platelet function assays might overcome laboratory ***,whether IAT improves clinical outcomes is ***：Relevant trials were identified in PubMed,the Cochrane Library,and the Chinese Medical Journal Network databases from their establishment to September 9,*** were screened using predefined inclusion *** meta-analysis and cumulative meta-analysis were performed using the Review Manager 5.0 and STATA 12.0 software ***：Thirteen randomized controlled trials involving 5111 patients with CLR were *** a follow-up period of 1-12 months,the incidences of cardiovascular （CV） death,nonfatal myocardial infarction （MI）,and stent thrombosis were significantly lower in the IAT arm than in the conventional antiplatelet treatment arm （relative risk [RR] =0.45,95% confidence interval [CI]：0.36-0.57,P 〈 0.000,01）,whereas bleeding was similar between the two arms （RR =1.05,95% CI：0.86-1.27,P =0.65）.Conclusions：IAT guided by platelet function assays reduces the risk of CV death,nonfatal MI,and stent thrombosis （ST） without an increased risk of bleeding in patients undergoing PCI and with CLR.

Identification and functional analysis of CG3526 in spermatogenesis of Drosophila melanogaster

Spermatogenesis is a critical part of reproduction in insects;however,its molecular mechanism is still largely *** this study,we identified a testis-specific gene CG3526 in Drosophila *** analysis showed that CG3526 contains a zinc binding domain and 2 C2H2 type zinc fingers,and it is clustered to the vertebrate really interesting new gene(RING)family E3 ubiquitin-protein *** CG3526 was knocked down by RNA interference(RNAi),the testis became much smaller in size,and the apical tip exhibited a sharp and thin end instead of the blunt and round shape in the control *** importantly,compared to the control flies,only a few mature sperm were present in the seminal vesicle of C587-Gal4>CG3526 RNAi *** staining of the testis from CG3526 RNAi flies showed that the homeostasis of testis stem cell niche was disrupted,cell distribution in the apical tip was scattered,and the process of spermatogenesis was not ***,we found that the phenotype of CG3526 RNAi flies’testis was similar to that of testis of Stat92E RNAi flies,the expression level of CG3526 was significantly downregulated in the Stat92EF06346 mutant flies,and the promoter activity of CG3526 was upregulated by *** together,our results indicated that CG3526 is a downstream effector gene in the JAK-STAT signaling pathway that plays a key role in the spermatogenesis of Drosophila.

Prophylaxis with carnosol attenuates liver injury induced by intestinal ischemia/reperfusion

AIM： To investigate the possible protective effects of carnosol on liver injury induced by intestinal ischemia reperfusion （I/R）. METHODS： Rats were divided randomly into three experimental groups： sham, intestinal I/R and carnosol treatment （n = 18 each）. The intestinal I/R model was established by clamping the superior mesenteric artery for 1 h. In the carnosol treatment group, surgery was performed as in the intestinal I/R group, with intraperitoneal administration of 3 mg/kg carnosol 1 h before the operation. At 2, 4 and 6 h after reperfusion, rats were killed and blood, intestine and liver tissue samples were obtained. Intestine and liver histology was investigated. Serum levels of aspartate aminotransferase （AST）, alanine aminotransferase （ALT） and interleukin （IL）-6 were measured. Liver tissue superoxide dismutase （SOD） and myeloperoxidase （IvIPO） activity were assayed. The liver intercellular adhesion molecule-1 （ICAM-1） and nuclear factor κB （NF-κB） were determined by immunohistochemical analysis and western blot analysis. RESULTS： Intestinal I/R induced intestine and liver injury, characterized by histological changes, as well as a significant increase in serum AST and ALT levels. The activity of SOD in the liver tissue decreased after I/R, which was enhanced by carnosol pretreatment. In addition, compared with the control group, carnosol markedly reduced liver tissue MPO activity and serum IL-6 level, which was in parallel with the decreased level of liver ICAI-1 and NF-κB expression. CONCLUSION： Our results indicate that carnosol pretreatment attenuates liver injury induced by intestinal I/R, attributable to the antioxidant effect and inhibition of the NF-κB pathway.

Genetic source,migration and accumulation of helium under deep thermal fluid activities:A case study of Ledong diapir area in Yinggehai Basin,South China Sea

Based on the geochemical parameters and analytical data,the heat conservation equation,mass balance law,Rayleigh fractionation model and other methods were used to quantify the in-situ yield and external flux of crust-derived helium,and the initial He concentration and thermal driving mechanism of mantle-derived helium,in the Ledong Diapir area,the Yinggehai Basin,in order to understand the genetic source,migration and accumulation mechanisms of helium under deep thermal fluid *** average content of mantle-derived He is only 0.0014%,the ^(3)He/^(4)He value is(0.002–2.190)×10^(−6),and the R/Ra value ranges from 0.01 to 1.52,indicating the contribution of mantle-derived He is 0.09%–19.84%,while the proportion of crust-derived helium can reach over 80%.Quantitative analysis indicates that the crust-derived helium is dominated by external input,followed by in-situ production,in the Ledong diapir *** crust-derived helium exhibits an in-situ 4 He yield rate of(7.66–7.95)×10^(−13)cm^(3)/(a·g),an in-situ 4 He yield of(4.10–4.25)×10^(−4)cm^(3)/g,and an external 4 He influx of(5.84–9.06)×10^(−2)cm^(3)/*** results may be related to atmospheric recharge into formation fluid and deep rock-water *** ratio of initial mole volume of 3 He to enthalpy(W)is(0.004–0.018)×10^(−11) cm^(3)/J,and the heat contribution from the deep mantle(X_(M))accounts for 7.63%–36.18%,indicating that deep hot fluid activities drive the migration of mantle-derived 3 *** primary helium migration depends on advection,while the secondary migration is controlled by hydrothermal degassing and gas-liquid *** deep to shallow layers,the CO_(2/3) He value rises from 1.34×10^(9)to 486×10^(9),indicating large amount of CO_(2)has *** the influence of deep thermal fluid,helium migration and accumulation mechanisms include:deep heat driven diffusion,advection release,vertical hydrothermal degassing,shallow lateral migration,accumulation in traps far from faults,

This work explores a family of two-block nonconvex optimization problems subject to linear *** first introduce a simple but universal Bregman-style improved alternating direction method of multipliers(ADMM)based on the iteration framework of ADMM and the Bregman ***,we utilize the smooth performance of one of the components to develop a linearized version of *** to the traditional ADMM,both proposed methods integrate a convex combination strategy into the multiplier update *** each proposed method,we demonstrate the convergence of the entire iteration sequence to a unique critical point of the augmented Lagrangian function utilizing the powerful Kurdyka–Łojasiewicz property,and we also derive convergence rates for both the sequence of merit function values and the iteration ***,some numerical results show that the proposed methods are effective and encouraging for the Lasso model.
