Phonon lasers or coherent amplifications of mechanical oscillations are powerful tools for fundamental studies on coherent acoustics and hold potential for diverse applications,ranging from ultrasensitive force sensing to phononic information ***,we propose the use of an optomechanical resonator coupled to a nonlinear optical resonator for directional phonon *** find that by pumping the nonlinear optical resonator,directional optical squeezing can occur along the pump *** a result,we can achieve the directional mechanical gain using directional optical squeezing,thereby leading to nonreciprocal phonon lasing with a well-tunable directional power *** work proposes a feasible way to build nonreciprocal phonon lasers with various nonlinear optical media,which are important for a wide range of applications,such as directional acoustic amplifiers,invisible sound sensing or imaging,and one-way phononic networks.

The dynamic landscape of the Internet of Things(IoT)is set to revolutionize the pace of interaction among entities,ushering in a proliferation of applications characterized by heightened quality and *** the pivotal applications within the realm of IoT,as a significant example,the Smart Grid(SG)evolves into intricate networks of energy deployment marked by data *** evolution concurrently entails data interchange with other IoT ***,there are also several challenges including data-sharing overheads and the intricate establishment of trusted centers in the IoT *** this paper,we introduce a hierarchical secure data-sharing platform empowered by cloud-fog ***,we propose a novel non-interactive zero-knowledge proof-based group authentication and key agreement protocol that supports one-to-many sharing sets of IoT data,especially SG *** security formal verification tool shows that the proposed scheme can achieve mutual authentication and secure data sharing while protecting the privacy of data *** with previous IoT data sharing schemes,the proposed scheme has advantages in both computational and transmission efficiency,and has more superiority with the increasing volume of shared data or increasing number of participants.

Si-based materials have shown great potential as lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)anodes due to their natural reserves and high theoretical ***,the large volume changes during cycles and poor conductivity of Si lead to rapid capacity decay and poor cycling stability,ultimately limiting their commercial ***,we have skillfully utilized the microporous MCM-22 zeolite as the unique silicon source to produce porous Si(pSi)sheets by a simple magnesiothermic reduction,followed by a carbon coating and further Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)Mxene assembly,obtaining the ternary pSi@NC@TNSs *** the design,porous Si sheets provide more active sites and shorten Li-ion transport paths for electrochemical *** N-doped carbon(NC)layer serves as a bonding layer to couple pSi and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x).The conductive network formed by 2d Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)and medium NC layer effectively enhances the overall charge transport of the electrode material,and helps to stabilize the electrode ***,the as-made pSi@NC@TNSs anode delivers an improved lithium storage performance,exhibiting a high reversible capacity of 925 mAh/g at 0.5 A/g after 100 *** present strategy provides an effective way towards high-performance Si-based anodes for LIBs.

Gastric cancer(GC)is a major cause of cancer-related mortality *** is determined by multiple(epi)genetic and environmental factors;can occur at distinct anatomic positions of the stomach;and displays high heterogeneity,with different cellular origins and diverse histological and molecular *** heterogeneity has hindered efforts to fully understand the pathology of GC and develop efficient *** the past decade,great progress has been made in the study of GC,particularly in molecular subtyping,investigation of the immune microenvironment,and defining the evolutionary path and *** mouse models,particularly immunocompetent models that mimic the cellular and molecular features of human GC,in combination with organoid culture and clinical studies,have provided powerful tools for elucidating the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying GC pathology and immune evasion,and the development of novel therapeutic ***,we first briefly introduce current progress and challenges in GC study and subsequently summarize immunocompetent GC mouse models,emphasizing the potential application of genetically engineered mouse models in antitumor immunity and immunotherapy studies.

Silicone rubber(SR) composites are most widely used as thermal interface materials(TIMs) for electronics heat dissipation. Thermal impedance as the main bottleneck limiting the performance of TIMs is usually neglected. Herein, the thermal impedance of SR composites loaded with different levels of hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN) as TIMs was elaborated for the first time by the ASTM d 5470 standard test and finite element analysis. It was found that elastic modulus and surface roughness of SR composites increased with the increase of h-BN content, indicating that the conformity was reduced. When the assembly pressure was 0.69 MPa, there existed an optimal h-BN content at which the contact resistance was minimum(0.39 K·cm^(2)·W^(-1)). Although the decreased bond line thickness(BLT) by increasing the assembly pressure was beneficial to reduce the thermal impedance, the proper assembly pressure should be selected to prevent the warpage of the contact surfaces and the increase in contact resistance, according to the compression properties of the SR composites. This study provides valuable insights into fabrication of high-performance TIMs for modern electronic device applications.

The number and composition of species in a community can be quantified withα-diversity indices,including species richness(R),Simpson’s index.d.,and the Shannon-Wiener index(H΄).In forest communities,there are large variations in tree size among species and individu-als of the same species,which result in differences in eco-logical processes and ecosystem ***,tree size inequality(TSI)has been largely neglected in studies using the available diversity *** TSI in the diameter at breast height(dBH)data for each of 99920 m×20 m forest census quadrats was quantified using the Gini index(GI),a measure of the inequality of size *** generalized performance equation was used to describe the rotated and right-shifted Lorenz curve of the cumulative proportion of dBH and the cumulative proportion of number of trees per *** also examined the relationships ofα-diversity indices with the GI using correlation *** generalized performance equation effectively described the rotated and right-shifted Lorenz curve of dBH distributions,with most root-mean-square errors(990 out of 999 quadrats)beingdiversity indices(i.e.,R,d,and H’)and the ***,the total abundance of trees in each quadrat did not significantly influence the *** means that the TSI increased with increasing spe-cies ***,two new indices are proposed that can balanceα-diversity against the extent of TSI in the com-munity:(1−GI)×d,and(1−GI)×H’.These new indices were significantly correlated with the original d and H΄,and did not increase the extent of variation within each group of *** study presents a useful tool for quantifying both species diversity and the variation in tree sizes in forest communities,especially in the face of cumulative species loss under global climate change.

Confinement of ionomer for electrocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction via efficient mass transfer pathways

Gas diffusion electrodes（GdEs） mediate the transport of reactants, products and electrons for the electrocatalytic CO2reduction reaction（CO2RR） in membrane electrode assemblies. The random distribution of ionomer, added by the traditional physical mixing method, in the catalyst layer of GdEs affects the transport of ions and CO2. Such a phenomenon results in elevated cell voltage and decaying selectivity at high current densities. This paper describes a pre-confinement method to construct GdEs with homogeneously distributed ionomer, which enhances mass transfer locally at the active centers. The optimized GdE exhibited comparatively low cell voltages and high CO Faradaic efficiencies（FE > 90%） at a wide range of current densities. It can also operate stably for over 220 h with the cell voltage staying almost unchanged. This good performance can be preserved even with diluted CO2feeds, which is essential for pursuing a high single-pass conversion rate. This study provides a new approach to building efficient mass transfer pathways for ions and reactants in GdEs to promote the electrocatalytic CO2RR for practical applications.

Norovirus is an infectious disease that can cause non-bacterial gastroenteritis,which has a low infectious dose,rapid onset,and strong transmission ability;therefore,rapid and sensitive detection is essential to reduce the transmission of *** the study,a norovirus GII loop-mediated isothermal amplification assay was developed and prepared into freeze-drying microspheres,and a closed-cassette-based,integrated,reagent-ambient storage,on-site instant detection platform for norovirus GII was constructed using a commercial,fully automated nucleic acid analyzer with integrated magnetic bearing based nuclear acid extraction and nucleic acid detection,with a sensitivity of 10 copies/μL,with no cross-reactivity with other 5 *** 28 simulated samples,the integrated assay platform was consistent with the experimental results of reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)assays after conventional laboratory nucleic acid *** entire process can be finished in about 1 h,which is ideal for immediate rapid detection.
