A Two-layer Framework for Mitigating the Con-gestion of Urban power Grids Based on Flexible Topology with Dynamic Thermal Rating

The urban power grid(UpG)combines transmission and distribution *** studies on UpG congestion mitigation have primarily focused on relieving local congestion while ignoring large-scale energy transfer with safety margins and load *** situation is expected to worsen with the proliferation of renewable energy and electric *** this paper,a two-layer congestion mitigation framework is proposed,one which considers the congestion of the UpG with flexible *** the upper-layer,the particle swarm optimization algorithm is employed to optimize the power supply distribution(pSD)of substation *** is known as the upper-layer *** lower-layer model recalculates the new pSD,known as the lower-layer pSD,based on the topology candidates.A candidate topology is at an optimum when the Euclidean distance mismatch between the upper-and lower-layer pSDs is the *** optimum topology is tested by standard power flow to ascertain its *** optimum transitioning sequence between the initial and optimum topologies is also determined by the two-layer framework to minimize voltage deviation and line overloading of the UpG considering dynamic thermal *** proposed framework is tested on a 56-node test *** show that the proposed framework can significantly reduce congestion,maintain safety margins,and determine the optimum transitioning sequence.

An array of pyridine-ester enolate based organoboron complexes has been designed and synthesized via a one-pot cascade of pd-catalyzedα-arylation and *** rapid structure-activity relationship(SAR)studies indicated that unsymmetrical N,O-chelated BF2complexes were highly fluorescent in solid state,and exhibited large Stokes shifts,excellent photostability,along with insensitivity to p ***α-aryl group could not only modulate the electronic effect but also inhibit the intermolecularπ-πstacking to promote the aggregation-induced emission(AIE)*** calculations and experiments identified that the intramolecular charge transfer properties of these N,O-chelates could be switched by the modification of substituents,resulting tunable fluorescence ***,post-complexation modification was accomplished,including Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling,Buchwald-Hartwig amination,oxidative cleavage,along with a unique triple substitution reaction involving propargyl Grignard *** exemplificative application of dimethylamine substituted boron complex as a reversible acidic vapor sensor was also demonstrated.

A novel D–π –A structure and near–infrared fluorescent probe(DCITT) with high polarity sensitivity and membrane targeting was reported. The fluorescent spectra of DCITT were polarity dependent and Stokes shift was greater than 300 nm. Due to its high fluorescence quantum yield, low cytotoxicity and photostability, DCITT could be used as a labeling probe in multicellular organisms. In particular, DCITT effectively distinguished tumor cells from normal cells because it could specifically light up the cancer cells membrane based on strong red fluorescence for a long time. On this basis, a polar–sensitive cell membrane probe is developed to differentiate tumor cells from normal cells, which provides an idea and method for the early diagnosis of tumor at cellular level.

Modelling smear effect of vertical drains using a diameter reduction method

Vertical drains are used to accelerate consolidation of clays in ground improvement *** zones exist around these drains,where permeability is reduced due to soil disturbance caused by the installation *** solution is widely used in practice to consider the effects of drain discharge capacity and smear on the consolidation *** this study,a computationally efficient diameter reduction method(DRM)obtained from the Hansbo solution is proposed to consider the smear effect without the need to model the smear zone *** by analytical and numerical results,a diameter reduction factor is analytically derived to reduce the diameter of the drain,while achieving similar solutions of pore pressure dissipation profile as the classical full model of the smear zone and *** the DRM,the excess pore pressure u obtained from the reduced drain in the original un-disturbed soil zone is accurate enough for practical applications in numerical *** performance of DRM is independent of soil material *** also show equally accurate performance of DRM under conditions of multi-layered soils and coupled radial-vertical groundwater flow.

The sixth-generation(6G)wireless communication system is envisioned be cable of providing highly dependable services by integrating with native reliable and trustworthy ***-trust vehicular networks is one of the typical scenarios for 6G dependable *** the technical framework of vehicle-and-roadside collaboration,more and more on-board devices and roadside infrastructures will communicate for information *** reliability and security of the vehicle-and-roadside collaboration will directly affect the transportation *** a zero-trust vehicular environment,to prevent malicious vehicles from uploading false or invalid information,we propose a malicious vehicle identity disclosure approach based on the Shamir secret sharing ***,a two-layer consortium blockchain architecture and smart contracts are designed to protect the identity and privacy of benign vehicles as well as the security of their private *** that,in order to improve the efficiency of vehicle identity disclosure,we present an inspection policy based on zero-sum game theory and a roadside unit incentive mechanism jointly using contract theory and subjective logic *** verify the performance of the entire zero-trust solution through extensive simulation *** the premise of protecting the vehicle privacy,our solution is demonstrated to significantly improve the reliability and security of 6G vehicular networks.

Advances in the role of circulating tumor cell heterogeneity in metastatic small cell lung cancer

Small cell lung cancer(SCLC),a highly aggressive malignancy,is rapidly at an extensive stage once diagnosed and is one of the leading causes of death from *** the past decade,the treatment of SCLC has largely remained unchanged,and chemotherapy remains the cornerstone of SCLC *** therapeutic value of adding immune checkpoint inhibitors to chemotherapy for SCLC is low,and only a few SCLC patients have shown a response to immune checkpoint *** tumor cells(CTCs)are tumor cells shed from solid tumor masses into the peripheral circulation and are key to tumor ***-cell sequencing has revealed that the genetic profiles of individual CTCs are highly heterogeneous and contribute to the poor outcome and prognosis of SCLC ***,phenotypic analysis of CTCs may be able to predict the diagnostic significance of new potential targets for metastatic *** this paper,we will discuss in depth the heterogeneity of CTCs in SCLC and the value of CTCs for the diagnosis and prognosis of SCLC and as relevant tumor markers in metastatic SCLC.

Nomogram model including LATS2 expression was constructed to predict the prognosis of advanced gastric cancer after surgery

BACKGROUND Gastric cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related deaths *** assessments are typically based on the tumor-node-metastasis(TNM)staging system,which does not account for the molecular heterogeneity of this ***2,a tumor suppressor gene involved in the Hippo signaling pathway,has been identified as a potential prognostic biomarker in gastric *** To construct and validate a nomogram model that includes LATS2 expression to predict the survival prognosis of advanced gastric cancer patients following ra-dical surgery,and compare its predictive performance with traditional TNM *** A retrospective analysis of 245 advanced gastric cancer patients from the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University was *** patients were divided into a training group(171 patients)and a validation group(74 patients)to deve-lop and test our prognostic *** performance of the model was determined using C-indices,receiver operating characteristic curves,calibration plots,and decision *** The model demonstrated a high predictive accuracy with C-indices of 0.829 in the training set and 0.862 in the validation *** under the curve values for three-year and five-year survival prediction were significantly robust,suggesting an excellent discrimination *** plots confirmed the high concordance between the predictions and actual survival *** We developed a nomogram model incorporating LATS2 expression,which significantly outperformed conven-tional TNM staging in predicting the prognosis of advanced gastric cancer patients *** model may serve as a valuable tool for individualized patient management,allowing for more accurate stratification and im-proved clinical *** validation in larger patient cohorts will be necessary to establish its generaliza-bility and clinical utility.
