The inner shelf mud wedge(ISMW)located in the East China Sea(ECS)is the fine-grained sedimentary area with high sedimentation rate and has provided an ideal study area for understanding the East Asian Summer Monsoon(EASM)evolution during the *** this paper,we presented the high-resolution geochemical data of the sediments from the core MD06-3040 in the ISMW of the ECS determined by X-ray fluorescence core scanning(XRF-CS)analysis,a high-resolution,continuous,and multielement *** and factor analysis results reveal that the variations of elemental compositions(Al,Si,K,Ti,Fe),the elemental ratios of Al/Zr,Ca/Ti and Rb/Sr,and the factor scores(F1 are correlated with the changes of the EASM during the period of 6000–1300 cal yr *** higher values of geochemical compositions indicating the terrigenous inputs implied the intensification of anthropogenic activities after 1300 cal yr ***,the significant decrease of most geochemical compositions and the F1 factor scores during 4500–3500 cal yr BP and 1700–1500 cal yr BP,within the dating errors,coincided with the weak EASM events(presumably drought and cold events).The spectral analysis results of K concentrations,Al/Zr ratios and F1 factor scores show the millennial and centennial climatic fluctuations,which are consistent with other marine sedimentary records in the adjacent *** the findings show that the geochemical compositions of sediments from core MD06-3040 are influenced by the EASM evolution,the variable El Niño/Southern Oscillation(ENSO)and the local oceanic thermohaline circulation(e.g.,Kuroshio Current).These results are greatly helpful in uncovering the forcing mechanism of the monsoonal climate in the east China over the Holocene and also contribute to the understanding of EASM variability.

In this study, citric acid was used as a dispersant to improve the flotation performance of hematite fines. The effect and mechanism of citric acid on the reverse flotation of hematite fines were investigated by flotation tests, sedimentation experiments, scanning electron microscopy（SEM）, zeta-potential measurements, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）. The results of SEM analysis and flotation tests reveal that a strong heterocoagulation in the form of slime coating or coagulation in hematite fine slurry affects the beneficiation of hematite ores by froth flotation. The addition of a small amount of citric acid（less than 300 g/t） favorably affects the reverse flotation of hematite fines by improving particle dispersion. The results of sedimentation experiments, zeta-potential measurements, and XPS measurements demonstrate that citric acid adsorbs onto hematite and quartz surfaces via hydrogen bonding, thereby reducing the zeta potentials of mineral surfaces, strengthening the electrical double-layer repulsion between mineral particles, and dispersing the pulp particles.

AIM： To observe the attenuation of ethanol extract of Herba Scutellaria barbata （SE） against diabetic retinopathy （DR） and its engaged mechanism. METHODS： C57BL/6J mice were intraperitoneally injected with streptozotocin （STZ, 55 mg/kg） for 5 consecutive days to induce diabetes, The diabetic mice were orally given with SE （100, 200 mg/kg） for lmo at lmo after STZ injection. Blood-retinal barrier （BRB） breakdown was detected by using Evans blue permeation assay. Real-time polymerase chain reaction （RT-PCR）, Western blot and immunofiuorescence staining were used to detect mRNA and protein expression. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA） was used to detect serum contents of tumor necrosis factor-e （TNF-a） and interleukin （IL）-II. RESULTS： SE （100, 200 mg/kg） reversed the breakdown of BRB in STZ-induced diabetic mice. The decreased expression of retinal claudin-1 and claudin-19, which are both tight junction （T J） proteins, was reversed by SE. SE decreased the increased serum contents and retinal mRNA expression of TNF-a and IL-113. SE also decreased the increased retinal expression of intercellular cell adhesion molecule-1 （ICAM-1）. SE reduced the increased phosphorylation of nuclear factor kappa B （NFKB） p65 and its subsequent nuclear translocation in retinas from STZ- induced diabetic mice. Results of Western blot and retinal immunofluorescence staining of ionized calcium-binding adapter molecule 1 （Ibal） demonstrated that SE abrogated the activation of microglia cells in STZ-induced diabetic mice. CONCLUSION： SE attenuates the development of DR by inhibiting retinal inflammation and restoring the decreased expression of TJ proteins including claudin-1 and claudin-19.

The Ningshao Plain experienced sea-level fluctuation and climate change in the Holocene and gave birth to a Neolithic Civilization, the Hemudu Culture (about 5000 BC). Using XRD method, this paper studied the clay mineralogy of sediments in core HMD-1301 from Hemudu Site area in Ningshao Plain. Results show that the clay mineral assemblages in all samples are quite consistent. They are dominated by illite (about 57%) and smectite (about 26%), and a small amount of kaolinite (about 6%) and chlorite (about 9%). In addition, illite, chlorite, and kaolinite are originated mainly from eolian loesses. Smectite is resulted mainly from chemical weathering of local volcanic rocks outcropped. Illite crystallinity indicates the climatic characteristics of the source region, and illite chemistry index reflects the climate nature of the sedimentary area. It is our understanding that water medium properties in a sedimentary environment affect clay mineral assemblage and the distribution, based on which were cognized the Holocene transgression-regression events in the Hemudu Site area. These mineral indices are well comparable with geochemical indicators in identifying the transgression-regression events. We believe that these events affected the ancient civilization of the ancient residential communities at the time.

Aims The effects of biocrusts on vascular plants are rarely evaluated in coastal saline *** aim was to examine whether and how a mosaic of biocrusts affect seed germination of two typical herbaceous plants in a coastal saline land of the Yellow River Delta,to enhance our understanding by which substrate heterogeneity influences plant community *** We conducted growth chamber experiments to investigate the effects of biocrusts and uncrusted soil from bare patch-,Phragmites australis-,Suaeda glauca-and Tamarix chinensis-dominated habitats on seed germination percentage and mean germination time of two herbaceous plants:the perennial *** and the annual *** also explored the mechanisms underlying the effects of substrate on seed *** Findings Compared with uncrusted soil,biocrusts increased water content,nutrient accumulation and concentration of most salt ions,but they reduced soil pH *** with mosses directly decreased soil pH value and concentration of Mg2+,resulting in an indirect increase in seed germination percentage of *** low soil pH value also resulted in an indirect decrease in seed germination speed of *** in their own *** patch directly increased accumulation of Cl?,resulting in an indirect decrease in seed germination speed of *** results suggest that biocrusts with mosses in *** habitats offer a window of opportunity for germination of *** combined with habitat type have the potential to influence plant community structure through an effect on seed germination and establishment.

AIM： To evaluate the possible role of Tribble 3 （TRB3） in a rat model of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease （NAFLD） and its signal transduction ***： Thirty Sprague-Dawley rats were randomized into three groups： normal control group, non-alcoholic fatty liver group A （fed on a high-fat diet for 8 wk） and group B （fed on a high-fat diet for 16 wk）. To determine the degree of hepatic steatosis in rats of each group, livers were stained with hematoxylin and eosin, and evaluated; real-time fluorescent quantitative reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction was performed to measure the expression levels of TRI33 mRNA, and Western blotting analysis was done to determine the expression levels of protein kinase B （Akt） and phosphorylated protein kinase B （p-Akt-Thr308, p-Akt-Ser473）.RESULTS： Hepatic steatosis was evident in both NAFLD groups： mild to moderate hepatic steatosis occurred in group A, mainly as mild *** to severe hepatic steatosis occurred in group B, mainly as severe steatosis. The expression level of TRB3 mRNA in group B was significantly higher than in the control group （122.28 ± 95.37 vs 3.06 ± 2.33,P = 0.002） and group A （122.28 ± 95.37 vs 5.77 ± 4.20,P = 0.001）. There was no significant difference in the expression levels of Akt （1.03 ± 0.53 vs 1.12 ± 0.77,P = 0.729） and p-Akt-Thr308 （0.82 ± 0.45 vs 0.92 ± 0.38, P = 0.592） between group A and the control group. The expression level of Akt and p-Akt-Thr308 in group B was significantly lower than in group A （Akt 0.41 ± 0.16 vs 1.12 ± 0.77, P = 0.008; p-Akt-Thr308 0.47 ± 0.19 vs 0.82 ± 0.45, P = 0.036） and the control group （Akt 0.41 ± 0.16 vs 1.03 ± 0.53, P = 0.018;p-Akt-Thr308 0.47 ± 0.19 vs 0.92 ± 0.38, P = 0.010）.The expression level of p-Akt-Ser473 in group A was significantly higher than in group B （1.48 ± 0.50 vs 0.81± 0.39, P = 0.041） as well as the control group （1.48 ± 0.50 vs 0.45 ± 0.26, P = 0.003）.CONCLUSION： TRB3 blocks insulin signaling by inhibiting Akt activat

可靠的年代地层框架是开展南黄海地区第四纪环境演变研究的基础。目前南黄海南部地区缺乏可靠年代学控制的长序列钻孔。通过对南黄海南部SYS90-1A孔(孔深90.1 m)沉积物开展详细的磁性地层学研究,并结合AMS14C测年结果及区域已有磁性地层学结果,建立南黄海南部地区第四纪沉积物年代地层框架。结果显示,SYS90-1A孔岩芯记录了从布容(Brunhes)正极性时至松山(Matuyama)负极性时上部,包括Kamikatsura和Santa Rosa地磁漂移事件。早、中更新世界线即布容正极性时与松山负极性时界线(B/M界线)深度位于74.2 m,Kamikatsura和Santa Rosa地磁漂移事件深度分别位于79.75~82.47 m和85.25~87.74 m。根据Kamikatsura和Santa Rosa地磁漂移事件的年代控制点和平均沉积速率,推算钻孔底部年龄为0.96 Ma。南黄海SYS90-1A孔早更新世晚期的沉积速率约为8.66 cm/ka,中更新世以来的沉积速率约为9.5 cm/ka,而全新世以来的沉积速率为12.8 cm/ka,沉积速率自早更新世晚期以来呈增加趋势。这一结果不仅为南黄海南部第四纪沉积物研究提供了有效的年代学约束,而且为南黄海地区第四纪地层划分和对比、沉积环境与气候变化、物源示踪等研究提供了重要的时间标尺。

目的探究协作式术前访视方案在冠心病经皮冠状动脉介入术(PCI)患者术前准备中的应用效果。方法回顾性分析2022年5月至2023年12月在湖南省人民医院接受冠心病PCI的100例患者的临床资料,根据是否开展协作式术前访视分为观察组和对照组各50例,对照组由病房护士常规予以简单的术前宣教,观察组给予协作式术前访视,比较两组患者对本次手术的知晓度、术前准备质量、术前访视满意度,以及干预前及干预后(进手术室时)的心率(HR)、舒张压(DBP)、收缩压(SBP)和平均动脉压(MAP)变化;采用焦虑自评量表(SAS)评估两组患者干预前及干预后(进手术室时)的情绪变化。结果观察组患者的访视内容知晓度、术前准备质量、术前访视满意度得分分别为(13.67±1.68)分、(11.63±1.74)分、(8.67±1.45)分,均明显高于对照组的(11.55±0.30)分、(9.53±0.26)分、(6.39±0.25)分,差异有统计学意义(P0.05);干预后,两组的HR、DBP、SBP、MAP水平均明显降低,且观察组患者的HR、DBP、SBP、MAP分别为(84.63±4.74)次/min、(131.66±11.68)mmHg、(84.66±4.65)mm Hg、(110.66±12.63)mm Hg,明显低于对照组的(95.53±4.26)次/min、(136.39±14.67)mmHg、(96.39±4.23)mmHg、(117.39±12.54)mmHg,差异有统计学意义(P0.05),干预后,两组患者的SAS评分均明显降低,且观察组患者的SAS评分为(48.34±4.27)分,明显低于对照组的(59.17±6.21)分,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论协作式术前访视方案有助于提高冠心病PCI患者术前准备质量,减轻患者心血管应激反应,改善其焦虑情绪,节省术前准备时间,促进手术的顺利进行。
