Zircon U–Pb Ages and Lu–Hf Isotope of the Dongchuan Group in Central Yunnan, China, and their Geological Significance

On the southwestern margin of the Yangtze Block, the Dongchuan Group consists of slightly metamorphosed sedimentary rocks, including silty slate, argillaceous slate, clayey slate, arkose, dolomite, and minor volcanic rocks. To date, it is still a controversy over the depositional age and stratigraphic sequence of the Dongchuan Group. In this study, we analyzed five samples of meta-sedimentary rocks and one sample of meta-tuff from the Yinmin, Luoxue and Etouchang Formations of the Dongchuan Group in the Yuxi region for detrital zircon U-Pb ages and Lu-Hf isotope. The detrital zircon ages of the meta-sediments vary from 3073 to 1703 Ma, mainly clustered at three periods, from 1889 to 1840, 2490 to 2008 and 2878 to 2844 Ma. The youngest age peak of all the samples is ~1859 Ma, with the εHf(t) values of the zircons ranging from-20.3 to +4.3 and more than 90% being negative, indicating that the Paleoproterozoic crustal accretion on the southwestern margin of the Yangtze Block was dominated by reworking of the ancient crustal materials involved in the assembly and breakup of the Columbia supercontinent. Another important age range is between 2490 Ma and 2008 Ma, with εHf(t) values from-14.7 to +8.9 and 70% of them are negative, suggesting that the magmatism in the source area was also dominated by reworking and recycling of the ancient crustal materials, with minor juvenile mantle substances added. The detritus was probably derived from the Paleoproterozoic crystalline basement in the southern Yuxi region. The oldest peak age is ~2847 Ma and the εHf(t) values are from-7.7 to +7.0 with 50% of both positive and negative values, demonstrating a possible ~2.85 Ga ancient continental nucleus on the southwestern margin of the Yangtze Block and substantial growth in juvenile crust materials during this period. Exploring the mechanism of hirudin in the treatment of diabetic kidney disease using network pharmacology combined with molecular docking verification

OBJECTIVE:To explore the mechanism of hirudin in the treatment of diabetic kidney disease(DKD).METHOD:Cytoscape software was used to analyze the network between hirudin targets and active components in the treatment of *** biological function and mechanism of effective targets of hirudin for DKD treatment were analyzed by the Database for Annotation,Visualization and Integrated Discovery(DAVID)*** docking technology was used to simulate the docking of key targets,and the DKD rat model was used to verify the first 4 key targets with high"Hydrogen number"among the top 10 targets verified by molecular ***:Total of 12334 DKD targets were screened in Gene Cards,OMIM and other databases,Hirudin and DKD had 247 common target genes,and the protein interaction network got 2115 *** DAVID database was used for the Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes enrichment analysis,confirming that hirudin in treatment of DKD involves multiple signaling pathways such as the forkhead box O signaling pathway,the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-protein kinase B signaling pathway,the vascular endothelial-derived growth factor signaling pathway and other signaling *** top ten key targets of hirudin in treatment of DKD were verified by molecular *** experiments showed that hirudin could decrease the expression of caspase-3 in renal tissue of DKD rats,and increase the expression of RAC-alpha serine/threonineprotein kinase,Catalase,and Heat shock protein HSP 90-alpha in renal tissue of DKD ***:This study preliminarily reveals that hirudin treats DKD through multiple targets and pathways,and molecular docking and animal experiments indicates the feasibility of this *** may be directly or indirectly involved in the regulation of cell metabolism,oxidative stress and other mechanisms in the treatment of DKD,which will lay the foundation for future molecular biological experiments of hirudin in the treatme

Corrosion Evolution of High-Strength Aluminum Alloys in the Simulated Service Environment of Amphibious Aircraft in the Presence of Chloride and Bisulfite

The corrosion evolution of 2024-T351 and 7075-T651 aluminum alloys in the thin electrolyte layer(TEL)and wet-dry alternating cycle(WDAC)environment is studied in this *** results show that in the TEL environment,the competitive effect between H+that accelerates corrosion reactions and deposition of aluminum sulfate that impedes corrosion attacks exists during the corrosion *** difference is that with increasing HSO_(3)^(-),subsurface intergranular corrosion on 2024-T351 is promoted to form exfoliation corrosion eventually and the degree of exfoliation corrosion begins to decrease because the blocking effect of aluminum sulfate exceeds the expediting effect of H+.For 7075-T651,the corrosion area and the corrosion diameter decrease gradually,which is attributed to the HSO_(3)^(-)-enhanced deposition of corrosion products and their blocking *** the WDAC environment,the corrosion processes of 2024-T351 and 7075-T651 are the acidic dissolution of the matrix during the soaking *** the HSO_(3)^(-)concentration is high enough(0.1 M),the inhibiting effect of aluminum sulfate becomes the dominant factor.

Diversity and Geographical Pattern of Altitudinal Belts in the Hengduan Mountains in China

This paper analyses the diversity and spatial pattern of the altitudinal belts in the Hengduan Mountains in China. A total of 7 types of base belts and 26 types of altitudinal belts are identified in the study region. The main altitudinal belt lines, such as forest line, the upper limit of dark coniferous forest and snow line, have similar latitudinal and longitudinal spatial patterns, namely, arched quadratic curve model with latitudes and concave quadratic curve model along longitudinal direction. These patterns can be together ealled as ＂Hyperbolic-paraboloid model＂, revealing the complexity and speciality of the environment and ecology in the study region. This result further validates the hypnosis of a common quadratic model for spatial pattern of mountain altitudinal belts proposed by the authors. The spatial pattern of altitudinal belts is closely related with moisture-related exposure effect in the Hengduan Mountains. Different combinations （spectra） of altitudinal belts and different base belt types appear in windward and leeward flanks and even in the same flanks of different ranges. This is closely related with the parallel mountain ranges of the Hengduan Mountains, which, at nearly right angle with the moving direction of prevailing moisture-laden air masses from west and east, hold up the warm and humid monsoon wind from moving into the core region and result in different moisture conditions in windward and leeward flanks. However, how to quantitatively describe the moisture-related exposure effect needs further study. In addition, the data quality and data accuracy at present also affect to some extent the result of quantitative modeling and should be improved with RS/GIS in the future.

Synthesis, Characterization and Application of Methyl 3,5-Disulfo-benzoate Dipotassium Dihydrate as Nucleating Agent for Poly（L-lactide）

A newly synthesized aromatic sulfonate compound,complex 2 with formula of K2[H3COOC-C6H3（SO3）2]·2H2O（methyl 3,5-disulfo-benzoate dipotassium dihydrate） was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis,infrared（IR） spectrometry,nuclear magnetic resonance（NMR） and crystal structure ***-crystal X-ray diffraction（XRD） revealed that complex 2 crystallized in the triclinic system with space group P（i）.Complex 2 was used as nucleating agent for poly（L-lactide）（PLLA）.The crystallization of PLLA with powder of complex 2 was investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry（DSC） and polarized optical microscopy （POM）.The results prove that complex 2 was effective as nucleating agent for *** could accelerate crystallization by reducing the induction time and increasing the density of nuclei in the crystallization *** half-time of crystallization（t0.5） for pure PLLA was about 8 times longer than that of PLLA sample with 1.0％（mass fraction） of complex 2.

Ar Pressure Dependence of the Properties of Molybdenum-doped ZnO Films Grown by RF Magnetron Sputtering

Transparent conducting oxide film of molybdenum-doped zinc oxide （MZO） with high transparency and relatively low resistivity was prepared by RF （radio frequency） magnetron sputtering at room temperature. The structural, electrical, and optical properties of the films deposited under different Ar pressure were *** （X-ray diffraction） patterns show that the nature of the films is polycrystalline with a hexagonal structure and a preferred orientation along the c-axis. The resistivity increases as Ar pressure increases. The lowest range exceeds 88% for all the samples. The optical band gap decreases from 3.27 to 3.15 eV with increasing Ar pressure from 0.6 to 3.0 Pa.

Tailoring Anti-Impact Properties of Ultra-High Performance Concrete by Incorporating Functionalized Carbon Nanotubes

Replacing micro-reinforcing fibers with carbon nanotubes(CNTs)is beneficial for improving the impact properties of ultra-high performance concrete(UHPC);however,the weak wettability and dispersibility of CNTs and the weakly bonded interface between CNTs and UHPC limit their effectiveness as ***,this study aims to enhance the reinforcement effect of CNTs on the impact properties of UHPC via *** ordinary CNTs,functionalized CNTs with carboxyl or hydroxyl groups can break the Si-O-Ca-O-Si coordination bond in the C-S-H gel and form a new network in the UHPC matrix,effectively inhibiting the dislocation slip inside UHPC ***,functionalized CNTs,particularly carboxyl-fu nctionalized CNTs,co ntrol the crystallization process and microscopic morphology of the hydration products,significantly decreasing and even eliminating the width of the aggregate-matrix interface transition zone of the ***,the functionalized CNTs further decrease the attraction of the negatively charged silicate tetrahedron to Ca2+in the C-S-H gel,while modifying the pore structure(particularly the nanoscale pore structure)of UHPC,leading to the expansion of the intermediate CS-H *** changes in the microstructures of UHPC brought about by the functionalized CNTs significantly enhance its dynamic compressive strength,peak strain,impact toughness,and impact dissipation energy at strain rates of 200-800 s^(-1).Impact performance of UHPC containing a small amount of carboxyl-functionalized CNTs(especially the short ones)is generally better than that of UHPC containing hydroxyl-functionalized and ordinary CNTs;it is even superior to that of UHPC with a high steel fiber content.

Progress in humanity has intensified the demand for efficient and renewable energy storage,which warrants the development of advanced rechargeable batteries such as lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),sodium-ion batteries(SIBs),zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs),and lithium-sulfur batteries(Li-S batteries).Nevertheless,these batteries still suffer from certain limitations,such as the insufficient capacity and inferior stability in their electrode ***,developing a feasible electrode material for Li/Na/Zn ion storage represents a critical ***,polyoxovanadates(POVs)materials,particularly decavanadate anion(V_(10)O_(28))^(6-)clusters,have attracted considerate attention as promising battery electrodes,due to their rich multi-electron redox process,high structural stability,simple preparation process,and abundant ligand *** this review,we provide an overview of the research progress of(V_(10)O_(28))^(6-)-based materials in various metal-ion battery systems,including LIBs,SIBs,ZIBs,and Li-S *** also discuss the underlying challenges associated with this type of materials,and we provide alternative strategies to overcome these *** review aims to facilitate the research and development of the nextgeneration(V_(10)O_(28))^(6-)-based battery materials.

Objective/Background:Proliferation is a widely recognized trigger for pulmonary hypertension(PH),a life-threatening,progressive disorder of pulmonary blood *** study was aimed to identify some proliferation associated genes/targets for better comprehension of PH ***:Human pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells(hPASMCs)were cultured in the presence or absence of human recombinant platelet derived growth factor(rhPDGF)-*** were collected for metabolomics or transcriptomics *** profiling of lungs of PH rats after hypoxia exposure or of PH patients were retrieved from GEO ***:90 metabolites(VIP score>1,fold change>2 orhange>2 or<0.5 and p<.05).152 differentially expressed MAGs were then determined,out of which 9 hub genes(IL6,CXCL8,CCL2,CXCR4,CCND1,PLAUR,PLAU,HBEGF and F3)were defined as core proliferation associated hub genes in protein proten interaction *** addition,the hub gene-based LASSO model can predict the occurrence of PH(AUC=0.88).The expression of CXCR4,as one of the hub genes,was positively correlated to immune cell ***:Our findings revealed some key proliferation associated genes in PH,which provide the crucial information concerning complex metabolic reprogramming and inflammatory modulation in response to proliferation signals and might offer therapeutic gains for PH.
