A drug carrier system of the hybrid nanoparticles based on the redox-responsive P[（2-（（2-（（camptothecin）-oxy）ethyl）disulfanyl）ethylmethacrylate）-co-（2-（D-galactose）methylmethacryl-ate）]（P（MACPTS-co-MAgP）） and AgNPs is developed to deliver the anti-cancer drug camptothecin（CPT） and monitor the drug release by the recovery of the fluorescence of CPT. CPT is linked to the polymer sidechains via a redox-responsive disulfide bond, attaching on the surface of AgNPs and leading to the quenching of CPT fluorescence（＂off＂ state） due to the nanoparticle surface energy transfer（NSET） *** the exposure to glutathione（gSH）, the disulfide bond is cleaved to release CPT, resulting in the recovery of the fluorescence of CPT（＂on＂ state）. The system offers a platform to track the CPT delivery and releasing in real time

A modified spherical cavity-expansion model is developed in this paper.(1) We introduce a piecewise hyperbolic yield criterion suitable for pressure less than fc/3 to describe the mechanical behavior in the elastic region for the elastic-plastic response and modify the crack occurrence condition for the elastic-cracked-plastic response.(2) The hyperbolic yield criterion and a piecewise equation of state (EOS) are adopted for a better description of the plastic behavior of concrete material. Then, the modified model is validated by several projectile penetration tests in both the normal strength concrete (NSC) and ultra-high performance cement-based composite (UHPCC) targets. Finally, the hydrostatic pressure of the targets under rigid ogive-nosed projectile penetrations is found to be nearly within (0, 1.6 gPa), which usually exceeds the range that the shear strength-pressure test data covered. The influence of yield criterion on depth of penetration is discussed and it is recommended that the pressure should arrive at least 400 MPa in the related triaxial compression tests.

Hepatic progenitor cells(HPCs)hold tremendous potential for liver regeneration,but their well-known limitation of proliferation hampers their broader *** is evidence that laminin is required for the proliferation of HPCs,but the laminin isoform that plays the dominant role and the key intracellular downstream targets that mediate the regulation of HPC proliferation have yet to be *** we showed that p53 expression increased gradually and reached maximal levels around 8 days when lamininα4,α5,β2,β1,andγ1 subunit levels also reached a maximum during HPC activation and ***-521(LN-521)promoted greater proliferation of HPCs than do laminin,matrigel or other laminin *** of p53 by PFT-αor Ad-p53^(V143A) inhibited the promotion of proliferation by *** complementary MRI and bioluminescence imaging analysis showed that p53 inactivation decreased the proliferation of transplanted HPCs in vivo.p53 was activated by LN-521 through the Integrinα6β1/FAK-Src-Paxillin/Akt *** p53 was involved in the nuclear translocation of CDK4 and inactivation of Rb by inducing p27^(Kip1).Taken together,this study identifies LN-521 as an ideal candidate substrate for HPC culture and uncovers an unexpected positive role for p53 in regulating proliferation of HPCs,which makes it a potential target for HPC-based regenerative medicine.

The real Direction Of Arrival (DOA) varies with time in mobile communication system. In such situation, the performance of conventional beamformers will be degraded obviously. Quantum Signal Processing (QSP) beamformer is insensitive to DOA errors, thus it can achieve stable output performance in such circumstance. This letter verified the effectiveness and feasibility of the QSP beamformer by simulation results.

RgB1 regulated not only rice panicle architecture but also the grain filling *** of RgB1 expression resulted in a denser panicle and smaller grain size and weight,which was largely due to the lower endogenous cytokinin(CK)level caused by the increased expression of cytokinin oxidase genes in the inflorescence *** of RgB1 expression also significantly delayed the grain development and reduced the starch accumulation rate through reducing grain abscisic acid(ABA)accumulation during early filling *** ABA can partially rescue the detrimental effects of suppression of RgB1 expression on starch accumulation and grain *** conclusion,RgB1 regulated rice panicle architecture and grain filling through monitoring CK level in the inflorescence meristem and grain ABA level during filling stage.

We report our studies of zero-frequency shot noise in tunneling through a parallel-coupled quantum dot interferometer by employing number-resolved quantum rate equations. We show that the combination of quantum interference effect between two pathways and strong Coulomb repulsion could result in a giant Fano factor, which is controllable by tuning the enclosed magnetic flux.

The corundum plates with a groove were used to freeze molten flux into solid slice to simulate the flux film formed in continuous casting mold, and thereby to study the formation mechanism of flux film with different surface roughness. The effect of some factors on the surface roughness of flux film, such as reheating rate, cooling rate, flux film thickness and crystallization ratio, was discussed.

Cancer activated protein-inorganic nanoparticles can be cancer targeting turn-on imaging and therapy agents. Although various techniques were successfully employed for development of hybrid proteininorganic nanoparticles, cancer cell activated protein-inorganic nanoparticles have been ***, a cancer cell responsive nanoparticle（PDAMn-CuS@BSA-FA, NPs） was constructed and characterized. It is found that the quenching interaction of dyes（PDA） and central metal in NPs can be adjusted by CH_3O-PEg-phosphatide or the cancer cells, hence, NPs showed turn-on fluorescence emission with the titration of CH_3O-PEg-phosphatide. In particular, breast cancer cells lysis can switch on the green emission greatly, while normal cells show less effect. Breast cancer cells turn-on fluorescence imaging and mitochondria targeting imaging demonstrate that the NPs can sense breast cancer cells and enter mitochondria. Therefore, NPs can be both breast cancer targeting nanosensor.
