An injectable and coagulation-independent Tetra-PEG hydrogel bioadhesive for post-extraction hemostasis and alveolar bone regeneration

Effective control of post-extraction hemorrhage and alveolar bone resorption is critical for successful extraction socket treatment,which remains an unmet clinical ***,an injectable Tetra-PEG hydrogel that possesses rapid gelation,firm tissue adhesion,high mechanical strength,suitable degradability,and excellent biocompatibility is developed as a sutureless and coagulation-independent bioadhesive for the management of extraction *** results demonstrate that the rapid and robust adhesive sealing of the extraction socket by the Tetra-PEG hydrogel can provide reliable protection for the underlying wound and stabilize blood clots to facilitate tissue *** vivo experiments using an anticoagulated rat tooth extraction model show that the hydrogel significantly outperformed clinically used cotton and gelatin sponge in hemostatic efficacy,wound closure,alveolar ridge preservation,and in situ alveolar bone *** evaluations reveal the mechanisms for accelerated bone repair through suppressed long-term inflammation,elevated collagen deposition,higher osteoblast activity,and enhanced ***,our study highlights the clinical potential of the developed injectable Tetra-PEG hydrogel for treating anticoagulant-related post-extraction hemorrhage and improving socket healing.

Link reliability based hybrid routing for tactical mobile ad hoc network

Tactical mobile ad hoc network （MANET） is a collection of mobile nodes forming a temporary network, without the aid of pre-established network infrastructure. The routing protocol has a crucial impact on the network performance in battlefields. Link reliability based hybrid routing （LRHR） is proposed, which is a novel hybrid routing protocol, for tactical MANET. Contrary to the traditional single path routing strategy, multiple paths are established between a pair of source-destination nodes. In the hybrid routing strategy, the rate of topological change provides a natural mechanism for switching dynamically between table-driven and on-demand routing. The simulation results indicate that the performances of the protocol in packet delivery ratio, routing overhead, and average end-to-end delay are better than the conventional routing protocol.

The time-resolved attenuated total reflectance-Fourier transform infrared(ATR-FTIR)spectroscopy is employed to investigate the transport mechanism of gel electrolytes by monitoring the diffusion behavior of propylene carbonate-lithium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide(PC-LiTFSI)solution through poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene)(P(VDF-HFP))*** behavior has been observed for both TFSr and *** temperature leads to faster diffusion of TFSI'and PC,which could be related to the increased free volume in P(VDF-HFP)matrix and rapid molecular movements upon *** molecular interactions among LiTFSI,PC and P(VDF-HFP)have been *** the diffusion process,PC molecules,in the form of small clusters,can firstly diffuse through the P(VDF-HFP)film and interact with P(VDF-HFP)by dipole-dipole interaction,acting as the ***,Li+diffuses into P(VDF-HFP)with the help of ion-dipole interactions between Li+and C=0 of ***,TFSI-diffuses through the polymer matrix in solvation *** addition,slight ion-dipole interactions between Li+and P(VDF-HFP)have been observed as *** in this work contribute to a better understanding of transport process in gel polymer electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries and support the development of improved gel polymer electrolytes by rationally regulating molecular interactions.

P^2: a robust and rotationally invariant shape descriptor with applications to mesh saliency

This work presents a robust and rotationally invariant shape descriptor, namely perception pronouncement （called p2）, to mathematically model the eye fixations, p2 takes two criteria - the local consideration of surface curvature and the global consideration of view- independent visibility - into account. Differing from existing works that often computed the intrinsic surface property of visibility in imaging space, a novel approach is proposed to approxi- mate the attribute in object space using Gauss map and Ray tracing. With the presented shape descriptor, mesh saliency detection, which refers to reasoning about which regions or points of a surface axe important, is more sensible, especially when 3D models fall into two categories：（1） the models possess significant interior/exterior structures; （2） the models contain regions where the contrast in visibility is high. For the models that are out of the categories, saliencies achieved by our approach are comparable to or even better than those of state-of-the-axt methods.

Firepower distribution method of anti-ship missile based on coupled path planning

Anti-ship missile coordinated attack mission planning is a complex multi-objective optimization problem with multiple combinations of platforms, strong decision-making constraints,and tightly coupled links. To avoid the coupling disorder between path planning and firepower distribution and improve the efficiency of coordinated attack mission planning, a firepower distribution model under the conditions of path planning is established from the perspective of decoupling optimization and the algorithm is implemented. First, we establish reference coordinate system of firepower distribution to clarify the reference direction of firepower distribution and divide the area of firepower distribution;then, we construct an index table of membership of firepower distribution to obtain alternative firepower distribution plans;finally, the fitness function of firepower distribution is established based on damage income, missile loss,ratio of efficiency and cost of firepower distribution, and the mean square deviation of the number of missiles used, and the alternatives are sorted to obtain the optimal firepower distribution plan. According to two simulation experiments, the method in this paper can effectively solve the many-to-many firepower distribution problem of coupled path planning. Under the premise of ensuring that no path crossing occurs, the optimal global solution can be obtained, and the operability and timeliness are good.

Environmental Mn(Ⅱ) enhances the activity of dissimilatory arsenate-respiring prokaryotes from arsenic-contaminated soils

Many investigations suggest that dissimilatory arsenate-respiring prokaryotes (DARPs) play a key role in stimulating reductive mobilization of As from solid phase into groundwater,but it is not clear how environmental Mn(Ⅱ) affects the DARPs-mediated reductive mobilization of *** resolve this issue,we collected soil samples from a realgar tailingsaffected *** found that there were diverse arsenate-respiratory reductase (arr) genes in the *** microbial communities had high arsenate-respiring activity,and were able to efficiently stimulate the reductive mobilization of *** to the microcosms without Mn(Ⅱ),addition of 10 mmol/L Mn(Ⅱ) to the microcosms led to 23.99%-251.79% increases in the microbial mobilization of As,and led to 133.3%-239.2% increases in the abundances of arr *** further isolated a new cultivable DARP,Bacillus sp.F11,from the arseniccontaminated *** completely reduced 1 mmol/L As(V) in 5 days under the optimal reaction *** further found that it was able to efficiently catalyze the reductive mobilization and release of As from the solid phase;the addition of 2 mmol/L Mn(Ⅱ) led to 98.49%-248.78% increases in the F11 cells-mediated reductive mobilization of As,and70.6%-104.4% increases in the arr gene *** data suggest that environmental Mn(Ⅱ) markedly increased the DARPs-mediated reductive mobilization of As in arseniccontaminated *** work provided a new insight into the close association between the biogeochemical cycles of arsenic and manganese.

Effects of quenching and partitioning process on mechanical properties of TRIP780 steel

A transformation-induced plasticity (TRIP) steel was applied to test its mechanical properties in quenching and partitioning (Q&P) process. A series of Q&P experiments followed by tensile tests, Charpy impact tests, fracture morphology analyses and microstructure observations were conducted. The experimental results showed that the Q&P treatment could increase the mechanical properties of TRIP steel evidently. The strength of tested TRIP780 after Q&P process reaches more than 1500 MPa with elongation of 17.8%, which is obviously greater than that of 22MnB5 after hot stamping. The microstructure observations indicate that the good combination of high strength and plasticity of TRIP steel after Q&P process is attributed to the multi-phase microstructure of hard martensite matrix and soft retained austenite.

Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)have attracted significant attention with respect to renewable energy power generation systems because of the abundant reserves of sodium on ***,anode materials are presently limited by low energy density,poor rate performance and inferior cycling *** recent years,tin disulfide(SnS_(2))with a particular layered structure has been considered as a promising anode material for SIBs due to its high theoretical capacity and low ***,a nervoussystem-like structured SnS_(2)/CNTs composite was successfully synthesized via a hydrothermal *** SnS_(2)sheets were strung with carbon nanotubes(CNTs)to form a hierarchical porous structure,which is effective for electrolyte diffusion and electronic *** large distance of the(001)plane(0.5899 nm)of SnS_(2)favors Na+insertion-extraction *** from these structural characteristics,SnS_(2)/CNTs electrodes exhibit high specific capacity,excellent rate performance and superior cycling stability.A high charge capacity of 642 mAh·g^(-1)was released at 0.2 A·g^(-1),and then,a high reversible capacity of 427 mAh·g^(-1)was retained after 100 *** charged at 2 A·g^(-1),the SnS_(2)/CNTS electrode maintained a capacity of 282 mAh·g^(-1).The nervous-system-like structure of the SnS_(2)/CNTs composite provides a novel strategy for the development of SIBs with high electrochemical performance.

BACKGROUND Treating diabetes in dialysis patients remains a challenge,with many hypoglycemic drugs requiring dose adjustments or avoidance in these *** SUMMARY This report describes an 83-year-old female patient with a 30-year history of type 2 diabetes(T2DM)who had struggled to control her blood sugar for more than a *** had a history of high blood pressure for 30 years,had undergone continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis for more than two years,was 163 cm tall,weighed 77 kg,and had a body mass index of 28.98 kg/*** intensive insulin therapy at a daily dose of 150 units,adding Dorzagliatin at a dosage of 75 mg orally twice daily led to immediate blood sugar improvement and a gradual reduction in insulin *** one month of follow-up,the fasting plasma glucose was 6-8 mmol/L,and the 2-hour postprandial glucose was 8-12 mmol/*** To our knowledge,this report is the first to use Dorzagliatin to treat type 2 diabetes peritoneal dialysis patients with challenging glucose ***,a novel glucokinase activator primarily metabolized by the liver,exhibits no pharmacokinetic differences among patients with varying degrees of chronic kidney *** has a high plasma protein binding rate and may not be cleared by peritoneal dialysis,potentially offering a new glycemic control option for Type 2 diabetic patients on peritoneal dialysis.

Recrystallization Modelling of Hot Deformed Si-Mn TRIP Steel

By means of hot compression single and double hit experiments, the kinetics of dynamic and static recrystallization in hot-rolled Si-Mn TRIP steel was studied, and the emphasis was put on the influence of high silicon content. The results show that the calculated parameters are consistent with the experimental ones, and addition of silicon retards both dynamic and static recrystallization as well as increases the flow stress of austenite, and the non-recrystallization zone can be enlarged by increasing the silicon contents.
