Two Cd（Ⅱ） coordination polymers have been synthesized with pyrazine-1,4-dioxide （L1）, 2-methylpyrazine-1,4-dioxide （L2）, and thiocyanate anion as mixed bridge ligands. Crystal data for complex 1 [Cd（μ1,3-SCN^-）2（L1）]n： monoclinic system, space group P21/n with a = 6.8342（11）, b = 14.349（2）, c = 10.5443（16）°A,β = 98.534（2）°, V = 1022.5（3）°A^3 Z = 4, C6H4CdN4O2S2, Mr = 340.65, Dc = 2.213 g/cm^3, F（000） = 656 and u = 2.527 mm^-1; and those for 2： triclinic system, space group P/ with a = 7.877（3）, b = 8.693（3）, c = 8.754（3） °A, α= 102.297（6）,β= 102.464（6）, γ= 98.480（6）°, V= 560.0（3） °A^3, Z = 2, CTH6CdN4O2S2, Mr = 354.68, Dc = 2.103 g/cm^3, F（000） = 344 and μ= 2.311 mm^-1. 1 shows a three-dimensional network structure, and along the c direction a one-dimensional chain is constructed by the coordination of Cd（Ⅱ） ions with μ1,3-SCN^- ligands, and the L1 bridging ligands made the chains connect each other leading to the formation of a three-dimensional structure. For 2, the one-dimensional chains along the b axis are generated by the coordination of L2 bridging ligands with Cd（Ⅱ） ions, and the chains are further joined by μ1,3-SCN^- bridging ligands forming a two-dimensional sheet structure on the （10 -1 ） plane. Both complexes 1 and 2 exhibit strong fluorescence emission.

Objective To compare dietary intake and composition of women with and without polycystic ovary syndrome （PCOS）, and finally to figure out the relationship between dietary intake and *** Eighty-six women attending an outpatient gynecological endocrinology unit, underwent evaluation of anthropometry, dietary intakes by means of a food frequency questionnaire （FFQ）, 47 women with PCOS and 39 age-matched control women were investigated. Dietary intake was assessed by 24 h recalls. Associations between nutrients, BMI, WHR and glycometabolic measurements of PCOS were analyzed using multiple linear correlation and multiple linear regression *** 1） Obesity PCOS patients （BMI ≥25 kg/m2） took significantly more carbohydrates （P〈0.05） and fat （P〈0.01） of diet than the control women in 24 h before the first visit. There was significantly lower ratio of protein （P 〈0.01 ） and higher ratio of lipid （P〈0.01） in obesity PCOS patients than those in the control. Obesity PCOS women took significantly more calories （P〈O.05） and higher ratio of lipid （P〈O.O1） than non-obesity PCOS women （BMI〈25 kg/m2）. There were no significantly statistical differences between the non-obesity PCOS women and controls. 2） There were positive correlations between BMI and energy lipid intake, but negative correlations between BMI and the ratio of protein in the diet intake （P〈0.05）. In PCOS women, fasting insulin （FINS）, area under curve of insulin （IA UC）, and homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance （HOMA-IR） were all positively related with BMI （all P〈0.05）. 3） Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that BMI was positively associated with the amount of fat and negatively associated with the ratio of protein in diet in 24 h （both P〈0.001）. BACKGROUND Characteristics of alterations of serum hepatitis B virus(HBV) RNA in different chronic hepatitis B(CHB) patients still cannot be fully explained. Whether HBV RNA can predict HBeAg seroconversion is still *** To investigate whether HBV RNA can predict virological response or HBeAg seroconversion during entecavir(ETV) treatment when HBV DNA is *** The present study evaluated 61 individuals who were diagnosed and treated with long-term ETV monotherapy at the Department of Infectious Diseases of Peking University First Hospital(China) from September 2006 to December ***, 30 treatment-naive individuals were included. Serum HBV RNA were extracted from 140 μL serum samples at two time points. Then they were reverse transcribed to cDNA with the HBV-specific primer. The product was quantified by real-time quantitative PCR(RT-PCR) using TAMARA probes. Statistical analyses were performed with IBM SPSS *** Level of serum HBV RNA at baseline was 4.15 ± 0.90 log10 copies/mL. HBV RNA levels showed no significant difference between the virological response(VR)and partial VR(PVR) groups at baseline(P = 0.940). Serum HBV RNA significantly decreased among patients who achieved a VR during ETV therapy(P < 0.001). The levels of HBV RNA in both HBeAg-positive patients with seroconversion group and those with no seroconversion increased after 24 wk of treatment. Overall, HBV RNA significantly but mildly correlated to HBsAg(r =0.265, P = 0.041), and HBV RNA was not correlated to HBV DNA(r = 0.242, P =0.062). Furthermore, serum HBV RNA was an independent indicator for predicting HBeAg seroconversion and virological response. HBeAg seroconversion was more likely in CHB patients with HBV RNA levels below4.12 log10 copies/mL before *** The level of serum HBV RNA could predict HBeAg seroconversion and PVR during treatment. In the PVR group, the level of serum HBV RNA tends to be increasing.

We propose a cross-subcarrier precoder design(CSPD) for massive multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) downlink. This work aims to significantly improve the channel estimation and signal detection performance by enhancing the smoothness of the frequency domain effective channel. This is accomplished by designing a few vectors known as the transform domain precoding vectors(TDPVs), which are then transformed into the frequency domain to generate the precoders for a set of subcarriers. To combat the effect of channel aging, the TDPVs are optimized under imperfect channel state information(CSI). The optimal precoder structure is derived by maximizing an upper bound of the ergodic weighted sum-rate(WSR) and utilizing the a posteriori beam-based statistical channel model(BSCM). To avoid the large-dimensional matrix inversion, we propose an algorithm with symplectic optimization. Simulation results indicate that the proposed cross-subcarrier precoder design significantly outperforms conventional methods.

AIM To assess the efficacy and safety of combined directly acting antivirals(DAAs) for the treatment of Chinese chronic hepatitis C(CHC) patients in a real-world *** Hospitalized CHC patients who were treated with DAAs at Peking University First Hospital between January 2015 and December 2016 were enrolled. Samples and clinical data were collected at 0 wk, 2 wk, 4 wk, 8 wk, 12 wk, or 24 wk during DAAs treatment and at 4 wk, 12 wk, and 24 wk after the end of treatment. RESULTS Fifty-four patients who underwent DAAs treatment were included in our study, of whom 83.3%(45/54) achieved rapid virological response at 2 wk after treatment initiation(RVR 2) and 94.4%(51/54)achieved sustained virological response at 24 wk after the end of treatment(SVR 24). Serum creatinine and uric acid levels at the end of treatment were significantly increased compared with baseline levels(83.6 ± 17.9 vs 88.8 ± 19.4, P 01 xia(7.4%), and insomnia(5.6%). CONCLUSION Though based in a small cohort of patients, the abnormal changes in renal function indices and relative high frequency of AEs during combined DAAs treatment should be taken as a note of caution.

Background：The ultimate goal of hepatitis B treatment is hepatitis B surface antigen （HBsAg） *** factors have been suggested to be associated with the rate of HBsAg reduction in antiviral-naive or lamivudine therapy ***,there are few studies evaluating the factors during long-term entecavir （ETV） *** the present study,we aimed to evaluate the factors to predict the outcome of ETV therapy for 7 ***：A total of 47 chronic hepatitis B （CHB） patients treated with ETV monotherapy were included in this *** biochemistry,hepatitis B virus （HBV） serological markers,serum HBV DNA,and HBsAg titers were tested at baseline,3 months,6 months,and yearly from 1 to *** associations between factors and HBsAg reduction were assessed using multivariate tests with repeated measure analysis of ***：At baseline,serum HBsAg levels showed a positive correlation with baseline HBV DNA levels （r =0.625,P 〈 0.001）.The mean HBsAg titers after ETV treatment were significantly lower than the baseline titers （P ranges from 0.025 to 0.000,000,6）.The HBsAg reduction rate during the 1st year was greater compared to after 1 year of treatment （P 〈 0.05）.Multivariate test showed that hepatitis B e antigen （HBeAg） seroclearance and/or HBsAg reduction ≥0.5 log10 IU/ml at 6 months had a high negative predictive value （96.77%） for HBsAg seroclearance （P =0.002,P =0.012,respectively）.Conclusions：The HBsAg reduction rate during the 1st year was greater than that after 1 year of ***,HBeAg status and HBsAg levels at month 6 are the optimal factors for the early prediction of HBsAg seroclearance after long-term ETV therapy in CHB patients.

Subretinal fibrosis is the end-stage sequelae of neovascular age-related macular *** causes local damage to photoreceptors,retinal pigment epithelium,and choroidal vessels,which leads to permanent central vision loss of patients with neovascular age-related macular *** pathogenesis of subretinal fibrosis is complex,and the underlying mechanisms are largely ***,there are no effective treatment options.A thorough understanding of the pathogenesis of subretinal fibrosis and its related mechanisms is important to elucidate its complications and explore potential *** current article reviews several aspects of subretinal fibrosis,including the current understanding on the relationship between neovascular age-related macular degeneration and subretinal fibrosis;multimodal imaging techniques for subretinal fibrosis;animal models for studying subretinal fibrosis;cellular and non-cellular constituents of subretinal fibrosis;pathophysiological mechanisms involved in subretinal fibrosis,such as aging,infiltration of macrophages,different sources of mesenchymal transition to myofibroblast,and activation of complement system and immune cells;and several key molecules and signaling pathways participating in the pathogenesis of subretinal fibrosis,such as vascular endothelial growth factor,connective tissue growth factor,fibroblast growth factor 2,platelet-derived growth factor and platelet-derived growth factor receptor-β,transforming growth factor-βsignaling pathway,Wnt signaling pathway,and the axis of heat shock protein 70-Toll-like receptors 2/*** review will improve the understanding of the pathogenesis of subretinal fibrosis,allow the discovery of molecular targets,and explore potential treatments for the management of subretinal fibrosis.

AIM:To assess the relationship between dietary inflammatory index(DII)and prevalence of glaucoma among individuals aged 40y and above in the United ***:Participants were drawn from 2 cycles of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(NHANES,2005-2008)for a cross-sectional *** was calculated from 24-hour dietary recall questionnaire conducted by experienced researchers and data analyzed in R according to the NHANES user guide,“Stratified Multi-stage Probability Sampling”.The relationship between DII and glaucoma was evaluated by multi-factor logistic regression analysis and the existence of a non-linear association examined by restricted cubic spline(RCS)***:A total of 5359 subjects were included and the cross-sectional analysis weighted to represent the US population of 109 *** was elevated in glaucoma patients(P<0.001)and smoking and alcohol use contributed to significant differences(P<0.001).DII correlated negatively with Healthy Eating Index(HEI)-2015(Spearman rank correlation coefficient,r=-0.49).RCS analysis showed a linear relationship between DII and glaucoma risk(P of non-linear relationship=0.575).CONCLUSION:An increased DII is strongly associated with high risk of glaucoma and diet-induced inflammation should be controlled to delay glaucoma progression.

Influence of Synoptic Pattern on the Spatiotemporal Features and Diurnal Variation of Extremely Persistent Heavy Rainfall over the Sichuan Basin, China

The Sichuan Basin (SCB), China has a high incidence of extremely persistent heavy rainfall (EPHR) events. The EPHR events from 2009 to 2019 in the SCB were mainly concentrated over the northern and northwestern windward slopes and the central basin. They occurred from June to September, but especially in July, and peaked at 0300 LST. ERA5 reanalysis data and objective classification were used to investigate the synoptic patterns and their effects. There were three synoptic patterns during EPHR events, all accompanied by a Southwest Vortex. The location and intensity of the Southwest Vortex, thermal forcing of the Tibetan Plateau (TP), and low-level winds can greatly affect the intensity and spatial distribution of EPHR. When the Southwest Vortex was located in the western SCB and there were southerly low-level jets (LLJs), convergence and upslope wind would lead to EPHR over the northwestern or northern windward slopes. If there was no LLJ and the whole SCB was under the center of the Southwest Vortex, nocturnal EPHR was controlled by the internal circulation of the Southwest Vortex and the updraft generated by the thermal forcing of the TP, and the rainfall was weaker. The southeastern entrance of the SCB was a key area where the low-level wind dominated the nocturnal peak of EPHR. The nocturnal strengthened southeasterly wind in the key area is attributable to inertial oscillation, and the topographic friction plays an essential role in transporting momentum and moisture into the basin by generating easterly and northeasterly ageostrophic winds.
