According to the characteristics of submerged floating tunnel anchored by tension legs,simplifying the tube as point mass and assuming that the tension leg is a nonlinear beam model hinged at both ends,the nonlinear vibration equation of the tension leg is *** equation is solved by the Galerkin method and Runge Kutta ***,numerical analysis of typical submerged floating tunnel tension leg is carried *** is shown that,the parametric vibration response of the submerged floating tunnel tension leg is related to the amplitude and frequency of the end *** considering axial resonance and transverse resonance,it is reasonable that higher order modes are abandoned and only the first three modes are *** axial resonance amplitude of the second or third order mode is equivalent to the first order mode axial resonance amplitude,which should not be ignored.

Wind data were collected during the 2011 typhoon Meari at heights of 10, 20, 30, and 40 m above the ground using a 40 m high anemometer tower in the coastal area near Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Wind speeds and directions, turbulence intensities, gust factors, and peaks were analyzed using the time records of wind speed. The results show that turbulence intensity components in longitudinal, lateral, and vertical directions decrease with mean wind speed, regardless of elevations, and the turbulence intensities are in a linear relationship with mean wind speeds. The ratios of three turbulence intensity components(i.e. Iu, Iv, Iw) at heights of 10, 20 and 40 m were calculated and equal to be 1:0.88:0.50, 1:0.84:0.57, and 1:0.9:0.49, respectively. In addition, the gust factors in three directions exhibit a reduction with increasing mean wind speed. The peak factors at different heights show a similar trend and slightly decrease with mean wind speed; average peak factors for all 10-min data from Typhoon Meari are 2.43, 2.48, and 2.47, respectively.

Periodontitis is recognized as the major cause of tooth loss in adults, posing an adverse impact on systemic health. In periodontitis, excessive production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) at the inflamed site culminates in periodontal destruction. In this study, a novel ROS-responsive drug delivery system based on polydopamine (PDA) functionalized mesoporous silica nanoparticles was developed for delivering minocycline hydrochloride (MH) to treat periodontitis. The outer PDA layer and the inner MH of the nanoparticles acted as ROS scavengers and anti-inflammatory agents, respectively. Under the synergistic action of PDA and MH, macrophages were polarized from the pro-inflammatory M1 to the anti-inflammatory M2 phenotype. The in vitro experiments provided convincing evidence that PDA could scavenge ROS effectively, and the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines was attenuated and the secretion of anti-inflammatory cytokines was enhanced through M1 to M2 polarization of macrophages with the cooperation of MH. In addition, the results obtained from the periodontitis rat models demonstrated that the synergetic effect of PDA and MH prevented alveolar bone loss without causing any adverse effect. Taken together, the results from the present investigation provide a new strategy to remodel the inflammatory microenvironment by inducing the polarization of macrophages from M1 toward M2 state for the treatment of periodontitis.

BACKGROUND For the past few years,preventive interventional therapy has been widely used domestically and overseas,bringing great benefits to pregnant women at high-risk for complications,such as pernicious placenta previa(PPP)and placenta ***,there are still few reports on surgical complications related to interventional therapy,and its safety should be a *** SUMMARY We report a 36-year-old pregnant woman with PPP who underwent balloon implantation in the lower segment of the abdominal aorta before caesarean ***,the balloon shifted during the operation,which damaged the arterial vessels after filling,resulting in severe postpartum haemorrhage in the ***,after emergency interventional stent implantation,the pa-tient was successfully relieved of the massive haemorrhage *** It seems that massive postoperative bleeding has been largely avoided in preventive interventional therapy in high-risk pregnant women with placenta-related diseases,but surgical complications related to intervention therapy can also cause adverse *** is equally important for clinical doctors to learn how to promptly identify and effectively treat these rare complications.

Germination is the first and maybe the foremost growth stage in the life cycle of a plant. Herein, we report that initiation of germination in the Arabidopsis Columbia ecotype was accompanied by a sharp decrease in the amount of extractable total RNA. At the beginning of our germination experiment, we were usually able to obtain 35-40 IJg total RNA from 100 mg dry seeds. However, after 3 d of cold stratification, we could only obtain less than 5 μg total RNA from the same amount of starting material. Young seedlings contained approximately 100 μg total RNA per 100 mg fresh tissue. Further studies showed that inhibition of de novo RNA synthesis by actinomycin D prevented the degradation of parental RNA and, in the meantime, significantly delayed the germination process. Several ribonuclease-like genes that were highly expressed in dry seeds, and especially during the cold stratification period, were discovered. We propose that these enzymes are involved in the regulation of parental RNA degradation. These results indicate that parental RNA metabolism may be an important process for Arabidopsis seed germination.

Carbon neutrality has increasingly become a crucial agenda within global climate ***,recent observations show that the governance architecture for carbon neutrality is transforming to ***,there is still a lack of systematic investigation on carbon neutrality governance under the polycentric *** this background,this study attempts to investigate the emergence and structure of polycentric climate governance,and to figure out to what extent the evolving polycentric system can contribute to the climate change governance towards carbon *** results show that efforts made by actors at transnational and subnational levels within the polycentric system can greatly complement the deficits of carbon neutrality governance by international regime and state government in many different ***,the identified issues,that are critical to carbon neutrality including climate legislation,adaptation,technology deployment and data authenticity and transparency,can be addressed in a more effective way through the coordination among multiple actors at multiple ***,further research should be conducted to address the dynamic linkages between international regimes as well as the issues related to small and medium-sized cities,and develop a comprehensive evaluation and accounting system for the risks and benefits of polycentric climate governance.
