Regulation of Ti(C,N)deposition on hot surface of refractory in blast furnace hearth

Ti(C,N)concentration was found to be lower on the hearth sidewall of a blast furnace and increased gradually toward the bottom of the blast *** Ti(C,N)protective layer in a blast furnace is ***,the formation of a Ti(C,N)protective layer was promoted by studying the heterogeneous nucleation principle of titanium compounds on different substances and regulation measures for the deposition process of titanium compounds on refractories or *** lattice disregistry between the titanium compounds and the main components in the refractory or the main impurities in the protective layer was calculated using a two-dimensional disregistry equation to study the heterogeneous nucleation principle of titanium *** results revealed that in refractory materials,the heterogeneous nucleation of carbonitride is weak when C,SiO_(2),and Al_(2)O_(3) are used as heterogeneous nucleation substrates,and the heterogeneous nucleation of carbonitride is strong when TiO_(2) and SiC are used as heterogeneous nucleation *** nucleation phases,TiC,TiN,Ti(C_(0.3),N_(0.7)),and Ti(C_(0.5),N_(0.5))have similar heterogeneous nucleation ability in single component refractory,and the type of carbonitride has little effect on the lattice *** impurities in the protective layer as the substrate phases are not conducive to the heterogeneous nucleation of *** CaS was used as the substrate phase,the heterogeneous nucleation ability of carbonitride was the *** carbon and alumina were not conducive to the heterogeneous nucleation of carbonitride,but carbon was more unfavourable than alumina.

Delayed and nonhealing of diabetic wounds imposes substantial economic burdens and physical pain on *** stem cells(MSCs)promote diabetic wound *** when MSCs aggregate into multicellular spheroids,their therapeutic effect is ***,traditional culture platforms are inadequate for the efficient preparation and delivery of MSC spheroids,resulting in inefficiencies and inconveniences in MSC spheroid *** this study,a three-dimensional porous nanofibrous dressing(NFD)is prepared using a combination of electrospinning and homogeneous *** thermal crosslinking,the NFD not only achieves satisfactory elasticity but also maintains notable *** the design of its structure and chemical composition,the NFD allows MSCs to spontaneously form MSC spheroids with controllable sizes,serving as MSC spheroid delivery systems for diabetic wound *** importantly,MSC spheroids cultured on the NFD exhibit improved secretion of vascular endothelial growth factor,basic fibroblast growth factor,and hepatocyte growth factor,thereby accelerating diabetic wound *** NFD provides a competitive strategy for MSC spheroid formation and delivery to promote diabetic wound healing.

Oleuropein alleviates sepsis-induced acute lung injury via the AMPK/Nrf-2/HO-1 signaling

Objective:To explore the effect of oleuropein on sepsis-induced acute lung injury(ALI)in vitro and in vivo and investigate the underlying ***:In an lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-mediated cell model of sepsis-induced ALI and a cecal ligation and puncture-induced mouse model of septic ALI,CCK-8 assay and flow cytometry analysis were used to detect cell activity and *** and relevant assay kits were used to measure the levels of inflammatory cytokines and oxidative stress,*** blot was applied to determine the expression of apoptosis-and AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)/nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor-2(Nrf-2)/heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)signaling-associated ***-1 staining,adenosine triphosphate(ATP)assay kit,and MitoSOx Red assays were performed to detect mitochondrial membrane potential,ATP content,and mitochondrial ROS formation,***,lung injury was evaluated by measuring lung morphological alternations,lung wet-to-dry ratio,myeloperoxidase content,and total protein ***:Oleuropein reduced inflammatory reaction,oxidative damage,and apoptosis,and ameliorated mitochondrial dysfunction in LPS-exposed BEAS-2B cells and mice with septic ***,oleuropein activated the AMPK/Nrf-2/HO-1 signaling ***,these effects of oleuropein were abrogated by an AMPK inhibitor compound ***:Oleuropein can protect against sepsis-induced ALI in vitro and in vivo by activating the AMPK/Nrf-2/HO-1 signaling,which might be a potential therapeutic agent for the treatment of sepsis-induced ALI.

Unraveling the efficiency losses and improving methods in quantum dot-based infrared up-conversion photodetectors

Quantum dot-based up-conversion photodetector,in which an infrared photodiode(PD)and a quantum dot light-emitting diode(QLED)are back-to-back connected,is a promising candidate for low-cost infrared ***,the huge efficiency losses caused by integrating the PD and QLED together hasn’t been studied *** work revealed at least three origins for the efficiency ***,the PD unit and QLED unit usually didn’t work under optimal conditions at the same ***,the potential barriers and traps at the interconnection between PD and QLED units induced unfavorable carrier ***,much emitted visible light was lost due to the strong visible absorption in the PD *** on the understandings on the loss mechanisms,the infrared up-conversion photodetectors were optimized and achieved a breakthrough photon-to-photon conversion efficiency of 6.9%.This study provided valuable guidance on how to optimize the way of integration for up-conversion photodetectors.

Highly selective and eco-friendly dihydroisoquinoline synthesis via Cu/Co synergistic catalysis in Cu NPs@MOFs catalyst under mild conditions

3,4-Dihydroisoquinoline(DHIQ)is an important precursor used in the production of drugs for treating cancer,HIV,Alzheimer's disease,*** studies on DHIQ synthesis show low catalytic selectivity due to the susceptible over-oxidation feedstock of1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline(THIQ),which often requires alkali ***,it is desirable yet challenging to explore a highly selective and efficient oxydehydrogenation capacity for DHIQ synthesis under eco-friendly reaction ***,a novel framework 1 was synthesized,exhibiting 1D channels with the size of 4.6 A×9.6 A and high solvent/p H/thermal stability.A stable framework allows it to encapsulate Cu nanoparticles(NPs)to form Cu NPs@1-x(x=1,2,3,and 4)with varying loading amounts of Cu NPs at 2.0 wt%,3.0 wt%,4.0 wt%,and 6.0 wt%,*** NPs@1-3 could selectively catalyze the reaction from THIQ to DHIQ with a high selectivity of 98%and a recorded turnover frequency(TOF)of 22.1 h-1under eco-friendly mild *** corresponding catalytic activity can maintain at least five recyclings and can be further applied to gram-scale ***,the efficient preparation of DHIQ catalyzed by Cu NPs@1-3 could be realized even under air ***,the anticancer molecule precursor synthesis of 6,7-dimethoxy-3,4-dihydroisoquinoline was also selectively catalyzed by Cu NPs@*** investigations revealed that high catalytic performance can be attributed to the stable framework and the synergistic catalytic effect of the loaded Cu NPs and Co metal *** importantly,this work represents the first example of MOF catalysts for selectively thermo-catalytic DHIQ synthesis and demonstrates a simple approach to obtain efficient catalysts for selective oxydehydrogenation in the production of unsaturated compounds.

In underground engineering with complex conditions,the bolt(cable)anchorage support system is in an environment where static and dynamic stresses coexist,under the action of geological conditions such as high stresses and strong disturbances and construction conditions such as the application of high *** is essential to study the support components performance under dynamic-static coupling *** on this,a multi-functional anchorage support dynamic-static coupling performance test system(MAC system)is developed,which can achieve 7 types of testing functions,including single component performance,anchored net performance,anchored rock performance and so *** bolt and cable mechanical tests are conducted by MAC system under different prestress *** results showed that compared to the non-prestress condition,the impact resistance performance of prestressed bolts(cables)is significantly *** the prestress range of 50–160 k N,the maximum reduction rate of impact energy resisted by different types of bolts is 53.9%–61.5%compared to non-prestress *** the prestress range of 150–300 k N,the impact energy resisted by high-strength cable is reduced by76.8%–84.6%compared to non-prestress *** MAC system achieves dynamic-static coupling performance test,which provide an effective means for the design of anchorage support system.
