MY late grandmother was one of the last generation of women who had bound feet. In the beginning of this century, she was born in a small remote village inhabited by the Mongol and Han nationalities. The effects of Y_(2)O_(3) on the microstructure, microhardness, wear resistance, high-temperature oxidation resistance, hot corrosion resistance, and electrochemical corrosion behaviour of CoCrFeNiTiNb high entropy alloy coatings formed on Ti-6Al-4V alloy surfaces were studied. The results show that the addition of Y_(2)O_(3) changes the proportion of the phase but does not change its type. The average grain size is only 1/4.7 of that of the high entropy alloy(HEA) coating, and the fine-grained strengthening leads to increases in the microhardness and wear resistance of 21.8% and 26.9%, respectively. The addition of Y_(2)O_(3) enhances the denseness and bonding properties of the oxide and corrosion product layers, reducing the oxidation and hot corrosion rates by 60.3% and 40.3%, respectively. The addition of Y_(2)O_(3) doubles the corrosion resistance which is attributed to the refinement of the grains, the increased proportion of HCP and TiN, and the weakening of galvanic coupling corrosion.

Norovirus(NoV)is regarded as one of the most common causes of foodborne diarrhea in the *** is urgent to identify the pathogenic microorganism of the diarrhea in short *** this work,we developed an electrochemical and colorimetric dual-mode detection for NoV based on the excellent dual catalytic properties of copper peroxide/COF-NH_(2)nanocomposite(CuO_(2)@COF-NH_(2)).For the colorimetric detection,NoV can be directly detected by the naked eye based on CuO_(2)@COF-NH_(2)as a laccase-like nonazyme using“peptide-NoV-antibody”recognition *** colorimetric assay displayed a wide and quality linear detection range from 1 copy/mL to 5000 copies/mL of NoV with a low limit of detection(LOD)of 0.125 copy/*** the electrochemical detection of NoV,CuO_(2)@COF-NH_(2)showed an oxidation peak of copper ion from Cu^(+)to Cu^(2+)using“peptide-NoV-antibody”recognition *** electrochemical assay showed a linear detection range was 1-5000 copies/mL with a LOD of 0.152 copy/***'s worthy to note that this assay does not need other electrical signal molecule,which provide the stable and sensitive electrochemial detection for *** electrochemical and colorimetric dual-mode detection was used to detect NoV in foods and faceal samples,which has the potential for improving food safety and diagnosing of NoV-infected diarrhea.

BACKGROUND Appendiceal intussusception is a pathological condition in which the appendix is inverted into the cecum,which may cause symptoms that resemble those of other gastrointestinal disorders and may induce intestinal *** rarity of this case presentation is the co-occurrence of appendiceal intussusception and cecal adenocarcinoma,a combination that to our knowledge has not previously been reported in the medical *** case provides new insights into the complexities of diagnosing and managing overlapping *** SUMMARY A 25-year-old woman presented with persistent periumbilical pain and bloody *** initial biopsy showed cecal cancer;however,subsequent colonoscopy and computed tomography findings raised the suspicion of appendiceal intussus-ception,which was later confirmed *** unique case was charac-terized by a combination of intussusception and adenocarcinoma of the *** intervention included a laparoscopic right hemicolectomy,which led to the histopathological diagnosis of mucinous adenocarcinoma with appendiceal *** patient recovered well postoperatively and was advised to initiate adjuvant *** case highlights not only the importance of considering appendiceal intussusception in the differential diagnosis,but also the possibility of appendicitis and the atypical presentation of neoplastic *** Physicians should consider the possibility of appendiceal intussusception in cases of atypical appendicitis,particularly when associated with neoplastic presentation.

The Effect and Mechanism of Fructus lycii on Improvement of Exercise Fatigue Using a Network Pharmacological Approach with in vitro Experimental Verification

Objective This study aimed to investigate the effect and underlying mechanism of Fructus lycii in improving exercise *** A network pharmacological approach was used to explore potential mechanisms of action of Fructus *** muscle C2C12 cells and immunofluorescence were employed to verify the effect and mechanism of the representative components in Fructus lycii predicted by network pharmacological *** Six potential active components,namely quercetin,β-sitosterol,stigmasterol,7-Omethylluteolin-6-C-beta-glucoside_qt,atropine,and glycitein,were identified to have potency in improving exercise fatigue via multiple pathways,such as the PI3K-Akt,neuroactive ligand-receptor interaction,IL-17,TNF,and MAPK signaling *** immunofluorescence results indicated that quercetin,a significant active component in Fructus lycii,increased the mean staining area of 2-NBDG,TMRM,and MitoTracker,and decreased the area of CellRox compared to the ***,the protein expression levels of p-38 MAPK,p-MAPK,p-JNK,p-PI3K,and p-AKT markedly increased after quercetin *** Fructus lycii might alleviate exercise fatigue through multiple components and *** these,quercetin appears to improve exercise fatigue by enhancing energy metabolism and reducing oxidative *** PI3K-AKT and MAPK signaling pathways also appear to play a role in this process.
