青藏高原奥陶系代表该地区未变质沉积地层的最古老记录,是解读该地区早期地质历史和生物演化的关键层段.青藏高原地区奥陶系底部地层存在不同程度的缺失,但具有下奥陶统弗洛阶、中奥陶统达瑞威尔阶,以及上奥陶统桑比阶、凯迪阶和赫南特阶,可划分为喜马拉雅、冈底斯-察隅、羌塘-昌都、松潘-甘孜、喀喇昆仑-昆仑-阿尔金等地层区,并可与周边的滇缅马、印支、柴达木-祁连、塔里木-天山和扬子区(西缘)等地层区进行综合地层对比.笔石、牙形刺和头足类是青藏高原地区奥陶系最常见的、据以构建该地区生物地层框架的化石门类.青藏高原奥陶纪生物群具有鲜明的生物古地理区系特色,其中头足类在早-中奥陶世以珠角石类繁盛为特征,显示与华北板块具有密切亲缘关系,但到晚奥陶世则以喇叭角石和直角石类繁盛为特征,表现出与华南的密切关系.青藏高原的奥陶纪多门类动物群及其生物古地理演化,为冈瓦纳东北缘地区的奥陶纪古板块重建提供了重要依据.西藏南部喜马拉雅地体、拉萨地体及周边的滇缅马地体在寒武纪晚期-奥陶纪早期经历了库尔加克运动,这次影响深远的构造热事件造成了奥陶纪地层与下伏基底地层之间的角度不整合接触关系,这一间断面在青藏高原大部分地区存在.西藏南部中奥陶统发育鲕粒灰岩和暖水生物群,指示当时位于赤道附近的低纬度地带.喜马拉雅地体及滇缅马地体的上奥陶统普遍发育大套具有网纹结构的海相碳酸盐岩红层,可与华南扬子区的同期地层进行对比,二者可能具有相同或相似的成因背景.奥陶纪末全球性冰期与海平面下降事件也造成了滇西和缅甸掸邦等地区普遍缺失凯迪晚期地层,对青藏高原的申扎和聂拉木等地区也有较大影响.

Plastic pollution, both primary.and secondary. is an environmental challenge, prompting regulatory.actions at global and regional levels. With increasing research about the impacts of micro- and nanoplastics on ecosy.tems and human health, governments worldwide have undertaken efforts to address this issue. The global community.has advanced regulatory.efforts that have led to the implementation of national laws or regulations in numerous countries. These measures ban or restrict the use of primary.and secondary.microplastics and nanoplastics. An overview of global and European regulatory.frameworks is presented to provide contex. for the United States (US). In the endeavor to document plastics regulation development in the US, a description of regulatory.agencies and their roles in advancing policy.and rules as well as future direction and areas for improvement in regulating plastics are introduced. A discussion of what emerging regulations mean to utilities and industries is also provided along with a comparison of regulatory.frameworks.

In this article dedicated to the modeling of vertical mass transfers between the biofilm and the bulk flow, we have, in the first instance, presented the methodology.used, followed by.the presentation of various results obtained through analy.es conducted on velocity.fields, different flux.s, and overall transfer coefficients. Due to numerical constraints (resolution of relevant spatial scales), we have restricted the analy.is to low Schmidt numbers (Sc=0.1, Sc=1, and Sc=10) and a single roughness Rey.olds number (Re*=150). The analy.is of instantaneous concentration fields from various simulations revealed logarithmic concentration profiles above the canopy. In this zone, the concentration is relatively.homogeneous for longer times. The analy.is of results also showed that the contribution of molecular diffusion to the total flux.depends on the Schmidt number. This contribution is negligible for Schmidt numbers Sc≥0.1, but nearly.balances the turbulent flux.for Sc=0.1. In the canopy. the local Sherwood number, given by.the ratio of the total flux.(within or above the canopy. to the molecular diffusion flux.at the wall, also depends on the Schmidt number and varies significantly.between the canopy.and the region above. The ex.hange velocity. a purely.hy.rody.amic parameter, is independent of the Schmidt number and is on the order of 10% of in the present case. This study.also reveals that nutrient absorption by.organisms near the wall depends on the Schmidt number. Such absorption is facilitated by.lower Schmidt numbers.

In the past two decades, augmented reality.（AR） has received a growing amount of attention by.researchers in the manufacturing technology.community. because AR can be applied to address a wide range of problems throughout the assembly.phase in the lifecy.le of a product, e.g., planning, design, ergonomics assessment, operation guidance and training. However, to the best of authors＇ knowledge, there has not been any.comprehensive review of AR-based assembly.sy.tems. This paper aims to provide a concise overview of the technical features, characteristics and broad range of applications of AR- based assembly.sy.tems published between 1990 and 2015. Among these selected articles, two thirds of them were published between 2005 and 2015, and they.are considered as recent pertinent works which will be discussed in detail. In addition, the current limitation factors and future trends in the development will also be discussed.

The Soil and Water Assessment Tool(SWAT) has been widely.used throughout the world to model crop growth and nutrient uptake in various ty.es of soils.A greenhouse ex.eriment was performed to validate the process equations embedded in SWAT for describing the growth and nutrient uptake of tomatoes in south *** scaled growth curve of greenhouse-grown tomatoes was in close agreement with the theoretical model for field conditions,with the scaling factors being the max.mum canopy.height and the potential heat ***,the scaled leaf area index.LAI) growth curve and the scaled root depth curve for greenhousegrown tomatoes agreed with the SWAT functions,with the scaling factors being the max.mum LAI and max.mum root *** greenhouse ex.eriment confirmed that the growth of biomass is a linear function of the intercepted photosy.thetically.active *** fractions of nutrients in the plant biomass under greenhouse conditions were found to be on the order of 60% of those fractions observed in the *** of the initial P distribution(0.2 mg kg -1),initial ratio of mineral stable P to mineral active P(50:1),and initial ratio of humic N to humic P(2.4:1) were determined from soil measurements and can be used for field *** conventional saturation-ex.ess model for soil-water percolation was used to predict the movement of water in the top 10 cm of the greenhouse containers and the results agreed well with measurements.

Non-alcoholic fatty.liver disease (NAFLD), characterized by.hepatic steatosis, is a common metabolic liver disease worldwide. Currently. satisfactory.drugs for NAFLD treatment remain lacking. Obesity.and diabetes are the leading causes of NAFLD, and compounds with anti-obesity.and anti-diabetic activities are considered suitable candidates for treating NAFLD. In this study. biochemical and histological assay. revealed that a natural lignan schisanhenol (SAL) effectively.decreased lipid accumulation and improved hepatic steatosis in free fatty.acid (FFA)-treated HepG2 cells and high-fat diet (HFD)-induced NAFLD mice. Further, molecular analy.es, microRNA (miRNA)-seq, and bioinformatics analy.es revealed that SAL may.improve NAFLD by.targeting the miR-802/adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) pathway. Liver-specific overex.ression of miR-802 in NAFLD mice significantly.impaired SAL-mediated liver protection and decreased the protein levels of phosphory.ated (p)-AMPK and PRKAB1. Dual-luciferase assay.analy.is further confirmed that miR-802 inhibits hepatic AMPK ex.ression by.binding to the 3' untranslated region of mouse Prkab1 or human PRKAA1. Additionally. genetic silencing of PRKAA1 blocked SAL-induced AMPK pathway.activation in FFA-treated HepG2 cells. The results demonstrate that SAL is an effective drug candidate for treating NAFLD through regulating miR-802/AMPK-mediated lipid metabolism. © 2024 The Authors
