Effect of BaSO_(4) on phase composition and sintering process of iron ore fines

Iron ore containing BaSO_(4) may have a series of effects on the quality of the sinter and performance of the blast ***,the effect mechanism of BaSO_(4)(0-6.0 mass%)on the compressive strength,mineral composition,and microstructure of the sinter was *** experimental results show that the compressive strength of the sintered samples initially increases and then decreases when the BaSO_(4) content increases from 0 to 6.0 mass%,reaching a peak value of 12.78 kN with a BaSO_(4) content of 1.0 mass%.Thermal analysis indicates that BaSO_(4) initially decomposes to produce BaO at 1468 K in the presence of iron *** combines with Fe_(2)O_(3) forming barium ferrite(Ba_(2)Fe_(6)O_(11)),which exists in the sintered sample with a granular *** also dissolves in calcium ferrite and slag to promote the formation of calcium ferrite and barium glass,*** content of needle-like calcium ferrite gradually increases and then decreases with the increase in BaSO_(4) *** exists in a plate-like *** generation of dicalcium ferrite is promoted by increasing the BaSO_(4) addition from 2.0 to 6.0 mass%.

In order to clarify the oxidation mechanisms and make better use of the low-grade vanadiferous titanomagnetite concentrate with high titanium(LVTC),the oxidation behavior of LVTC was *** results showed that oxidation degree was achieved within 90 min when temperature was not lower than 700°C,and the main phases of the oxidized LVTC consisted of Fe9TiO15,Fe2O3,CaSiTiO5 and a small amount of *** temperature is favorable to the formation of *** surface of LVTC gradually becomes rough,with fine particles of needle-like and granular shape appearing on the surface,which finally turn from laminar to creamy,spread out,and are interspersed with many tiny *** phase oxidation paths in LVTC were as follows:(1)Fe2.75Ti0.25O4→Fe9TiO15+Fe2O3;(2)Fe2.75Ti0.25O4→Fe2O3+FeTiO3→Fe2TiO5;(3)FeTiO3→Fe2O3+Fe2Ti3O9→*** is predominantly mesoporous whether oxidized or not,with the pores mainly distributed in the range of 2–40 nm,and the specific surface area of LVTC decreases significantly with increasing temperature.

The reduction of titanomagnetite（TTM） ironsand, which contains 11.41wt% TiO_2 and 55.63wt% total Fe, by graphite was performed using a thermogravimetric analysis system under an argon gas atmosphere at 1423–1623 K. The behavior and effects of titanium in TTM ironsand during the reduction process were investigated by means of thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. During the reduction procedure, the titanium concentrated in the slag phase, where the phase transformation followed this sequence： Fe O ＋ FeTiO_3 → Fe_2 TiO_4 → FeTiO_3 → FeTi_2O_5 → TiO_2. The calculated results for the reduction kinetics showed that the carbothermic reduction was controlled by the diffusion of ions through the product layer. Furthermore, the apparent activation energy was 170.35 k J·mol^（-1）.

Effect of aluminum oxide on the compressive strength of pellets

Analytical-reagent-grade Al2O3 was added to magnetite ore during the process of pelletizing, and the methods of mercury intru-sion, scanning electron microscopy, and image processing were used to investigate the effect of Al2O3 on the compressive strength of the pellets. The results showed that, as the Al2O3 content increased, the compressive strength of the pellets increased slightly and then decreased gradually. When a small amount of Al2O3 was added to the pellets, the Al2O3 combined with fayalite （2FeO＆#183;SiO2） and the aluminosilicate （2FeO＆#183;2Al2O3＆#183;5SiO2） was generated, which releases some iron oxide and reduces the inhibition of fayalite to the solid phase of consolidation. When Al2O3 increased sequentially, high melting point of Al2O3 particles hinder the oxidation of Fe3O4 and the recrystallization of Fe2O3, making the internal porosity of the pellets increase, which leads to the decrease in compressive strength of the pellets.

Direct reduction of pyrite cinder in a rotary hearth furnace （RHF） was studied under the condition of labo ratory simulation. Effects of reduction temperature, reduction time, molar ratio of carbon to oxygen, .and CaO addition on metallization rate as well as compressive strength of the pellets after reduction were discussed. The results showed that the metallization rate and compressive strength were 93.9% and 2 160 N per pellet respectively under the conditions of the reduction temperature of 1 200 ℃, the reduction time of 16 min, and the molar ratio of carbon to oxygen （xc/xo） of 1. 0; adding 2.5% CaO was beneficial to sulfur enrichment in slag phase of pellet, and metal- lization rate increased slightly while compressive strength decreased.

Potential health risks related to environmental endocrine disruptors(EEDs)have aroused research hotspots at the forefront of water treatment ***,nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide/schwertmannite nanocomposites(N-TiO_(2)/SCH)have been successfully developed as heterogeneous catalysts for the degradation of typical EEDs via photo-Fenton *** to the sustainable Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ)conversion induced by photoelectrons,as-prepared N-TiO_(2)/SCH nanocomposites exhibit much enhanced efficiency for the degradation of bisphenol A(BPA;ca.100% within 60 min under visible irradiation)in a wide pH range of 3.0-7.8,which is significantly higher than that of the pristine schwertmannite(ca.74.5%)or N-TiO_(2)(ca.10.8%).In this photo-Fenton system,the efficient degradation of BPA is mainly attributed to the oxidation by hydroxyl radical(·OH)and singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2)).Moreover,the possible catalytic mechanisms and reaction pathway of BPA degradation are systematically investigated based on analytical and photoelectrochemical *** work not only provides a feasible means for the development of novel heterogeneous photo-Fenton catalysts,but also lays a theoretical foundation for the potential application of mineral-based materials in wastewater treatment.

A hybrid WUDT-NAFnet for simultaneous source data deblending

Simultaneous source technology, which reduces seismic survey time and improves the quality of seismic data by firing more than one source with a narrow time interval, is compromised by the massive blended interference. Therefore, deblending algorithms have been developed to separate this ***, deep learning(DL) has been proved its great potential in suppressing the interference. The most popular DL method employs neural network as a filter to attenuate the blended noise in an iterative estimation and subtraction framework(IESF). However, there are still amplitude distortion and blended noise residual problems, especially when dealing with weak signal submerged in strong interference. To address these problems, we propose a hybrid WUDT-NAFnet, which contains two sub-networks. The first network is a wavelet based U-shape deblending transformer network(WUDTnet), incorporated into IESF as a robust regularization term to iteratively separate the blended interference. The second network is a nonlinear activate free network(NAFnet) designed to recover the event amplitude and further suppress the weak noise residual in IESF. With the hybrid network, the blended noise can be separated purposefully and accurately. Examples using synthetic and field seismic data demonstrate that the WUDTNAFnet outperforms traditional curvelet transform(CT) based method and the deblending transformer(DT) model in terms of deblending. Additionally, for field applications, the data augmentation method of bicubic interpolation is applied to mitigate the feature difference between synthetic and field ***, the trained network exhibits strong signal preservation ability in numerical field example without requiring additional training.
