Tip-enhanced Raman spectrum(TERS) is a scanning probe technique for acquiring chemical information at high spatial resolution and with high chemical sensitivity. The sensitivity of TERS with atomic force microscopy(AFM) system is mainly determined by the metalized tips. Here, we report a fabrication protocol for AFM-TERS tips that incorporate a copper(Cu) primer film between a gold(Au) layer and a Si AFM tip. They were fabricated by coating the Si tip with a 2 nm Cu layer prior to adding a 20 nm Au layer. For top illumination TERS experiments, these tips exhibited superior TERS performance relative to that observed for tips coated with Au only. Samples included graphene, thiophenol and brilliant cresyl blue. The results may derive from the surface roughness of the tip apex and a Cu/Au synergism of local surface plasmon resonances.

Design Method of an Ocean Induction Coupling Chain Communication System that Resists the Multipath Effect of a Seawater Channel

In this study,a mathematical model of multipath channels is established,and the delay parameters of 10-path models are calculated at 300 m.A multipath-channel hardware simulator based on a field programmable gate array(FPGA)is designed and verified at 100 k Hz,200 k Hz,500 k Hz,1 MHz,and 24 MHz transmission *** to the characteristics of the ocean induction coupling chain channel,the orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing(OFDM)algorithm parameters are designed by referring to the wireless communication *** appropriate length cyclic prefix(CP)is added in the OFDM symbol to resist the multipath effect of the seawater channel,and the FPGA hardware transceiver based on the OFDM algorithm is *** hardware platform of the ocean induction coupling chain communication system is developed to resist the multipath effect of the seawater channel and tested at 24 *** experimental results show that 800 ns is the best CP length for the developed system,which can effectively resist the multipath effect,with a signal-to-noise ratio above 24 d B and a bit error rate below 1%.This study provides a hardware simulation test platform and an effective method to resist the multipath effect of a seawater channel and improve the transmission performance of the seawater channel.

It is well known that the Cauchy problem for Laplace equations is an ill-posed problem in Hadamard’s *** deviations in Cauchy data may lead to large errors in the *** is observed that if a bound is imposed on the solution,there exists a conditional stability *** gives a reasonable way to construct stable ***,it is impossible to have good results at all points in the *** numerical methods for Cauchy problems for Laplace equations have been widely studied for quite a long time,there are still some unclear points,for example,how to evaluate the numerical solutions,which means whether they can approximate the Cauchy data well and keep the bound of the solution,and at which points the numerical results are reliable?In this paper,the authors will prove the conditional stability estimate which is quantitatively related to harmonic *** harmonic measure can be used as an indicate function to pointwisely evaluate the numerical result,which further enables us to find a reliable subdomain where the local convergence rate is higher than a certain order.

To improve the computational efficiency and accuracy of multi-objective reliability estimation for aerospace engineering structural systems,the Intelligent Vectorial Surrogate Modeling(IVSM)concept is presented by fusing the compact support region,surrogate modeling methods,matrix theory,and Bayesian optimization *** this concept,the compact support region is employed to select effective modeling samples;the surrogate modeling methods are employed to establish a functional relationship between input variables and output responses;the matrix theory is adopted to establish the vector and cell arrays of modeling parameters and synchronously determine multi-objective limit state functions;the Bayesian optimization strategy is utilized to search for the optimal hyperparameters for *** this concept,the Intelligent Vectorial Neural Network(IVNN)method is proposed based on deep neural network to realize the reliability analysis of multi-objective aerospace engineering structural systems *** multioutput response function approximation problem and two engineering application cases(i.e.,landing gear brake system temperature and aeroengine turbine blisk multi-failures)are used to verify the applicability of IVNN *** results indicate that the proposed approach holds advantages in modeling properties and simulation *** efforts of this paper can offer a valuable reference for the improvement of multi-objective reliability assessment theory.

It is widely recognized that rainfall over the Yangtze River valley （YRV） strengthens considerably during the decaying summer of E1 Nifio, as demonstrated by the catastrophic flooding suffered in the summer of 1998. Nevertheless, the rainfall over the YRV in the summer of 2016 was much weaker than that in 1998, despite the intensity of the 2016 E1 Nifio having been as strong as that in 1998. A thorough comparison of the YRV summer rainfall anomaly between 2016 and 1998 suggests that the difference was caused by the sub-seasonal variation in the YRV rainfall anomaly between these two years, principally in August. The precipitation anomaly was negative in August 2016--different to the positive anomaly of 1998.

The water crisis is one of the biggest human problems in developing countries,especially in semi-arid regions where it can form an obstacle to irrigation and cultivation,cattle raising and people's *** construction of small dams/reservoirs are a possible solution to remediate this *** infrastructures must be located in suitable areas to be *** study aimed to find the most suitable locations for small dams/reservoirs in the Tete province region,Mozambique,which has a pronounced water deficit A Geographical Information System(GIS)based approach was used to implement a multicriteria evaluation(MCE)analysis through an Analytic Hierarchical Process(AHP),which included local experts’*** main categories of suitability were identified:"Not suitable”(15%of total area),"Modestly suitable"(78%),and“Suitable"(7%).We found that 35 of the 38(92%)abandoned small dams/reservoirs were in areas classified as“Modestly suitable”confirming the robustness of our *** also found that most of the dams/reservoirs currently operating(78%)and planned(73%)are in modestly suitable *** finding suggests that the decision to construct dams/reservoirs may not have considered the most critical suitability factors identified in this *** data and/or additional criteria are required for the full understanding of finding out why so many dams/reservoirs failed before building new ones to address the population’s water needs in the region.

矿用带式输送机在运行过程中通常难以到达满载状态,传统控制系统的恒速运行模式易导致输送机在轻载甚至空载状态下长时间保持高速运转,使输送机能耗增高的同时减少设备的机械寿命。针对上述带式输送机控制系统中存在的不足,提出了带式输送机的智能调速控制系统。该系统基于BP神经网络建立输送机功耗与煤流量、输送带转速间的映射模型,利用模糊控制器实现对输送机变频调速的智能节能控制,同时,通过WinCC组态软件,设计上位机监控界面。智能调速控制系统具备对输送机的远程变频调速控制、运行状态实时监控以及数据归档查询等功能,可有效降低输送机的运行能耗,延长设备的运行寿命。

The current treatment strategies in advanced malignancies remain ***,immunotherapies have raised hope for a successful control of these advanced diseases,but their therapeutic responses are suboptimal and vary considerably among ***-associated macrophages(TAMs)are a major component of the tumor microenvironment(TME)and are often correlated with poor prognosis and therapy resistance,including ***,a deeper understanding of the complex roles of TAMs in immunotherapy regulation could provide new insight into the ***,targeting of TAMs is an emerging field of interest due to the hope that these strategies will synergize with current *** this review,we summarize recent studies investigating the involvement of TAMs in immune checkpoint inhibition,tumor vaccines and adoptive cell transfer therapies,and discuss the therapeutic potential of targeting TAMs as an adjuvant therapy in tumor immunotherapies.
