For the first time we fabricated ZnO membranes with thicknesses of 2.4 nm by a facile one-pot synthesis in aqueous *** crystal analysis revealed that the hexagonal ZnO membranes were about 10 atomic layers in *** ZnO membranes bent,scrolled,intersected with each other,and self-assembled to particles in micrometre *** hierarchical assemblies showed sponge-like structures with room *** the growth process,a cationic polyelectrolyte was utilized to modulate growth behavior of the ZnO *** a result,the preferred growth direction of ZnO membranes is along 0110,which was perpendicular to[0001]growth direction in a typical hydrothermal *** growth mechanism of the membranes was also discussed.

Ti O2 nanowire(NW) is one of the potential scattering layer materials in dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs) owing to its fast electron conductivity and excellent light scattering property resulting from its one-dimensional(1D) morphology. However, Ti O2 NWs used as scattering layers in previous work were either aggregated or shortened into shuttles that cannot use their unique 1D properties. In this paper, we present the preparation of a well-dispersed long NW paste(exceeding 1 ?m) by a mild method and used as a scattering layer in DSSC. The paste achieved a photoconversion efficiency of 5.73% and an efficiency enhancement of 12% compared with commercial scattering layer(P200 paste). Compared with the DSSC without a scattering layer, an efficiency enhancement of 54.9% was achieved. Also, the largest efficiency of 6.89% was obtained after optimization of photoanode thickness. The photoanodes were investigated through dye desorbed experiments and transmission spectra, which suggested that P25 nanoparticles with the as-prepared NW scattering layer loaded more dye than those with P200 paste. These results indicate that well-dispersed long NW paste has a potential application in scattering layers.

Freezing and crystallization of commercial ethylene carbonate-based binary electrolytes,leading to irreversible damage to lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),remain a significant challenge for the survival of energy storage devices at extremely low temperatures(<−40°C).Herein,a decimal solvent-based high-entropy electrolyte is developed with an unprecedented low freezing point of−130°C to significantly extend the service temperature range of LIBs,far superior to−30°C of the commercial *** from conventional electrolytes,this molecularly disordered solvent mixture greatly suppresses the freezing crystallization of electrolytes,providing good protection for LIBs from possible mechanical damage at extremely low *** from this,our high-entropy electrolyte exhibits extraordinarily high ionic conductivity of 0.62 mS·cm−1 at−60°C,several orders of magnitude higher than the frozen commercial ***,LIBs utilizing decimal electrolytes can be charged and discharged even at an ultra-low temperature of−60°C,maintaining high capacity retention(∼80%at−40°C)as well as remarkable rate *** study provides design strategies of low-temperature electrolytes to extend the service temperature range of LIBs,creating a new avenue for improving the survival and operation of various energy storage systems under extreme environmental conditions.

The middle and lower reaches of the Tarim River are currently one of the main regions of ecological restoration in the arid areas of western *** the principles and method of landscape ecology,this study has chosen the fluvial corridor landscape in the middle and lower reaches of the Tarim River,and discusses the region’s ecologically functional regionalization system and issues related to its practical *** this basis the corresponding regionalizing principles and standards were developed which were used to qualitatively divide the three main landscapes as the ecologically functional areas in the drainage *** paper has also analyzed the characteristic of the study areas,and has put forward the measures for its ecological restoration.

Dabaoshan Mine,the largest mine in south China,has been developed since the *** mine drainage （AMD） discharged from the mine has caused severe environmental pollution and human health *** this article,chemical characteristics,mineralogy of ocher precipitations and heavy metal attenuation in the AMD are discussed based on physicochemical analysis,mineral analysis,sequential extraction experiments and *** AMD chemical characteristics were determined from the initial water composition,water-rock interactions and dissolved sulfide minerals in the mine *** waters,affected and unaffected by AMD,were Ca-SO4 and Ca-HCO3 types,*** affected water had a low pH,high SO42 and high heavy metal content and oxidation as determined by the Fe^2＋ /Fe^3＋ *** metal and SO4^2- contents of Hengshi River water decreased,while pH increased,*** was the major mineral at the waste dump,while goethite and quartz were dominant at the tailings dam and *** was transformed into goethite at the tailings dam and *** sulfate ions of the secondary minerals changed from bidentate-to monodentate-complexes ***-Mn oxide phases of Zn,Cd and Pb in sediments increased ***,organic matter complexes of Cu in sediments increased further away from the ***^3＋ mineral precipitates and transformations controlled the AMD water chemistry.

In general, the initiation or closure of antibiotic biosynthesis is determined by regulatory proteins, but most of their mechanisms of action remain unknown. The 2-deoxystreptamine-containing aminoglycosides（2-DOS AGs） form a unique category among antibiotics. Genomic analysis revealed that a group of hypothetical regulatory genes represented by neo I are widely distributed in the biosynthetic gene clusters（BGCs） of natural products from Streptomyces species, including several 2-DOS AGs. Only limited knowledge is available for the roles of Neo Itype regulators although neomycin and some of the related AGs have been developed as therapeutic drugs for decades. This study focuses on the functional determination of neo I and its homologues situated in the BGCs of six AGs. We found that the yield of neomycin in neo I disruption mutant（Δneo I） increased by 50% compared to the wild-type（WT） strain(（420.6±44.1） mg L-1), while it was partially restored by the complementation of neo I, demonstrating that Neo I acted as a repressor in neomycin biosynthesis. Further electrophoretic mobility shift assays（EMSAs） and DNase I footprinting assays indicated that Neo I could specifically bind to the promoter region between neo E and neo I with conserved nucleotides（5'-CVHYMRCHDKAGYGGACR-3'）, as determined by site-directed mutagenesis. Interestingly, cross-bindings of the Neo I homologues from the six different BGCs to their corresponding DNA targets were manifested, and the five exogenous Neo I homologues could complement Neo I function of repressing neomycin biosynthesis. Our results suggested that Neo I-type regulators represent widespread and conservative regulatory characteristics in the biosynthesis of 2-DOS AGs, which would be significant for optimizing the biosynthetic pathways of valuable commercialized aminoglycoside antibiotics.

Due to the extrinsic contribution of domain wall motions to electro-strains,the incompatibility of the large electro-strain with a low hysteresis in piezoelectric ceramics is a stumbling block for designing high-performance piezoelectrical ***,we report a critical state in relaxor ferroelectric systems enables to enhance the electro-strain and to reduce the hysteresis simultaneously.A room temperature ergodic relaxor state dominated by nanodomains with different local symmetries can be obtained by introducing Bi(Zn_(1/2)Ti_(1/2))TiO_(3) into 0.73 Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_(3)-0.27PbTiO_(3) *** the morphotropic phase boundary(MPB)in ferroelectrics,the coexistence of different local symmetries is capable of facilitating the transition from the ergodic relaxor state to the ferroelectric under the applied field due to the ease of polarization rotation,thereby leading to a giant electro-stain(0.24%)under an electric field of 50 kV/***,the field-induced ferroelectric state with the long-range ferroelectric order can spontaneously reverse back to the initial ergodic relaxor state during unloading the electric field,which contributes to a low hysteresis(15.4%).The present work not only introduces a solid solution system with excellent electro-strain properties but also affords a guidance for manipulating the electro-strain behavior by modulating phase structures and domain configurations of piezoelectric ceramics.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the curative effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) multi-channel interventional therapy on women with Assisted Reproductive Technology(ART) failure, to compare the curative effect of the dual therapy and triple therapy on women with ART Failure, and to choose the best TCM interventional therapeutic ***: The 95 cases with ART Failure from West China second University Hospital of Sichuan University meeting the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into three groups:dual therapy group(31 cases), triple therapy group(33 cases)and control group(31 cases). According to the intervene treatment of in vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer(IVF-ET) long cycle scheme, the control group wait naturally for 3 months before IVFET. The dual therapy group take TCM prescriptionⅡ of cultivating emotion and assisting reproduction and auricular acupoint therapy for 3 months before IVF-ET, then Western Medicine treatment progestin supporting as well as auricular application and Antai Recipe after IVF-ET *** triple therapy group take TCM prescription Ⅱof cultivated emotion and assisted reproduction,auricular acupoint therapy and retention enema of TCM, and combination treatment the same as dual therapy group after transplantation. The natural pregnancy number, the period condition of secondary IVF-ET and the improvement of the kidney deficiency, liver depression and blood stasis syndrome among those three groups were ***: It was showed from analysis in 95 cases with ART failure that the number of natural preg-nancy was as followings: 3 patients from the dual therapy group, 10 patients from the triple therapy group, and no patient from the control group.
