Qualitative exploration of home life experiences and care needs among elderly patients with temporary intestinal stomas

A Johann-type X-ray spectrometer was successfully developed at the hard X-ray branch (in-vacuum undulator with a 24-mm periodic length) of the energy material beamline (E-line) at the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF). This spectrometer was utilized to implement X-ray emission spectroscopy (XES), high-energy resolution fluorescence-detected X-ray absorption spectroscopy (HERFD-XAS), and resonant inelastic X-ray scattering. Solution processability significantly advances the development of highly-efficient perovskite solar ***,the precursor solution tends to undergo irreversible degradation reactions,impairing the device performance and ***,we utilize a reductive natural amino acid,Nacetylcysteine(NALC),to stabilize the precursor solution for printable carbon-based hole-conductorfree mesoscopic perovskite solar *** find that I_(2) can be generated in the aged solution containing methylammonium iodide(MI) in an inert atmosphere and speed up the MA-FA^(+)(formamidinium) reaction which produces large-size cations and hinders the formation of perovskite *** effectively stabilizes the precursor via its sulfhydryl group which reduces I_(2) back to I^(-)and provides H^(+).The NALC-stabilized precursor which is aged for 1440 h leads to devices with a power conversion efficiency equivalent to 98% of that for devices prepared with the fresh ***,NALC improves the device power conversion efficiency from 16.16% to 18.41% along with enhanced stability under atmospheric conditions by modifying grain boundaries in perovskite films and reducing associated defects.

Topological superconductors(TSCs)have been widely investigated in recent years due to their novel physics and ability to host Majorana fermions(MFs)which are key to topological quantum *** the great interest,only a few compounds have been proposed as candidates of intrinsic TSCs,such as iron-based superconductor FeSe_(0.55)Te_(0.45) and 2M-WS_(2).Among them,quasi-one-dimensional superconductor TaSe_(3) possesses fascinating properties such as its simple stoichiometry,layered nature and chemical ***,using scanning tunneling microscope/spectroscopy(STM/STS),we systematically investigate the topography and electronic structure of TaSe_(3).Our STM/STS measurement reveals large atomically flat,defect-free surfaces suitable for the search of MF;electronic density of states consistent with our angle-resolved photoemission result and band-structure calculations,and a uniform superconducting gap with a typical size of∼0.25 ***,additional edge states are observed in the vicinity of the terrace edge,suggesting they may have a topological *** result proves the coexistence of superconductivity and topological electronic structure in TaSe_(3),making it an intriguing platform to investigate topological superconductivity.

Background: Idiosyncratic drug-induced liver injury(IDILI) is a serious side effect of drugs, Epimedii Folium(EF) is unequivocally implicated in idiosyncratic liver injury onset, potentially due to its ability to perturb the NOD-like receptor family pyrin domain containing 3(NLRP3) inflammasome. Fructus Ligustri Lucidi(FLL), a frequently used medicinal combination with EF, has not yet been investigated for its ability to ameliorate EF-associated hepatotoxicity. Aims and Objectives: Study on the mechanism of compatibility of FLL to alleviate liver injury caused by EF. Materials and Methods: Western blot was used to determine the expression of related proteins, ELISA was used to detect the secretion of related inflammatory factors IL-1β, IL-18, IL-6 and TNF-α, liver injury indexes were detected and liver pathological tissue staining was used to evaluate the liver injury. Results: Our results demonstrated that EF exerted a particular augmenting effect on the stimulation of the NLRP3 inflammasome mediated by nigericin or ATP, whereas FLL suppressed the NLRP3 inflammasome stimulation. Furthermore, an equal EF to FLL ratio significantly reduced the stimulatory effects of EF. Moreover, EF has the potential to induce hepatic injury and augment pro-inflammatory cytokine synthesis in rats subjected to LPS. However, when combined with FLL, the detrimental effects of EF were mitigated. Conclusions: FLL possesses the capacity to attenuate EF-associated hepatotoxicity by suppressing EF-triggered NLRP3 inflammasome activation. Thus, FLL holds promise for improving the clinical safety profile of EF, shedding light on the potential of compatibility and detoxification theories in traditional Chinese medicine.
