A novel CGBoost deep learning algorithm for coseismic landslide susceptibility prediction

The accurate prediction of landslide susceptibility shortly after a violent earthquake is quite vital to the emergency rescue in the 72-h‘‘golden window”.However,the limited quantity of interpreted landslides shortly after a massive earthquake makes landslide susceptibility prediction become a *** address this gap,this work suggests an integrated method of Crossing Graph attention network and xgBoost(CGBoost).This method contains three branches,which extract the interrelations among pixels within a slope unit,the interrelations among various slope units,and the relevance between influencing factors and landslide probability,respectively,and obtain rich and discriminative features by an adaptive fusion ***,the difficulty of susceptibility modeling under a small number of coseismic landslides can be *** a basic module of CGBoost,the proposed Crossing graph attention network(Crossgat)could characterize the spatial heterogeneity within and among slope units to reduce the false alarm in the susceptibility ***,the rainfall dynamic factors are utilized as prediction indices to improve the susceptibility performance,and the prediction index set is established by terrain,geology,human activity,environment,meteorology,and earthquake *** is applied to predict landslide susceptibility in the Gorkha meizoseismal area.3.43%of coseismic landslides are randomly selected,of which 70%are used for training,and the others for *** the testing set,the values of Overall Accuracy,Precision,Recall,F1-score,and Kappa coefficient of CGBoost attain 0.9800,0.9577,0.9999,0.9784,and 0.9598,*** by all the coseismic landslides,CGBoost outperforms the current major landslide susceptibility assessment *** suggested CGBoost can be also applied to landslide susceptibility prediction in new earthquakes in the future.

【目的】研究廉江高桥红树林沉积物中微生物群落构特征,及其与环境营养因子的相关性,为了解该研究区域红树林生态系统功能和红树林湿地保护提供基础。【方法】利用16S rDNA高通量测序手段,分析红树林生态系统表层沉积物中微生物的组成、多样性和群落结构,并通过相关性分析探究其对环境营养因子的响应。【结果】研究区域沉积物中微生物优势细菌类群为变形菌门(Proteobacteria),绿弯菌门(Chloroflexi),酸杆菌门(Acidobacteria),拟杆菌门(Bacteroidetes)和芽单胞菌门(Gemmatimonadetes),其中变形菌门是相对丰度最高的类群,占比46.6%~68.9%。微生物α多样性中Shannon指数变化范围为9.95~10.34,Chao1指数变化范围为1 990~2 527,这两个指数在中高潮带间均存在显著差异(P <0.05)。沉积物中总磷、有效磷、总氮和氨氮的质量分数变化范围分别为383.575~760.283、41.772~97.076、820.201~1 452.442、1.511~9.048 mg·kg^(-1),且总磷在中高潮带间存在显著差异(P <0.05)。沉积物中营养因子对门水平上微生物群落组成的解释量为46%,其中总有机碳(TOC)和总氮是对群落结构影响较大的营养因子。【结论】廉江高桥红树林沉积物中微生物多样性丰富,中潮带微生物多样性和丰富度显著高于高潮带,且中潮带采样点的样本与高潮带的分离程度较好;不同分类的微生物对环境中营养因子具有不同程度的响应,TOC是影响中潮带沉积物中微生物群落组成和结构的关键因子,而氮磷是控制高潮带微生物群落结构的主要营养因子。

孟鲁司特钠与酮替酚治疗小儿咳嗽变异性哮喘对其咳嗽症状消失时间和呼吸功能指标恢复时间的影响

目的探讨小儿咳嗽变异性哮喘(Cough Variant Asthma,CVA)治疗中应用孟鲁司特钠与酮替酚的临床效果及对预后的影响。方法回顾性选取2022年1月—2023年9月自贡市第四人民医院收治的98例CVA患儿的临床资料,以治疗方法不同分为对照组和观察组,各49例。对照组单一应用孟鲁司特钠治疗,观察组合用孟鲁司特钠、酮替芬治疗。比较两组临床疗效、咳嗽症状消失时间、呼吸功能指标恢复时间、肺功能、炎症水平、免疫功能指标。结果观察组临床有效率为93.88%,高于对照组的79.59%,差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=4.346,P<0.05)。与对照组比较,观察组咳嗽症状消失、呼吸功能指标恢复时间短,差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。治疗后两组第1秒用力呼气量、第1秒用力呼气量/用力肺活量、最大呼气峰流速均呈升高趋势,且观察组优于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。两组治疗后肿瘤坏死因子-α、免疫球蛋白E、辅助性T细胞1检测值呈下降趋势,白细胞介素-4、调节性T细胞检测值呈升高趋势,且观察组优于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。结论在小儿CVA治疗中孟鲁司特钠与酮替芬合用可取得确切疗效,可使咳嗽症状和呼吸功能得到改善改善,提高肺功能、缓解炎症水平。

Near real-time spatial prediction of earthquake-induced landslides(EQILs)can rapidly forecast the occurrence position of widespread landslides just after a violent earthquake;thus,EQIL prediction is very crucial to the 72-hour‘golden window’for *** work focuses on a series of earthquake events from 2008 to 2022 occurring in the Tibetan Plateau,a famous seismically-active zone,and proposes a novel interpretable self-supervised learning(ISeL)method for the near real-time spatial prediction of *** new method innovatively introduces swap noise at the unsupervised mechanism,which can improve the generalization performance and transferability of the model,and can effectively reduce false alarm and improve accuracy through *** interpretable module is built based on a self-attention mechanism to reveal the importance and contribution of various influencing factors to EQIL spatial *** results demonstrate that the ISeL model is superior to the excellent state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning ***,according to the interpretable module in the ISeL method,the critical controlling and triggering factors are *** ISeL method can also be applied in other earthquake-frequent regions worldwide because of its good generalization and transferability.

Attentive Neighborhood Feature Augmentation for Semi-supervised Learning

Recent state-of-the-art semi-supervised learning(SSL)methods usually use data augmentations as core *** methods,however,are limited to simple transformations such as the augmentations under the instance’s naive representations or the augmentations under the instance’s semantic *** tackle this problem,we offer a unique insight into data augmentations and propose a novel data-augmentation-based semi-supervised learning method,called Attentive Neighborhood Feature Aug-mentation(ANFA).The motivation of our method lies in the observation that the relationship between the given feature and its neighborhood may contribute to constructing more reliable transformations for the data,and further facilitating the classifier to distinguish the ambiguous features from the low-dense ***,we first project the labeled and unlabeled data points into an embedding space and then construct a neighbor graph that serves as a similarity measure based on the similar representations in the embedding ***,we employ an attention mechanism to transform the target features into augmented ones based on the neighbor ***,we formulate a novel semi-supervised loss by encouraging the predictions of the interpolations of augmented features to be consistent with the corresponding interpolations of the predictions of the target *** carried out exper-iments on SVHN and CIFAR-10 benchmark datasets and the experimental results demonstrate that our method outperforms the state-of-the-art methods when the number of labeled examples is limited.

Tactile signals play a crucial role in enabling robots to successfully manipulate unfamiliar *** robots to grasp unknown objects securely and without causing damage,it is essential that they can analyze grasping stability in real time through tactile signals and respond *** study introduces a novel method for analyzing the stability of robotic hand grasping,utilizing the Wilcoxon signed rank *** efficacy of this method is demonstrated through its static and dynamic performance,and evaluated across a series of *** findings of this research highlight the method’s ability to accurately detect when an object begins to slip from the robot’s *** this method allows the gripper to maintain a secure hold on objects by applying the minimal necessary *** also enables the gripper to dynamically adjust the force it applies in real time,thus preventing the object from slipping during the movement of the robotic ***,the gripper demonstrates the ability to stably grasp objects of varied weights and with unknown characteristics,showcasing the versatility and effectiveness of the proposed method.

Active High-Locality Landslides in Mao County: Early Identification and Deformational Rules

High-locality landslides are located on slopes at high elevations and are characterized by long sliding distances, large gravitational potential energy, high movement velocities, tremendous kinetic energy, and sudden onset. Thus, they often cause catastrophic damage to human lives and engineering facilities. It is of great significance to identify active high-locality landslides in their early deformational stages and to reveal their deformational rules for effective disaster mitigation. Due to alpinecanyon landforms, Mao County is a representative source of high-locality landslides. This work employs multisource data(geological, terrain, meteorological, ground sensor, and remote sensing data) and timeseries In SAR technology to recognize active high-locality landslides in Mao County and to reveal their laws of development. Some new viewpoints are suggested.(1) Nineteen active high-locality landslides are identified by the time-series In SAR technique, of which 7 are newly discovered in this work. All these high-locality landslides possessed good concealment during their early deformational stages. The newly discovered HL-16 landslide featured a large scale and a great slope height, posing a large threat to the surrounding buildings and residents.(2) The high-locality landslides in Mao County were mainly triggered by three factors: earthquakes, precipitation, and road construction.(3) Three typical high-locality landslides that were triggered by different factors are highlighted with their deformational rules under the functions of steep terrain, shattered rocks, fissure-water penetration, precipitation, and road construction. This work may provide clues to the prevention and control of high-locality landslides and can be applied to the determination of active high-locality landslides in other hard-hit areas.

Instance Reweighting Adversarial Training Based on Confused Label

Reweighting adversarial examples during training plays an essential role in improving the robustness of neural networks,which lies in the fact that examples closer to the decision boundaries are much more vulnerable to being attacked and should be given larger *** probability margin(PM)method is a promising approach to continuously and path-independently mea-suring such closeness between the example and decision ***,the performance of PM is limited due to the fact that PM fails to effectively distinguish the examples having only one misclassified category and the ones with multiple misclassified categories,where the latter is closer to multi-classification decision boundaries and is supported to be more critical in our *** tackle this problem,this paper proposed an improved PM criterion,called confused-label-based PM(CL-PM),to measure the closeness mentioned above and reweight adversarial examples during ***-cally,a confused label(CL)is defined as the label whose prediction probability is greater than that of the ground truth label given a specific adversarial *** of considering the discrepancy between the probability of the true label and the probability of the most misclassified label as the PM method does,we evaluate the closeness by accumulating the probability differences of all the CLs and ground truth ***-PM shares a negative correlation with data vulnerability:data with larger/smaller CL-PM is safer/riskier and should have a smaller/larger *** demonstrated that CL-PM is more reliable in indicating the closeness regarding multiple misclassified categories,and reweighting adversarial training based on CL-PM outperformed state-of-the-art counterparts.

Lunar titanium abundance characterization using Chang'E-1 IIM data

Lunar titanium characterization is an important goal of the China Lunar Exploration Program. We suggest a method to determine the lunar titanium abundance using Chang'E-1 IIM (Interference Imaging Spectrometer) imagery. Using samples from Apollo and Luna landing sites, the method firstly establishes the spectral parameters that possess good non-linear correlations with lunar titanium abundance. Secondly, the method estimates lunar titanium abundance using a DT-SVM (Decision Tree Method C5.0-Support Vector Machine) method. Namely, according to the established spectral parameters, it uses the C5.0 algorithm to classify the titanium abundance into the 4 classes of very low, low, intermediate and high. Then, in terms of the spectral parameters and the corresponding classes, it employs the SVM to estimate the titanium abundance. The method makes good use of hyperspectral information, analyzes the nonlinear correlations between spectral characteristics of lunar soils and the composition parameter, and well determines the titanium abundance. Validated by the Apollo and Luna station samples, the RMSE (root mean square error) is 0.72wt% TiO2 and the correlation coefficient of the measured and predicted values is 97.29%. So, the method proposed in this paper has a good predictive capability for TiO2 abundance on the lunar surface. The maps of TiO2 content in the partial region of Sinus Iridium, the Apollo 17 landing site and the Apollo 16 landing site are constructed by our method. This paper demonstrates the potential of IIM data for the investigation of lunar surface chemistry and mineralogy.

TOPOLOGY OPTIMIZATION OF MULTIPLE INPUTS AND MULTIPLE OUTPUTS COMPLIANT MECHANISMS

An optimal topology design method for multiple inputs and multiple outputs compliant micro-manipulation system is presented. Firstly, the topology design problem is posed in terms of a multiple inputs load and several specified output deflections. The compliance and stiffness of the system are expressed by the mutual potential energy and strain energy, respectively, which can be controlled by a multi-critaria objective function. Secondly, based on the optimality criteria method, a model solution algorithm is presented. Finally, a numerical example is presented to show the validity oftbe presented technique. The optimal topology ofa 4 inputs and 4 outputs compliant mechanism is obtained by using the method, and the corresponding micro-positioning stage system is further designed.
