Poly(lactide acid)(PLA)foams have shown considerable promise as eco-friendly alternatives to nondegradable plastic foams,such as polystyrene(PS)***,PLA foam typically suffers from low heat-resistance and poor cellular structure stemming from its inherent slow crystallization rate and low melt *** this study,a high-performance PLA foam with well-defined cell morphology,exceptional strength and enhanced heat-resistance was successfully fabricated via a core-back microcellular injection molding(MIM)*** scanning calorimetry(DSC)results revealed that the added hydrazine-based nucleating agent(HNA)significantly increased the crystallization temperature and accelerated the crystallization process of ***,the addition of a 1.5 wt%of HNA led to a significant reduction in PLA’s cell size,from 43.5µm to 2.87µm,and a remarkable increase in cell density,from 1.08×10^(7)cells/cm^(3)to 2.15×10^(10)cells/cm^(3).This enhancement resulted in a final crystallinity of approximately 55.7%for the PLA blend foam,a marked improvement compared to the pure PLA ***,at 1.5 wt%HNA concentration,the tensile strength and tensile toughness of PLA blend foams demonstrated remarkable improvements of 136%and 463%,***,the Vicat softening temperature of PLA blend foam increased significantly to 134.8°C,whereas the pure PLA foam exhibited only about 59.7℃.These findings underscore the potential for the preparation of lightweight injection-molded PLA foam with enhanced toughness and heat-resistance,which offers a viable approach for the production of high-performance PLA foams suitable for large-scale applications.

Developing new polymeric semiconductors with excellent device performance is essential for organic electronics. Herein, we synthesized two new thiazoloisoindigo(Tz II)-based polymers, namely, P(Tz II-d Th-d Th) and P(Tz II-d Th-d Tz), by copolymerizing thiophene-flanked Tz II with bithiophene and bithiazole, respectively. Owing to the more electron-deficient nature of bithiazole than bithiophene, P(Tz II-d Th-d Tz)possesses deeper LUMO/HOMO levels of-3.45/-5.47 e V than P(Tz II-d Th-d Th)(-3.34/-5.32 e V). The organic field-effect transistor(OFET) devices based on P(Tz II-d Th-d Th) exhibited p-type behaviors with an average hole mobility value as high as 1.43 cm^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1), while P(Tz II-d Th-d Tz)showed typical ambipolar characteristics with average hole and electron mobilities of 0.38 and 0.56 cm^(2)·V^(-1)·s^(-1). In addition, we compared the performances of both polymers with other Tz II-based polymers reported in our previous work, and showed that the charge carrier polarity can be manipulated by adjusting the number of the thiophene units between the acceptor unit. As the increase of the number of thiophene rings,charge carrier polarity shifts from electron-dominated ambipolar transport to hole-dominated ambipolar transport and then to unipolar hole transport in OFETs, which provides an effective molecular design strategy for further optimization of polymer OFET performance.

Quasi-solid-state lithium metal batteries(QSSLMBs)assembled with polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)are a promising class of next-generation rechargeable batteries due to their safety,high energy density,and superior interfacial ***,PVDF has a series of inherent drawbacks such as low ionic conductivity,ease of crystallization,and hydrophobic character that leading to poor cell *** tackle these issues,a lignin-reinforced PVDF electrolyte is proposed in this work to solve these drawbacks of PVDF and enhance the comprehensive performance of *** lithophilic polar groups of lignin can promote uniform deposition of Li on the *** with the improved mechanical properties can efficiently prevent Li dendrites penetration through the *** addition,more active sites provided by lignin can also enhance Li^(+)transport and lead to a faster electrochemical reaction *** from the ingenious design,Li symmetric cells with 5%lignin-PVDF quasi-solid-state electrolyte can operate for 900 h at a high current density/capacity of 5 mA·cm^(-2)/5 mAh·cm^(-2),while shortcircuiting occurs after 56 h for the counterpart(pure PVDF).Moreover,a full cell of Li/5%lignin-PVDF/LFP cell demonstrates a high capacity of 96.2 mAh·g^(-1)after 2000 cycles at 10 *** work is expected to open up promising opportunities to develop other high-energy/power-density QSSLMBs.

Dynamic Economic Emission Dispatch(DEED)aims to optimize control over fuel cost and pollution emission,two conflicting objectives,by scheduling the output power of various units at specific *** many methods well-performed on the DEED problem,most of them fail to achieve expected results in practice due to a lack of effective trade-off mechanisms between the convergence and diversity of non-dominated optimal dispatching *** address this issue,a new multi-objective solver called Multi-Objective Golden Jackal Optimization(MOGJO)algorithm is proposed to cope with the DEED *** proposed algorithm first stores non-dominated optimal solutions found so far into an ***,it chooses the best dispatching solution from the archive as the leader through a selection mechanism designed based on elite selection strategy and Euclidean distance index *** mechanism can guide the algorithm to search for better dispatching solutions in the direction of reducing fuel costs and pollutant ***,the basic golden jackal optimization algorithm has the drawback of insufficient search,which hinders its ability to effectively discover more Pareto *** this end,a non-linear control parameter based on the cosine function is introduced to enhance global exploration of the dispatching space,thus improving the efficiency of finding the optimal dispatching *** proposed MOGJO is evaluated on the latest CEC benchmark test functions,and its superiority over the state-of-the-art multi-objective optimizers is highlighted by performance ***,empirical results on 5-unit,10-unit,IEEE 30-bus,and 30-unit systems show that the MOGJO can provide competitive compromise scheduling solutions compared to published DEED ***,in the analysis of the Pareto dominance relationship and the Euclidean distance index,the optimal dispatching solutions provided by MOGJO are the closest to the ideal solutions for minimizing fuel costs

APFA:Ameliorated Pathfinder Algorithm for Engineering Applications

Pathfinder algorithm(PFA)is a swarm intelligent optimization algorithm inspired by the collective activity behavior of swarm animals,imitating the leader in the population to guide followers in finding the best food *** algorithm has the characteristics of a simple structure and high ***,PFA faces challenges such as insufficient population diversity and susceptibility to local optima due to its inability to effectively balance the exploration and exploitation *** paper proposes an Ameliorated Pathfinder Algorithm called APFA to solve complex engineering optimization ***,a guidance mechanism based on multiple elite individuals is presented to enhance the global search capability of the ***,to improve the exploration efficiency of the algorithm,the Logistic chaos mapping is introduced to help the algorithm find more high-quality potential solutions while avoiding the worst ***,a comprehensive following strategy is designed to avoid the algorithm falling into local optima and further improve the convergence *** three strategies achieve an effective balance between exploration and exploitation overall,thus improving the optimization performance of the *** performance evaluation,APFA is validated by the CEC2022 benchmark test set and five engineering optimization problems,and compared with the state-of-the-art metaheuristic *** numerical experimental results demonstrated the superiority of APFA.

AIM： To explore the effect and significance of inhibitor of growth 1 （ING1） gene in carcinogenesis and progression of human sporadic colorectal cancer. METHODS： mRNA expression, mutation, and loss of heterozygosity （LOH） of ING1 gene in 35 specimens of sporadic colorectal cancer tissues and the matched normal mucous membrane tissues were detected by semi-quantitative reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction （RT-PCR）, PCR-single strain conformation polymorphism （PCR-SSCP） and PCR-simple sequence length polymorphism （PCR-SSLP） using microsatellite markers, respectively. RESULTS： The average ratios of light intensities of p33^ING1b and p47^ING1a mRNA expression in the cancerous tissues were significantly lower than those in normal tissues. The difference between the two mRNA splices was not significant in the matched tissues. In addition, the ratios of light intensities of p33^ING1b and p47^ING1a mRNA expression in the cancerous tissues of Dukes＇ stages C and D were significantly lower than those in cancerous tissues of Dukes＇ stages A and B. However, no mutation of ING1 gene was detected in all 35 cases; only 4 cases of LOH （11.4%） were found. CONCLUSION： p33^ING1b and p47^ING1a mRNA expressions are closely related with the carcinogenesis and progression of human sporadic colorectal cancer. No mutation of ING1 gene is found, and there are only few LOH in sporadic colorectal cancers. These might not be the main reasons for the down regulation of ING1 expression. Its low expression may happen in transcription or post-transcription.

In this study,we aimed to assess the effect of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection on *** study comprised 110 sperm volunteers who self-reported SARS-CoV-2 infection from the Human Sperm Bank ofthe Center for Reproductive Medicine,Shandong University(Jinan,China).The volunteers had normal sperm concentration *** volunteer provided semen samples before and after *** selected 90 days after infection as the cutoff *** parameters within 90 days after infection of 109 volunteers(group A)were compared with semen parameters before ***,semen parameters on or after 90 days after infection of 36 volunteers(group B)were compared with semen parameters ***,based on whether the volunteers had completed the three-dose SARS-CoV-2 vaccination booster,volunteersin group A and B were further divided into two subgroups *** parameters were compared before and after infection ineach *** results showed that in this cohort population,the semen quality in volunteers with normal sperm concentrationsbefore infection decreased after SARS-CoV-2 infection within 90 days,while the semen quality returned to preinfection levels after *** completion of a three-dose SARS-CoV-2 vaccination booster may exert a protective effect on semen quality after infection.

The vehicle-to-grid(V2G)technology enables the bidirectional power flow between electric vehicle(EV)batteries and the power grid,making EV-based mobile energy storage an appealing supplement to stationary energy storage ***,the stochastic and volatile charging behaviors pose a challenge for EV fleets to engage directly in multi-agent *** unlock the scheduling potential of EVs,this paper proposes a source-load-storage cooperative low-carbon scheduling strategy considering V2G *** uncertainty of EV charging patterns is managed through a rolling-horizon control framework,where the scheduling and control horizons are adaptively adjusted according to the availability periods of ***,a Minkowski-sum based aggregation method is employed to evaluate the scheduling potential of aggregated EV fleets within a given scheduling *** method effectively reduces the variable dimension while preserving the charging and discharging constraints of individual ***,a Nash bargaining based cooperative scheduling model involving a distribution system operator(DSO),an EV aggregator(EVA),and a load aggregator(LA)is established to maximize the social welfare and improve the low-carbon performance of the *** model is solved by the alternating direction method of multipliers(ADMM)algorithm in a distributed manner,with privacy of participants fully *** proposed strategy is proven to achieve the objective of low-carbon economic operation.
