Ubiquitous augmented reality(UAR)implementation can benefit smart shop floor operations *** from a user's first-person view can support and provide the user with suitable and comprehensive information without him/her being distracted from ongoing tasks.A natural hand-based interaction interface,namely,a mobile bare-hand interface(MBHI),is proposed to assist a user in exploring and navigating a large amount of information for a task in the user's first-person *** integration of a smart shop floor and UAR-based MBHI is particularly challenging.A real shop floor environment is composed of challenging conditions for the implementation of UAR,e.g.,messy backgrounds and significant changes in illumination ***,the MBHI is required to provide precise and quick responses to minimize the dificulty of a user's *** this study,a wearable UAR system integrated with an MBH is proposed to augment the shop floor environment with smart information.A case study is implemented to demonstrate the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed UAR and MBHI system.

In the past two decades, augmented reality （AR） has received a growing amount of attention by researchers in the manufacturing technology community, because AR can be applied to address a wide range of problems throughout the assembly phase in the lifecycle of a product, e.g., planning, design, ergonomics assessment, operation guidance and training. However, to the best of authors＇ knowledge, there has not been any comprehensive review of AR-based assembly systems. This paper aims to provide a concise overview of the technical features, characteristics and broad range of applications of AR- based assembly systems published between 1990 and 2015. Among these selected articles, two thirds of them were published between 2005 and 2015, and they are considered as recent pertinent works which will be discussed in detail. In addition, the current limitation factors and future trends in the development will also be discussed.

Objective:To investigate anti-multidrug resistance(MDR)activity and safety of the bioactive fraction(CL11)from Codiaeum luzonicum crude leaf ***:Cytotoxic activity of CL11 against MDR and nonresistant colon cancer cells was assessed using MTT *** of cell death was investigated by annexin V-propidium iodide staining,TUNeL,and JC-1 *** examine mechanism of action,the effect on the expression and function of the MDR-implicated protein P-glycoprotein was tested using Western blotting and calcein assay,***:CL11 had an eC50 of 0.18,1.03 and 38.52µg/mL against HCT-15,HCT-15/Dox and HCT116,*** was mediated by inhibition of P-glycoprotein function and *** mode of cell death involved mitochondrial membrane depolarization and was mostly non-apoptotic at eC50 concentrations against HCT-15 and HCT-15/***:Fraction CL11 of Codiaeum luzonicum induces nonapoptotic cell death in MDR cancer cells by overcoming MDR through inhibition of P-glycoprotein expression and function.

Oxidation of organic pollutants by sulfate radicals produced via activation of persulfate has emerged as a promising advanced oxidation technology to address various challenging environmental issues. The development of an effective, environmentally-friendly, metal-free catalyst is the key to this technology. Additionally, a supported catalyst design is more advantageous than conventional suspended powder catalysts from the point of view of mass transfer and practical engineering applications （e.g. post-use separation）. In this study, a metal-free N-doped reduced graphene oxide （N-rGO） catalyst was prepared via a facile hydrothermal method. N-rGO filters were then synthesized by facile vacuum filtration, such that water can flow through nanochannels within the filters. Various advanced characterization techniques were employed to obtain structural and compositional information of the as-synthesized N-rGO filters. An optimized phenol oxidative flux of 0.036 ＋_ 0.002 mmol.h ~ was obtained by metal-flee catalytic activation of persulfate at an influent persulfate concentration of 1.0 mmol-L 1 and filter weight of 15 rag, while a N-free rGO filter demonstrated negligible phenol oxidation capability under similar conditions. Compared to a conventional batch system, the flow-through design demonstrates obviously enhanced oxidation kinetics （0.036 vs. 0.010 retool-h-I）, mainly due to the liquid flow through the filter leading to convection-enhanced transfer of the target molecule to the filter active sites. Overall, the results exemplified the advantages of organic compound removal by catalytic activation of persulfate using a metal-free catalyst in flow- through mode, and demonstrated the potential of N-rGO filters for practical environmental applications.

The objective of this study was to compare the wood properties related to wood pulp quality of two widely planted Acacia species *** mangium *** Acacia auriculiformis *** *** their *** insoluble lignin content(Klason),mean stem density and fibre length differed considerably among the species and *** possessed a high percent of lignin content compared to *** and the Acacia ***,mean stem density of *** was higher than *** and the *** length of heartwood tissues was generally shorter than that of sapwood *** hybrid had longer fibres than the parent *** was negatively correlated with mean stem ***,the wood properties of the hybrid were superior to its parent *** significant intraspecific variation observed for wood properties of Acacia species could be used in breeding superior hybrids combining desirable traits of the two *** thedifficulty involved in accurately measuring the lignin content compared to mean stem density,selection for plants with low lignin content can be achieved by indirect selection of high mean stem density.
