A V-shaped spacroscopic cell（V-cell） was constructed using two CaF2 optical plates for FTIR light transparent measurements in the range of 4000-1000 cm^（-1）.The spectrum of ethanol was characterized with the standard spectra,excellent fitting was achieved with a bottom-width correction *** principle of the V-cell was discussed,giving equations for the data *** shows that the V-cell is an auto-focus type spectroscopic cell,which can effectively avoid absorption saturation with amplifications for weak absorption *** V-cell design is simple and effective,easy to operate,suitable for applications in liquid samples with high absorption bands,willing to have broad application prospects.

Objective The specific objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of atmospheric pressure plasma(APP)in the treatment of experimental periodontitis in Beagle *** The APP jet was diagnosed using optical emission spectroscopy and laser-induced fluorescence *** Beagles received stainless steel ligatures to establish experimental periodontitis *** teeth in the control group were subjected to conventional root surface debridement(RSD)and chlorhexidine *** APP group also started with RSD and was then subjected to plasma *** analyses including plaque index,modified sulcus bleeding index,pocket depth and attachment loss(AL),as well as cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT)analysis,were performed at baseline,4th week,8th week and 12th week after *** The results showed that typical reactive oxygen and nitrogen species were found in the full spectrum and the gas temperature of APP was close to room *** highest concentrations of hydroxide and oxygen were obtained at 5 mm away from the *** both groups,all values in clinical examinations were significantly lower(P<0.05)at 12th week after treatment than those at *** the 12th week,the AL in clinical examinations and the bone loss in CBCT images in the APP group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The hematoxylin-eosin staining showed more renascent alveolar bone in the APP group than in the control *** These findings suggested that APP has profound potential for use as an adjunct approach for periodontitis treatment.

Active oxygen quantum yield, insecticidal activities and stability of diphenylthiophene were studied for the first time. The results showed that maximum diphenylthiophene absorbency variety was 0.438 after irradiation for 280 min and that of α- terthienyl （α-T） was 0.480 after irradiation for 200 min with UV. LCs0 values ofdiphenylthiophene and α-T against 3rd instar larvae ofAedes albopictus were 9.18 × 10^-3 and 9.69× 10^-4 μg mL^-1 when treated for 24 h, respectively. LC50 values of the two chemicals against the 3rd instar larvae of Plutella xylostella were 267.87 and 222.22 μg mL^-1 when treated for 24 h, respectively. The half lives of diphenylthiophene and α-T in methanol were 113.62 and 10.65 h. Difference between quantum yield of diphenylthiophene and α-T was not significant and they all possessed high toxicity to Aedes albopictus and Plutella xylostella, but diphenylthiophene was more stable than α-T. It could be concluded that diphenylthiophene has overcome the deficiency of photoactivated insecticides which degraded quickly in the environment and could not be applied on the field. Diphenylthiophene could kill the insects and accelerate the degradation rate of triazophos. The benefits of diphenylthiophene can be further exploited and applied on the field.

The electron density of side chains agrees better with the primary *** conformation and the three-dimensional structure as well as the major heavy-atom binding sites for the two molecules in an asymmetric unit are substantially the *** structure of trichosanthin shows more similarity to ricin A chain than that reported previously.

An in-depth analysis on the cooperativity of intermolecular interactions including hydrogen bonding andπ-π stacking in 1,3,5-triamino-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene(TATB) crystal was studied. Two quantities, cooperativity rate and energy, were defined to evaluate the nature and strength of cooperativity in a series of clusters diverging from 1D to 3D prototypes. The origin and mechanism of the cooperative effect were settled to demonstrate that the nature of cooperativity is determined by whether the non-covalent interactions compete or promote with each other, which is manifested by the changing trend of electron transfer. There exists obvious cooperative effect in intra-layer and inter-layer structures as they own the equivalent non-covalent interactions, while anti-cooperative effect is also observed if two interactions correlate with each other. On the whole, in the process of crystal formation, the apparent cooperativity is the check and balance of the two effects, which is capable to support a global interaction among all of molecules and contribute to the stabilization of system. Based on the results, one may get a new insight to understand the relationship between non-covalent interactions and low impact sensitivity.

To examine the role of gap junctions in cell senescence, the changes of gap junctions in cisplatin-induced premature senescence of primary cultured fibroblasts were studied and compared with the replicative senescent human fibroblasts. Dye transfer assay for gap junction function and immunofluorescent staining for connexin 43 protein distribution were done respectively. Furthermore, cytofluorimetry and DAPI fluorescence staining were performed for cell cycle and apoptosis analysis, p53 gene expression level was detected with indirect immunofluorescence. We found that cisplatin (10 mM) treatment could block cell growth cycle at G1 and induced premature senescence. The premature senescence changes included high frequency of apoptosis, elevation of p53 expression, loss of membranous gap junctions and reduction of dye-transfer capacity. These changes were comparable to the changes of replicative senescence of human fibroblasts. It was also concluded that cisplatin could induce premature senescence concomita
