By employing a quasi in situ method, we investigated the dynamic evolution of the grain structure con-sidering the material flow, strain, and strain rate in the friction stir welding of pure copper. The tool' stop action' and rapid cooling were employed and a brass foil was used as a marker to show the material flow path. The grain structure along the material flow path was characterised using electron backscatter diffraction. Static recrystallization occurs for the work-hardened base material in the preheating stage in front of the tool In the acceleration flow stage, grains are significantly refined by plastic deforma-tion, discontinuous dynamic recrystallization, annealing twinning during the strain-induced boundary migration and slight continuous dynamic recrystallization. In the deceleration flow stage, due to a strain reversal, the grain first coarsens, and is thereafter refined again. Finally, the hot-deformed material in the shoulder-affected zone is ‘frozen’ directly whereas that in the probe-affected zone undergoes signif-icant annealing;thus, the recrystallized microstructure and 45°-rotated cube texture are obtained in the probe-affected zone.

Inflammatory bowel disease,particularly crohn's disease(cD),has been linked to modifications in mesenteric adipose tissue(MAT)and the phenomenon known as"creeping fat"(crF).The presence of crF is believed to serve as a predictor for early clinical recurrence following surgical intervention in patients with ***,the incorporation of the mesentery during ileocolic resection for cD has been correlated with a decrease in surgical recurrence,indicating the significant role of MAT in the pathogenesis of *** numerous studies have indicated that dysbiosis of the gut microbiota is a critical factor in the development of cD,the functional implications of translocated microbiota within the MAT of cD patients remain *** manuscript commentary discusses a recent basic research conducted by Wu et *** their study,intestinal bacteria from individuals were transplanted into cD model mice,revealing that fecal microbiota trans-plantation(FMT)from healthy donors alleviated cD symptoms,whereas FMT from cD patients exacerbated these ***,FMT was found to affect intestinal permeability,barrier function,and the levels of proinflammatory factors and ***,these findings suggest that targeting MAT and crF may hold therapeutic potential for patients with ***,the study did not evaluate the composition of the intestinal microbiota of the donors or the subsequent alterations in the gut ***,the gut microbiota plays a crucial role in the histopathology of cD,and thus,targeting MAT and crF may represent a promising avenue for treatment in this patient population.

Theoretical analysis and numerical simulation methods were used to study the in-plane crushing behavior of single-cell structures and regular and composite ***,hexagonal,and circular honeycombs were selected as honeycomb layers to establish composite honeycomb models in the form of composite structures and realize the complementary advantages of honeycombs with type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ *** effects of honeycomb layer arrangement,plastic collapse strength,relative density,and crushing velocity on the deformation mode,plateau stress,load uniformity,and energy absorption performance of the composite honeycombs were mainly considered.A semi-empirical formula for plateau stress and energy absorption rate per unit mass for the composite honeycombs was *** results showed that the arrangement mode of honeycomb layers is an important factor that affects their mechanical *** selecting the arrangement of honeycomb layers and the proportion of honeycomb layers with different structures in a composite honeycomb can effectively improve its load uniformity and control the magnitude of plateau stress and energy absorption capacity.

An adaptive EFG-FE coupling method is proposed and developed for the numerical simulation of lateral extrusion and forward-backward extrusion. Initially, the simulation has been implemented by using a conventional FE model. During the deforming process, mesh quality is checked at every incremental step. Distorted elements are automatically converted to EFG nodes, whereas, the less distorted elements are reserved. A new algorithm to generate EFG nodes and interface elements is presented. This method is capable of dealing with large deformation and has higher computational efficiency than using an EFG method wholly. Numerical results demonstrate that the adaptive EFG-FE coupling method has reasonable accuracy and is effective for local bulk metal forming such as extrusion processes.

The bainitic transformation was analyzed according to the factors such as morphology, crystallography, mechanical property of bainite and transformation kinetics. It was found that the bainitic transformation is controlled by displacive mechanism and self-tempering of displacive microstructure, i.e. bainite is the product of such procedure during which undercooled austenite first transforms into one certain displacive microstructure by displacive mechanism and then this microstructure experiences self-tempering. With this idea, several questions that can not be illustrated only by displacive transformation mechanism can be explained successfully.

Ever since its first proposal in 1976, Jackiw-Rebbi zero-mode has been drawing extensive attention for its charming properties including charge fractionalization, topologically protected zero-energy and possible non-Abelian statistics. We investigate these properties through the Jackiw-Rebbi zero-modes in quantum spin Hall insulators. Though charge fractionalization is not manifested, Jackiw-Rebbi zero-mode’s zero-energy nature leads to a double-frequency Aharonov-Bohm effect, implying that it can be viewed as a special case of Majorana zero-mode without particle-hole symmetry. Such relation is strengthened for Jackiw-Rebbi zero-modes also exhibiting non-Abelian properties in the absence of ***, in the condition that the degeneracy of Jackiw-Rebbi zero-modes is lifted, we demonstrate a novel non-Abelian braiding with continuously tunable fusion rule, which is a generalization of Majorana zero-modes’ braiding properties.

It has been reported that the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway plays a key role in the pathogenesis of ischemic *** a result,the development of drugs targeting the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway has attracted increasing attention from *** article reviews the pathological mechanisms and advancements in research related to the signaling pathways in ischemic stroke,with a focus on the PI3K/AKT signaling *** key findings include the following:(1)The complex pathological mechanisms of ischemic stroke can be categorized into five major types:excitatory amino acid toxicity,ca^(2+)overload,inflammatory response,oxidative stress,and apoptosis.(2)The PI3K/AKT-mediated signaling pathway is closely associated with the occurrence and progression of ischemic stroke,which primarily involves the NF-κB,NRF2,BcL-2,mTOR,and endothelial NOS signaling pathways.(3)Natural products,including flavonoids,quinones,alkaloids,phenylpropanoids,phenols,terpenoids,and iridoids,show great potential as candidate substances for the development of innovative anti-stroke medications.(4)Recently,novel therapeutic techniques,such as electroacupuncture and mesenchymal stem cell therapy,have demonstrated the potential to improve stroke outcomes by activating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway,providing new possibilities for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with ischemic *** investigations should focus on the direct regulatory mechanisms of drugs targeting the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and their clinical translation to develop innovative treatment strategies for ischemic stroke.

The effects of exercise interventions on brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in children and adolescents:a meta-analysis

Brain-derived neurotrophic factor is a crucial neurotrophic factor that plays a significant role in brain health. Although the vast majority of meta-analyses have confirmed that exercise interventions can increase brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in children and adolescents, the effects of specific types of exercise on brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels are still controversial. To address this issue, we used meta-analytic methods to quantitatively evaluate, analyze, and integrate relevant studies. Our goals were to formulate general conclusions regarding the use of exercise interventions, explore the physiological mechanisms by which exercise improves brain health and cognitive ability in children and adolescents, and provide a reliable foundation for follow-up research. We used the Pub Med, Web of Science, Science Direct, Springer, Wiley Online Library, Weipu, Wanfang, and china National Knowledge Infrastructure databases to search for randomized controlled trials examining the influences of exercise interventions on brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in children and adolescents. The extracted data were analyzed using Review Manager 5.3. According to the inclusion criteria, we assessed randomized controlled trials in which the samples were mainly children and adolescents, and the outcome indicators were measured before and after the intervention. We excluded animal experiments, studies that lacked a control group, and those that did not report quantitative results. The mean difference(MD;before versus after intervention) was used to evaluate the effect of exercise on brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels in children and adolescents. Overall, 531 participants(60 children and 471 adolescents, 10.9–16.1 years) were included from 13 randomized controlled trials. Heterogeneity was evaluated using the Q statistic and I^(2) test provided by Review Manager software. The meta-analysis showed that there was no heterogeneity among the studies(P = 0.67,
