BAcKGROUnD In recent years,there has been an increase in the number of total hip arthroplasty procedures in the younger patient *** active group has higher expectations of their prosthesis in comparison to the older population,and there is a greater physical demand for the *** femoral stems were in-troduced to retain proximal bone stock and joint biomechanics and became more common to implant in this specific ***,the long-term survival and functional outcomes of various short stems are still being investigated in different *** To determine the 5-year survival of the Optimys hip *** This was a prospective multicenter cohort study of 500 patients conducted in two hospitals in the *** patients received the Optimys short stem(Mathys Ltd,Bettlach,Switzerland).The primary outcome measure was survival of the hip stem,with revision as the *** secondary outcome measurements included patient-reported outcome measures(PROMs).Kaplan-Meier analysis was used to calculate the 5-year survival ***-minus-log transformation was performed to calculate the 95%confidence interval(95%cI).Mixed model analyses were performed to assess the course of the PROMs during the 1st 2 years after *** were modeled separately for the 1st and 2nd years to calculate the yearly change in PROMs during both follow-up periods with accompanying 95%*** The mean age of the total 500 patients was 62.3 years(standard deviation:10.6)and 202 were male(40%).At a median follow-up of 5.5 years(interquartile range:4.5-6.7),7 patients were deceased and 6 revisions were registered,for infection(n=3),subsidence(n=2)and malposition(n=1).This resulted in an overall 5-year survival of 98.8%(95%cI:97.3-99.5).If infection was left out as reason for revision,a stem survival of 99.4%(95%cI:98.1-99.8)was *** questionnaires were completed by 471 patients(94%),317 patients(63%)completed the 1-year follow-up questionna

cO_(2) is the most cost-eff ective and abundant carbon resource,while the reverse water-gas reaction(rwGS)is one of the most eff ective methods of cO_(2) *** work presents a comparative study of rwGS activity for perovskite systems based on AFeO_(3)(where A=ce,La,Y).These systems were synthesized by solution combustion synthesis(ScS)with diff erent ratios of fuel(glycine)and oxidizer(φ),diff erent amounts of nH 4 nO_(3),and the addition of alumina or silica as *** techniques,including x-ray diff raction analysis,thermogravimetric analysis,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),scanning electron microscopy,energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy,n 2-physisorption,H_(2) temper-ature-programmed reduction,temperature-programmed desorption of H_(2) and cO_(2),Raman spectroscopy,and in situ FTIR,were used to relate the physicochemical properties with the catalytic performance of the obtained *** specifi c perovskite-containing system(either bulk or supported)has its own optimalφand nH_(4) nO_(3) amount to achieve the highest yield and dispersion of the perovskite *** all synthesized systems,bulk ScS-derived La-Fe-O systems showed the highest resistance to reducing environments and the easiest hydrogen desorption,outperforming La-Fe-O produced by solgel combustion(SGc).cO_(2) conversion into cO at 600°c for bulk ferrite systems,depending on the A-cation type and preparation method,follows the order La(SGc)cecS).The diff erences in properties between La-Fe-O obtained by the ScS and SGc methods can be attributed to diff erent ratios of oxygen and lanthanum vacancy contributions,hydroxyl coverage,morphology,and free iron oxide *** situ FTIR data revealed that cO_(2) hydrogenation occurs through formates generated under reaction conditions on the bulk system based on La-Fe-O,obtained by the ScS method.γ-Al_(2)O_(3) improves the dispersion of ceFeO_(3) and LaFeO_(3) phases,the specifi c surface area,and the quant

“如果”句的语义结构和用法复杂多样,但学界对该结构的功能类型分析过于笼统。文章通过语料库梳理书面语中“如果”句的结构特点和语篇关系,对其进行了功能分类。从功能视角看,“如果”句在知识域、语言域和人际域中分别发挥前提限定、语篇建构和会话修辞等功能。根据从句和主句的意义关系,“如果”句可以分为蕴含条件句和非蕴含条件句。各类“如果”句的功能各有句法语义特征。从各类“如果”句的用法分布看,“如果”句的主要功能是表达推理关系,其次是语篇关系,再次是话语修辞。

BAcKGROUnD Survival in patients with autoimmune liver disease overlap syndromes(AILDOS)compared to those with single autoimmune liver disease is *** To investigate the survival of patients with AILDOS and assess the accuracy of non-invasive serum models for predicting liver-related *** Patients with AILDOS were defined as either autoimmune hepatitis and primary biliary cholangitis overlap(AIH-PBc)or autoimmune hepatitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis overlap(AIH-PSc)and were identified from three tertiary centres for this cohort ***-related death or transplantation(liver-related mortality)was determined using a population-based data linkage *** scores for liver-related death were compared for accuracy[including liver outcome score(LOS),Hepascore,Mayo Score,model for end-stage liver disease(MELD)score and MELD incorporated with serum sodium(MELD-na)score].RESULTS Twenty-two AILDOS patients were followed for a median of 3.1 years(range,0.35-7.7).Fourteen were female,the median age was 46.7 years(range,17.8 to 82.1)and median Hepascore was 1(range,0.07-1).At five years post enrolment,57%of patients remained free from liver-related mortality(74%AIH-PBc,27%AIH-PSc).There was no significant difference in survival between AIH-PBc and *** was a significant predictor of liver-related mortality(Pn patients with AIH-PBc(n=14)but not AIH-PSc(n=8).A LOS cut-point of 6 discriminated liver-related mortality in AIH-PBc patients(P=0.012,log-rank test,100%sensitivity,77.8%specificity)(Harrell's c-statistic 0.867).The MELD score,MELD-na score and Mayo Score were not predictive of liver-related mortality in any *** Survival in the rare,AILDOS is *** current study supports the LOS as a predictor of liver-related mortality in AIH-PBc *** trials investigating predictors of survival in AILDOS are required.

Protection of urban critical infrastructures(cIs)from GPS-denied,bomb-carrying kamikaze drones(G-BKDs)is very *** approaches based on drone jamming,spoofing,communication interruption and hijacking cannot be applied in the case under examination,since G-B-KDs are *** the other hand,drone capturing schemes and electromagnetic pulse(EMP)weapons seem to be ***,again,existing approaches present various limitations,while most of them do not examine the case of *** paper,focuses on the aforementioned under-researched field,where the G-B-KD is confronted by two defensive *** first neutralizes and captures the kamikaze drone,while the second captures the *** defensive drones are equipped with a net-gun and an innovative algorithm,which,among others,estimates the locations of interception,using a real-world trajectory ***,one of the defensive drones is also equipped with an EMP weapon to damage the electronics equipment of the kamikaze drone and reduce the capturing time and the overall *** simulated experiments and comparisons to state-of-art methods,reveal the advantages and limitations of the proposed *** specifically,compared to state-of-art,the proposed approach improves:(a)time to neutralize the target by at least 6.89%,(b)maximum number of missions by at least 1.27%and(c)total cost by at least 5.15%.

The research presented in this paper discusses the impact that the parameters of charge(Q)and screening factor(γ)have on properties of the horizon and silhouette of rotating charged Mod Max black holes which were reviewed in[***.J.c(2022)82:1155]recently,building upon previous findings in the ***,the study explores the behavior of null geodesics,which can help us better understand the apparent shape of the black hole’s silhouette,as well as the distortion parameter and approximate radii of the silhouette that are influenced by the aforementioned parameters,and there are some values of parameter Q which corresponds to data from the Event Horizon Telescope(EHT).notably,we explore the distortion parameter and approximate radii of the silhouette,revealing that while an increase inγleads to a growth in silhouette radius(Rs),it simultaneously reduces the distortion rate(δs).conversely,heightened Q charge results in a reduction of Rsaccompanied by an increase inδ***,the paper analyzes the effects of the black hole’s parameters on the effective potential and energy emission:the peak value of the energy emission rate experiences a decrease as the screening factor(γ)increases,while it increases with higher values of the charge parameter(Q).

The presence of heavy metals such as arsenic(As)and chromium(cr)can be considered one of the most toxic heavy *** study aims to develop and evaluate a graphene oxide(GO)based material functionalized with ferrihydrite for the removal of As(V)in the presence of cr(VI).The adsorbent ferrihydrite-functionalized graphene oxide(GOFH)was characterized by SEM,FTIR,xRD,xPS,surface charge,BET and *** adsorption capacities for As(V)and cr(VI)were 160 and 66 mg g^(-1)respectively at pH 4 and 298 K,fitting the Langmuir *** binary systems,GOFH adsorbed As(V)with an adsorption capacity of 137 mg g^(-1)in the presence of 20 mg L^(-1)cr(VI)at room *** analysis revealed an exothermic and spontaneous ***,GOFH effectively removed several coexisting anions from groundwater,including SO_(4)^(2-),cO_(3)^(2-)and cl^(-).This work evidences the potential of GOFH for competitive adsorption of priority pollutants from complex *** GOFH material represents a technically and economically viable technology for application in groundwater decontamination,as it requires inexpensive precursors and ambient conditions during synthesis and operation.
