Experience of humanistic nursing in hemodialysis nursing for patients with diabetic kidney disease

BACKGROUND Diabetic kidney disease(DKD)is a prevalent complication of diabetes that often requires hemodialysis for *** the field of nursing,there is a growing recognition of the importance of humanistic care,which focuses on the holistic needs of patients,including their emotional,psychological,and social ***,the application of humanistic nursing in the context of hemodialysis for DKD patients remains relatively *** To explore the experience of humanistic nursing in hemodialysis nursing for DKD *** Ninety-six DKD patients treated with hemodialysis from March 2020 to June 2022 were included in the study and divided into the control cluster(48 cases)and the study cluster(48 cases)according to different nursing methods;the control cluster was given routine nursing and the study cluster was given humanized *** variances of negative emotion mark,blood glucose,renal function,the incidence of complications,life mark and nursing satisfaction before and after nur-sing were contrasted between the two *** No significant difference in negative emotion markers between the two clusters were observed before nursing(P>0.05),and the negative emotion markers of the two clusters decreased after *** Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale markers were lower in the study cluster than the control *** healing rate of patients in the study cluster was significantly higher than the control cluster(97.92%vs 85.42%,P0.05).However,after nursing,blood urea nitrogen and serum creatinine(SCr)levels in the study cluster were lower than those in the control cluster(P<0.05).The incidence rate of complications was significantly lower in the study group compared to the control cluster(6.25%vs 20.83%,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the life markers between the two clusters be

Swelling behaviors of heterogeneous red-bed mudstone subjected to different vertical stresses

In this study,the axial swelling strain of red-bed mudstone under different vertical stresses are measured by swell-under-load method,and the microstructure of mudstone after hygroscopic swelling is studied by mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP).The weakening coefficient and Weibull distribution function are introduced into the coupling model of mudstone moisture diffusion-swelling deformation-fracture based on finite-discrete element method(FDEM).The weakening effect of moisture on mudstone's mechanical parameters,as well as the heterogeneity of swelling deformation and stress distribution,is *** microcrack behavior and energy evolution of mudstone during hygroscopic swelling deformation under different vertical stresses are *** results show that the axial swelling strain of mudstone decreases with increase of the vertical *** low vertical stresses,moisture absorption in mudstone leads to formation of cracks caused by hydration-induced *** high vertical stresses,a muddy sealing zone forms on the mudstone surface,preventing further water *** simulation results of mudstone swelling deformation also demonstrate that it involves both swelling of the mudstone matrix and swelling caused by crack ***,crack expansion plays a dominant role in mudstone *** increasing vertical stress,the cracks in mudstone change from tensile cracks to shear cracks,resulting in a significant reduction in the total number of *** the evolution of mudstone kinetic energy shows similarities under different vertical stresses,the evolution of strain energy varies significantly due to the presence of different types of cracks in the *** findings provide a theoretical basis for understanding the hygroscopic swelling deformation mechanism of red-bed mudstone at various depths.

Influence of syngas components and ash particles on the radiative heat transfer in a radiant syngas cooler

Radiant syngas cooler(RSC)is widely used as a waste heat recovery equipment in industrial *** this work,an RSC with radiation screens is established and the impact of gaseous radiative property models,gas components,and ash particles on heat transfer is investigated by the numerical simulation *** the syngas components and the pressure environment of the RSC,a modified weighted-sum-of-gray-gases model was *** modified model shows high accuracy in *** computational fluid dynamics simulation,the calculated steam production is only 0.63%in error with the industrial *** with Smith's model,the temperature decay along the axial direction calculated by the modified model is *** components are of great significance to heat recovery capacity,especially when the absorbing gas fraction is less than 10%.After considering the influence of particles,the outlet temperature and the proportion of radiative heat transfer are less affected,but the difference in steam output reaches 2.7 t·h^(-1).The particle deposition on the wall greatly reduces the heat recovery performance of an RSC.

GATiT:An Intelligent Diagnosis Model Based on Graph Attention Network Incorporating Text Representation in Knowledge Reasoning

The growing prevalence of knowledge reasoning using knowledge graphs(KGs)has substantially improved the accuracy and efficiency of intelligent medical ***,current models primarily integrate electronic medical records(EMRs)and KGs into the knowledge reasoning process,ignoring the differing significance of various types of knowledge in EMRs and the diverse data types present in the *** better integrate EMR text information,we propose a novel intelligent diagnostic model named the Graph ATtention network incorporating Text representation in knowledge reasoning(GATiT),which comprises text representation,subgraph construction,knowledge reasoning,and diagnostic *** the text representation process,GATiT uses a pre-trained model to obtain text representations of the EMRs and additionally enhances embeddings by including chief complaint information and numerical information in the *** the subgraph construction process,GATiT constructs text subgraphs and disease subgraphs from the KG,utilizing EMR text and the disease to be *** differentiate the varying importance of nodes within the subgraphs features such as node categories,relevance scores,and other relevant factors are introduced into the text ***-passing strategy and attention weight calculation of the graph attention network are adjusted to learn these features in the knowledge reasoning ***,in the diagnostic classification process,the interactive attention-based fusion method integrates the results of knowledge reasoning with text representations to produce the final diagnosis *** results on multi-label and single-label EMR datasets demonstrate the model’s superiority over several state-of-theart methods.

Source apportionment and suitability evaluation of seasonal VOCs contaminants in the soil around a typical refining-chemical integration park in China

Accurate source apportionment of volatile organic compounds(VOCs)in soil nearby petrochemical industries prevailing globally,is critical for preventing ***,in the process,seasonal effect on contamination pathways and accumulation of soil VOCs is often ***,Yanshan Refining-Chemical Integration Park,including a carpet,refining,synthetic rubber,and two synthetic resin zones,was selected for *** variations resulted in a gradual decrease of 31 VOCs in soil from winter to summer.A method of dry deposition resistance model coupling partitioning coefficient model was created,revealing that dry deposition by gas phase was the primary pathway for VOCs to enter soil in winter and spring,with 100 times higher fux than by particle *** profiles for five zones were built by gas sampling with distinct substance indicators screened,which were used for positive matrix factorization factors *** of the five zones were 14.9%,20.8%,13.6%,22.1%,and 28.6%in winter and 33.4%,12.5%,10.7%,24.9%,and 18.5%in spring,*** variation in the soil sorption capacity of VOCs causes inter-seasonal differences in *** better correlation between dry deposition capacity and soil storage of VOCs made root mean square and mean absolute errors decrease averagely by 8.8%and 5.5%in winter compared to *** study provides new perspectives and methods for the source apportionment of soil VOCs contamination in industrial sites.

Pd Pt VO_(x)/CeO_(2)-ZrO_(2):Highly efficient catalysts with good sulfur dioxide-poisoning reversibility for the oxidative removal of ethylbenzene

The PdPtVO_(x)/CeO_(2)-ZrO_(2)(PdPtVO_(x)/CZO)catalysts were obtained by using different approaches,and their physical and chemical properties were determined by various *** activities of these materials in the presence of H_(2)O or SO_(2)were evaluated for the oxidation of ethylbenzene(EB).The PdPtVO_(x)/CZO sample exhibited high catalytic activity,good hydrothermal stability,and reversible sulfur dioxide-poisoning performance,over which the specific reaction rate at 160℃,turnover frequency at 160℃(TOF_(Pd or Pt)),and apparent activation energy were 72.6 mmol/(g_(Pt)·sec)or 124.2 mmol/(g_(Pd)·sec),14.2 sec^(-1)(TOF_(Pt))or 13.1 sec^(-1)(TOF_(Pd)),and 58 k J/mol,*** large EB adsorption capacity,good reducibility,and strong acidity contributed to the good catalytic performance of PdPtVO_(x)/*** activity of PdPtVO_(x)/CZO decreased when 50 ppm SO_(2)or(1.0 vol.%H_(2)O+50 ppm SO_(2))was added to the feedstock,but was gradually restored to its initial level after the SO_(2)was cut *** good reversible sulfur dioxide-resistant performance of PdPtVO_(x)/CZO was associated with the facts:(i)the introduction of SO_(2)leads to an increase in surface acidity;(ii)V can adsorb and activate SO_(2),thus accelerating formation of the SO_(x)^(2-)(x=3 or 4)species at the V and CZO sites,weakening the adsorption of sulfur species at the PdPt active sites,and hence protecting the PdPt active sites to be not poisoned by SO_(2).EB oxidation over PdPtVO_(x)/CZO might take place via the route of EB→styrene→phenyl methyl ketone→benzaldehyde→benzoic acid→maleic anhydride→CO_(2)and H_(2)O.

Rapid report of the December 18,2023 M_(S)6.2 Jishishan earthquake,Gansu,China

On December 18,2023,the Jishishan area in Gansu Province was jolted by a M_(S) 6.2 earthquake,which is the most powerful seismic event that occurred throughout the year in *** earthquake occurred along the NWtrending Lajishan fault(LJSF),a large tectonic transformation *** this event,China Earthquake Networks Center(CENC)has timely published several reports about seismic sources for emergency *** earthquake early warning system issued the first alert 4.9 s after the earthquake occurrence,providing prompt notification that effectively mitigated panics,injuries,and deaths of *** near real-time focal mechanism solution indicates that this earthquake is associated with a thrust *** distribution of aftershocks,the rupture process,and the recorded amplitudes from seismic monitoring and GNSS stations,all suggest that the mainshock rupture predominately propagates to the northwest *** duration of the rupture process is~12 s,and the largest slip is located at approximately 6.3 km to the NNW from the epicenter,with a peak slip of 0.12 m at~8 km *** station N0028 recorded the highest instrumental intensity,which is 9.4 on the Mercalli *** estimated intensity map shows a seismic intensity reaching up to IX near the rupture area,consistent with field survey *** aftershocks(up to December 22,2023)are mostly distributed in the northwest direction within~20 km of the *** earthquake caused serious casualties and house collapses,which requires further investigations into the impact of this earthquake.

Topological Confinement in Reversibly Interlocked Polymer Networks

Recently, we reported a series of reversibly interlocked polymer networks(RILNs), whose mechanical robustness and functionalities improvement was believed to be derived from topological interlocking of two sub-networks, although the direct evidence for the deduction is still lacking. Herein, a specially-designed RILNs system, in which the inter-component hydrogen bonds can be shielded as needed, was prepared and used to study the micro-structures of RILNs, aiming to verify the existence of mechanical interlocking in RILNs. By changing the pH of the swelling solvent, the effect exerted by the inter-component non-covalent bonds was eliminated, so detailed information of the networks structure was exposed. The small angle X-ray scattering(SAXS) and small-angle neutron scattering(SANS) results indicated that swelling-induced structural evolution of the two sub-networks mutually affected each other, even when the inter-component hydrogen bonds were absent, proving the presence of topological interlocking. The findings may help to draw a more accurate physical image and reveal the detailed structureproperty relationship of RILNs.
