This study systematically introduces the development of the world’s first full-link and full-system ground demonstration and verification system for the OMEGA space solar power satellite(SSPS).First,the OMEGA 2.0 innovation design was ***,field-coupling theoretical models of sunlight concentration,photoelectric conversion,and transmitting antennas were established,and a systematic optimization design method was ***,a beam waveform optimization methodology considering both a high beam collection efficiency and a circular stepped beam shape was ***,a control strategy was developed to control the condenser pointing toward the sun while maintaining the transmitting antenna toward the ***,a high-efficiency heat radiator design method based on bionics and topology optimization was ***,a method for improving the rectenna array’s reception,rectification,and direct current(DC)power synthesis efficiencies is ***,high-precision measurement technology for high-accuracy beam-pointing control was ***,a smart mechanical structure was designed and ***,the developed SSPS ground demonstration and verification system has the capacity for sun tracking,a high concentration ratio,photoelectric conversion,microwave conversion and emission,microwave reception,and rectification,and thus satisfactory results were obtained.

A set of laboratory experiments are carried out to investigate the effect of following/opposing currents on wave *** vegetation canopies with aligned and staggered configurations were tested under the condition of various regular wave heights and current velocities,with the constant water depth being 0.60 m to create the desired submerged *** show that the vegetation-induced wave dissipation is enhanced with the increasing incident wave height.A larger velocity magnititude leads to a greater wave height attenuation for both following and opposing current ***,there is a strong positive linear correlation between the damping coefficientβand the relative wave height H_(0)/h,especially for pure wave *** the velocity profile,the distributions of U_(min)and U_(max)show different patterns under combined wave and *** time-averaged turbulent kinetic energy(TKE)vary little under pure wave and U_(c)=±0.05 m/s *** the increase of flow velocity amplitude,the time-averaged TKE shows a particularly pronounced increase trend at the top of the *** vegetation drag coefficients are obtained by a calibration *** empirical relations of drag coefficient with Reynolds and Keulegane-Carpenter numbers are proposed to further understand the wave-current-vegetation interaction mechanism.

Neurological manifestations of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)are less noticeable than the respiratory symptoms,but they may be associated with disability and mortality in *** though Omicron caused less severe disease than Delta,the incidence of neurological manifestations is *** than 30%of patients experienced“brain fog”,delirium,stroke,and cognitive impairment,and over half of these patients presented abnormal neuroimaging *** this review,we summarize current advances in the clinical findings of neurological manifestations in COVID-19 patients and compare them with those in patients with influenza *** also illustrate the structure and cellular invasion mechanisms of SARS-CoV-2 and describe the pathway for central SARS-CoV-2 *** addition,we discuss direct damage and other pathological conditions caused by SARS-CoV-2,such as an aberrant interferon response,cytokine storm,lymphopenia,and hypercoagulation,to provide treatment *** review may offer new insights into preventing or treating brain damage in COVID-19.

Indole-derived radical cations, open-shell reactive species, display distinctive dual reactivity due to the carbon-centered radical and more electrophilic carbocation, which frequently appear in a variety of single electron oxidation reactions for synthesizing structurally diverse functionalized indoles and indolines. Electrocatalysis is considered as a synthetically attractive and environmentally friendly alternative for driving the single electron oxidation of indoles. Remarkable achievements in electrocatalytic indolederived radical cation-mediated indole functionalization have been realized so far. This review comprehensively summarizes the recent progresses in the applications of electrocatalytic indole radical cations,including C(sp~2)–H functionalization, dearomative 2,3-difunctionalization, and ring-opening reaction, emphasizing the vital single electron oxidation steps of indoles, the substrates scope and limitations, and the reaction mechanisms.

Recent studies have demonstrated that neuroplasticity,such as synaptic plasticity and neurogenesis,exists throughout the normal lifespan but declines with age and is significantly impaired in individuals with Alzheimer’s ***,promoting neuroplasticity may represent an effective strategy with which Alzheimer’s disease can be *** to their significant ability to self-renew,differentiate,and migrate,neural stem cells play an essential role in reversing synaptic and neuronal damage,reducing the pathology of Alzheimer’s disease,including amyloid-β,tau protein,and neuroinflammation,and secreting neurotrophic factors and growth factors that are related to *** events can promote synaptic plasticity and neurogenesis to repair the microenvironment of the mammalian ***,neural stem cells are considered to represent a potential regenerative therapy with which to improve Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative *** this review,we discuss how neural stem cells regulate neuroplasticity and optimize their effects to enhance their potential for treating Alzheimer’s disease in the clinic.

With the expansion and implementation of rural revitalization strategies,there is a constant need for new energy sources for the construction of new ***,integrated energy systems with the interconnection and interaction of multiple energy sources are developing *** energy,a renewable green energy source with low pollution and wide distribution,has significant application potential in integrated energy *** the application of biomass energy in townships,this study established an integrated biomass energy system and proposed a model to optimize its *** economic cost and highest clean energy utilization rate were considered as the objective *** addition,a plan was suggested to adjust the heat-electricity ratio based on the characteristics of the combined heat and power of the ***,a simulation analysis conducted for a town in China was discussed,demonstrating that the construction of a township integrated-energy system and the use of biomass can significantly reduce operating costs and improve the energy utilization ***,by adjusting the heat-electricity ratio,the economic cost was further reduced by 6.70%,whereas the clean energy utilization rate was increased by 5.14%.

The construction of highly stable and efficient electrocatalysts is desirable for seawater splitting but remains challenging due to the high concentration of Cl-in ***,FeOOH/Ni(OH)_(2)heterostructure supported on Ni_(3)S_(2)-covered nickel foam(Fe–Ni/Ni_(3)S_(2)/NF)was fabricated by hydrothermal and etching methods,as well as anodic oxidation *** electronic structure of FeOOH and Ni(OH)_(2)could be modulated after depositing FeOOH nanoparticles on Ni(OH)_(2)nanosheet,which greatly boosted the catalytic *** the catalyst used as an electrode for oxygen evolution reaction(OER),it needed low overpotentials of 266 and 368 m V to achieve current densities of 100 and 800 m A·cm^(-2),respectively,in 1 mol·L^(-1)KOH+seawater *** can operate continuously at 100 m A·cm^(-2)for 400 h without obvious ***,in situ generated SO_(4)^(2-)from inner Ni_(3)S_(2)during electrolysis process would accumulate on the surface of active sites to form passivation layers to repel Cl^(-),which seemed to be responsible for superior *** study not only synthesizes an OER catalyst for highly selective and stable seawater splitting,but also gives a novel approach for industrial hydrogen production.

Over the past two decades,immunotherapies have increasingly been considered as first-line treatments for most *** such treatment is immune checkpoint blockade(ICB),which has demonstrated promising results against various solid tumors in clinical *** antibodies(mAbs)are currently available as immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs).These ICIs target specific immune checkpoints,including cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen-4(CTLA-4)and programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1).Clinical trial results strongly support the feasibility of this immunotherapeutic ***,a substantial proportion of patients with cancer develop resistance or tolerance to treatment,owing to tumor immune evasion mechanisms that counteract the host immune ***,substantial research focus has been aimed at identifying additional ICIs or synergistic inhibitory receptors to enhance the effectiveness of anti-PD-1,anti-programmed cell death ligand 1(anti-PD-L1),and anti-CTLA-4 ***,several immune checkpoint molecular targets have been identified,such as T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains(TIGIT),mucin domain containing-3(TIM-3),lymphocyte activation gene-3(LAG-3),V-domain immunoglobulin suppressor of T cell activation(VISTA),B and T lymphocyte attenuator(BTLA),and signal-regulatory proteinα(SIRPα).Functional m Abs targeting these molecules are under ***-4,PD-1/PD-L1,and other recently discovered immune checkpoint proteins with distinct structures are at the forefront of *** review discusses these structures,as well as clinical progress in m Abs targeting these immune checkpoint molecules and their potential applications.
