Biodiversity distribution patterns are a basic and long-standing but crucial aspect of ecology *** patterns form the primary source of data used to develop biodiversity protection practices,especially in mountain *** comprise one of the main types of vegetation on the Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau,where they serve vital ecological *** this study,we used a community phylogenetic approach to examine the distribution patterns of shrub communities along the longitudinal and latitudinal gradients on the northeastern Qinghai–Tibetan *** observed significant latitudinal trends in both the phylogenetic diversity(PD)and net relatedness index(NRI)values of shrub communities,such that the former decreased and the latter increased with increasing ***,no significant PD,NRI and nearest taxon index(NTI)distribution patterns were observed along a longitudinal gradient.A further analysis revealed that the combination of temperature-related and precipitation-related climate variables most strongly affected the PD,NRI and NTI values of shrub communities,indicating that the latitudinal patterns in the PD,NRI and NTI of a shrub community may be determined mainly by interactions with these climate factors.

A method is developed to calculate probability of collision. Based on geometric features of space objects during the encounter, it is reasonable to separate the radial orbital motions from those in the cross section for most encounter events that occur in a near-circular orbit. Therefore, the probability of collision caused by differences in both altitude of the orbit in the radial direction and the probability of collision caused by differences in arrival time in the cross section are calculated. The net probability of collision is expressed as an explicit expression by multiplying the above two components. Numerical cases are applied to test this method by comparing the results with the general method. The results indicate that this method is valid for most encounter events that occur in near-circular orbits.

We calculate the Casimir force at a finite cut-off A by summing the forces induced by the all fluctuation modes. We show that the Casimir force is independent of the cut-off function in the limit L∧ → ∞. There is a correction in the order of （L∧）^-2, when L∧ is finite and large. This correction becomes remarkable when L is comparable with the microscopic length scale ∧^-1. It has been demonstrated that the Casimir force at a finite cut-off should be defined by summing forces of all fluctuation modes, instead of the derivative of Casimir energy with respect to L where an additional derivative of the cut-off function has been introduced.

As an atomic emission spectroscopy technique, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), first proposed by Breech and Cross in 1962 [1], has attracted much academic and industrial interest for its unique properties. By focusing a pulsed laser onto the surface of a target, laser-induced plasmas can be generated. The simplicity of sample preparation of the laser ablation process enables LIBS to directly analyze solid, liquid, or gaseous materials in the atmosphere, making it a convenient tool for chemical analyses. The unique features of LIBS such as requiring little or no sample preparation, allowing remote detection, and facilitating multiple elemental analyses have contributed to its rapid development in recent years.

Aggregation-induced emission luminogens(AIEgens) have been used in biomacromolecules ***,TPE-dC and TPE-dU acted as the nucleoside-based AIEgens sensors in the first case,which can be used to detect ctDNA and rRNA in vitro and light up the nucleus in vivo depending on the intermolecular binding *** AIE process enables the quantitative analysis or visualization of nucleic acids in solution or gels state,***,confocal laser scanning microscopy(CLSM) images of L929 cells stained with TPE-dC or TPE-dU clearly shows that nucleoside-based AIEgens bio-probes can pass the cell membranes to reach the cell nucleus,without cytotoxicity at the imaging condition(incubation time> 12 h,and 10 μmol/L of concentration).Since the nucleus is rich in DNA/RNA,fluorescence turn-on mode has a great potential in nucleus imaging and clinical diagnosis.

One-dimensional nanostructures(1D)with short ion diffusion distance and fast ion transport path are excellent for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs). However, the nature of layered transition metal dichalcogenides makes it difficult to form 1D nanohybrids. Here, the MoTe_(2) nanorods with an average diameter of 100-200 nm and length of 1-3 μm encapsulated by reduced graphene oxide(MoTe_(2)/rGO) have been fabricated via in-situ reaction of GO coated Mo_3O_(10)(C_(2)H_(10)N_(2)) nanowires with Te under Ar/H_(2) atmosphere. When applied as anode of LIBs, the Mo Te_(2)/r GO delivers a high reversible capacity(637 m A h g^(-1) after 100 cycles at 0.2 A g^(-1)), good rate capability(374 m A h g^(-1) at 2 A g^(-1)) and excellent stability(360 m A h g^(-1) after 200 cycles at 0.5 A g^(-1)), which surpasses bare Mo Te2 nanorods and bulk Mo Te2 crystallite. Furthermore, a lithium-ion full cell constructed by coupling Mo Te2/r GO anode and LiCoO_(2) cathode shows a capacity of 105 m A h g^(-1) at 0.1 C. The enhanced performance mainly benefits from the advantages of 1D nanostructure, and meanwhile the r GO thin layers are able to improve the conductivity and maintain the structural stability. This work provides a simple pathway for the synthesis of 1D TMDs nanostructures for energy storage and conversion.

Objective:To investigate changes of myeloid differentiation factor 2(MD2)in inflammation-induced pain and acupuncture-mediated ***:Mice were randomly divided into three groups by a random number table method:saline group(n=16),complete Freund's adjuvant(CFA)group(n=24)and CFA+electroacupuncture(EA)group(n=26).Inflammation-induced pain was modelled by injecting CFA to the plantar surface of the hind paw of mice and EA was applied to bilateral Zusanli(ST 36)to alleviate *** mice in the CFA+EA group received EA treatment(30 min/d for 2 weeks)24 h after *** in the saline and CFA groups received sham ***-Frey test and Hargreaves test were used to assess the pain *** and spinal tissues were collected for immunofluorescence staining or Western blotting to quantify changes of MD2 ***:CFA successfully induced plantar pain and EA significantly alleviated pain 3 days after modelling(Pluorescence intensity of MD2 neurons were also significantly increased in laminae Ⅰ-Ⅱ。(Plum,or the brainstem(P>0.05).Fluorescence staining showed significant decrease in the level of MD2 in periagueductal gray(PAG)and locus coeruleus(LC)after CFA injection on day 7(Plusion:The unique changes of MD2 suggest that EA may exert the analgesic effect through modulating neuronal activities of the superficial laminae of the spinal cord and certain regions
