Comprehensive Summary Cathode interlayers(CILs)play an essential role in achieving efficient organic solar cells(OSCs).However,the electronic structure at the electrode/CIL/active layer interfaces and the underlying mechanisms for electron collection remain unclear,which becomes a major obstacle to develop high-performance ***,we investigate the relationship of the electron collection abilities of four cross-linked and n-doped CILs(c-ndi:P0,c-ndi:P1,c-ndi:P2,c-ndi:P3)with their electronic structure of space charge region at heterojunction *** accurately calculating the depletion region width according to the barrier height,doping density and permittivity,we put forward that the optimal thickness of CIL should be consistent with the depletion region width to realize the minimum energy *** a result,the depletion region width is largely reduced from 13 nm to 0.8 nm at the indium tin oxide(ITO)/c-ndi:P0 interface,resulting in a decent PCE of 17.7%for the corresponding inverted OSCs.

Verrucosidins,a methylatedα-pyrone class of polyketides rarely reported upon,have been implicated in one or more neurological *** the signifcance of verrucosidins as neurotoxins,the absolute confgurations of most of the derivatives have not been accurately characterized *** this study,three pairs of C-9 epimeric verrucosidin derivatives,including the known compounds penicyrones A and B(1a/1b)and 9-O-methylpenicyrones A and B(2a/2b),the new compounds 9-O-ethylpenicyrones A and B(3a/3b),together with the related known derivative verrucosidin(4),were isolated and identifed from the culture extract of Penicillium cyclopium SD-413,which was obtained from the marine sediment collected from the East China *** structures were established based on an in-depth analysis of nuclear magnetic resonances(NMR)and mass spectroscopic *** of the absolute confgurations of these compounds was accomplished by Mosher’s method and time-dependent density functional theory(TDDFT)calculations of electronic circular dichroism(ECD)and optical rotation(OR).The confgurational assignment of penicyrone A demonstrated that the previously reported C-6 absolute confguration of verrucosidin derivatives needs to be revised from(6S)to(6R).The 9R/9S epimers of compounds 1–3 were found to exhibit growth inhibition against some pathogenic bacteria,indicating that they have potential as lead compounds for the creation of antimicrobial agents.

Cathode interlayer(CIL) materials play an important role in improving the power conversion efficiency(PCE) of organic photovoltaic(OPV) cells. However, the current understanding of the structure-property relationship in CIL materials is limited, and systematic studies in this regard are scarce. Here, two new CIL materials, ndi-PhC 4 and ndi-PhC 6 were synthesized by varying the alkylamine chain length on the ndi-Ph core. Our investigation reveals a systematic variation in the physical and chemical properties of these materials with increasing alkylamine chain length. Specifically, we observe a sequential decrease in melting point and self-doping effect, accompanied by an enhancement in crystallinity. Among these CIL materials, ndi-PhC 4 has a notable balance across various performance metrics. It also exhibits excellent surface modification capabilities, leading to a low surface roughness. Consequently, OPV cells based on ndi-PhC 4 achieve a PCE of 20.2%, which is one of the highest reported efficiencies for OPV cells. In addition, the appropriate melting point of ndi-PhC 4 contributes to the excellent stability of OPV cells.

Object: To compare the safety, clinical efficacy, and complication rate of “Tianji” robot-assisted surgery with traditional open surgery in the treatment of cervical vertebrae fracture. Methods: 60 patients with upper cervical vertebrae fracture admitted to Baise People’s Hospital between November 2018 and April 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. Among these patients, 29 underwent “Tianji” robot-assisted surgery (Robot group), and 31 underwent traditional C-arm fluoroscopy-assisted open surgery (Open group). Statistical analysis of the data was performed using SPSS 27.0 software to compare general data (gender, age, BMI), preoperative and postoperative visual analogue scale (VAS) scores, neck disability index (ndi), intraoperative blood loss, accuracy of screw placement on imaging, and the number of complications in both groups for comprehensive evaluation. A P value ndi scores showed no significant difference between the two groups (Robot group: 43.31 ± 2.67; Open group: 43.84 ± 2.67, P = 0.2227), and the difference in ndi scores at 1 week postoperatively was also not significant (Robot group: 35.69 ± 4.24; Open group: 37.35 ± 3.48, P = 0.0509). Intraoperative blood loss in the Robot group was significantly lower than in the Open group (246.21 ± 209 ml vs 380.65 ± 328.04 ml, P = 0.0308), with a statistically significant difference. The operation time was longer in the Robot group (3.75 ± 0.74 h) compared to the Open group (2.74 ± 0.86 h). Mineral Uptake of Heavy Metals by Some Marine Organisms along the Limbe Coastline in Cameroon and Health Risk Assessment

This study aimed at investigating the content of heavy metals in some marine organisms of the Cameroon Atlantic coast and assessing the health risk due to their consumption by the population. Nine fish and one shrimp species were collected for this study. These fish species were Ethmolosa fimbriata, Drepane africana, Dentex moroccanus, Arius latiscotatus, Scarus hoefleri, Cynoglossus browni, Sardinella madorensis, Pseudotolithus elongatus, Pseudotolithus typus. The shrimp species was Macrobranchium macrobranchium. The elements investigated in this study were: Fe, Co, Cu, Cd and Pb. For seven fish species it was found that the concentration of heavy metals followed the order Fe > Co > Cd > Cu > Pb. For most fish species the Target Hazard Quotient (THQ) value calculated showed the following trend Cd > Co > Pb > Fe ≥ Cu. Cadmium was found to be the main contributor to health risk that may result from the consumption of the fish species under study. The THQ for this element was in the range 0.7 - 1.2 while the Target Cancer Risk (TR) due to ingestion of this metal was in the range (3 × 10-4 - 6 × 10-4). These values are slightly above the threshold limits established for both carcinogenic and non carcinogenic risks by the United States, Environmental Protection Agency. The estimated weekly intake of cadmium due to consumption of some fishes under study was greater or equal to the Provisional Tolerable Weekly Intake (PTWI) determined by Food and Agriculture Organization/World Health Organization.

In this paper, we propose MAMNID, a mobile agent-based model for networks incidents diagnosis. It is a load-balance and resistance to attack model, based on mobile agents to mitigate the weaknesses of centralized systems like that proposed by Mohamed Eid which consists in gathering data to diagnose from their collecting point and sending them back to the main station for analysis. The attack of the main station stops the system and the increase of the amount of information can equally be at the origin of bottlenecks or DDoS in the network. Our model is composed of m diagnostiquors, n sniffers and a multi-agent system (MAS) of diagnosis management of which the manager is elected in a cluster. It has enabled us not only to reduce the response time and the global system load by 1/m, but also make the system more tolerant to attacks targeting the diagnosis system.

目的:探讨推拿联合加味黄芪赤风汤治疗神经根型颈椎病气虚血瘀证患者的效果。方法:选择2022年1月—2023年5月九江市中医医院98例神经根型颈椎病气虚血瘀证患者,按照随机数字表法分为两组,各49例。对照组用常规治疗,观察组加用推拿联合加味黄芪赤风汤治疗。比较两组中医主证积分、颈部活动度、颈椎功能、颈部疼痛程度。结果:治疗后,观察组中医主证积分中颈项疼痛、头晕、神疲乏力、肢体麻木评分均低于对照组,颈部左、右侧旋转及侧屈的活动度均大于对照组,颈椎功能障碍指数(ndi)、Northwick Park颈痛量表(NPQ)评分均低于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:推拿联合加味黄芪赤风汤治疗神经根型颈椎病气虚血瘀证患者具有显著的效果,可有效改善患者的中医证候、颈部活动度和颈部疼痛程度,为临床治疗提供了一种有效的中医药物疗法。

Vaccines are an integral part of veterinary disease prevention. However there are still a significant number of veterinary diseases for which vaccines do not currently exist or where currently available vaccines do not provide adequate immunity. Adenoviruses have transitioned from tools for gene replacement therapy to bona fide vaccine delivery vehicles because of their ability to elicit potent cell-mediated and humoral responses making them ideal for use against viruses and other intracellular pathogens. Adenoviral vector based vaccines are likely to play a significant role in overcoming these problems in the future. However, this vector is under utilized in veterinary vaccine development at this time. This review focuses on adenoviral vector based vaccines developed to date and explores the potential for veterinary vaccine development based upon this platform: advantages and potential disadvantages of this technology are discussed as well as the potential for developing efficacious commercial veterinary adenoviral vector based vaccines.
