SEDIMENTARY, MAGMATIC AND TECTONIC CONSTRAINTS ON THE FORMATION OF THE YULONG SUPPER0-LARGE PORPHYRY COPPER POLYMETAL DEPOSIT, EAST TIBET

The Yulong supper\|large copper deposit is situated within the well\|known S\|N striking Yulong copper\|molybdenum ore belt. The ore\|bearing biotite\|monogranitic porphyry was emplaced within clastic rocks (mainly shales and siltstones) of the Jiapila Formation (T 3 j ) and carbonate rocks of the Bolila Formation (T 3 b ) of the Upper Triassic. Five mineralization patterns have been recognized in the deposit, i.e., ①veinlet\|disseminated Cu\|Mo ore in the porphyry; ②skarn\|type Cu ore at the contact zone with carbonates (T 3 b ); ③stratiform\|like ox.dized Cu ore between T 3 b carbonate rocks and T 3 j hornstones; ④brecciated Cu ore at the local periphery of porphyry; and ⑤vein Pb\|Zn\|Ag ore in the outer contact zone. They constitute a unique integrated polymetal mineralization series of epigenetic intermediate\|acid magmatic hydrothermal *** have shown that the Yulong deposit was the coupling product of sedimentation, magmatism, and tectonism. The Cu\|bearing sandstones in the Japila Formation have provided partial ore\|bearing materials for the porphyry mineralization during the Himalayan period. The mineralized porphyry mass was passively emplaced and controlled by a nose\|like anticlinal trap opening to the north. The interlayered fractured zone formed during folding between the Jiapila and Bolila Formations acted as favorable host space for stratiform\|like skarn and ox.dized ores. A large number of cleavages and fissures developed during folding provided both conduits for the circulation of ore\|forming fluids and host spaces for Pb\|Zn\|Ag ore veins. The veinlet\|disseminated Cu\|Mo ore in the porphyry mass owns the characteristics of typical porphyry copper deposits in the world. The veinlet\|disseminated ore body and the stratiform\|like skarn\|type and/or ox.dized ore body, the two main ore bodies in Yulong, are connected with each other and shown as “mushroom\|like" shape, in which the former occurs as “mushroom stem" and the latter as “mushr

Effects of PI3-k/Akt short hairpin RNA on proliferation, fibronectin production and synthesis of thrombospondin-1 and transforming growth factor-beta（1 ） in glomerular mesangial cells induced by sublytic C5b-9 complex.s

To ex.lore proliferation of glomerular mesangial cells (GMC) and secretion of ex.racelluar matrix.(fibronectin induced by sublytic C5b-9 complex.s), and then ascertain the role of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3-k)/Akt signal pathway in these processes, by using small hairpin RNAs. The ex.ression of cyelin D-2, H-3-thymidine into DNA and production of fibronectin including thrombospondin-1 and transforming growth factor-beta (1) in the GMCs stimulated by sublytie C5b-9 or transfected with ex.ression vectors of PI3-k and Akt short hairpin RNA or LY294002(PI3-k inhibitor) were measured by Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(PCR), Western blot, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) and H-3-thymidine incorporation(H-3-TdR), respectively. The ex.ression of cyclin D-2, H-3-thymidine into DNA and fibronectin in the GMCs stimulated by sublytic C5b-9 could all be increased, and the elevations of these parameters mentioned above were also markedly reduced in the GMCs transfected with vectors of PI3-k and Akt short hairpin RNA or LY294002, respectively. These data indicate that sublytic C5b-9 can promote proliferation of GMCs and secretion of fibronectin as well as synthesis of thrombospondin-1 and transforming growth factor-beta (1). The PI3-k/Akt signal pathway in these reactions, mediated by sublytic C5b-9 complex.s, may play at least a partial role.

Precipitation of multi-type nano-quasicrystals in a Mg-Zn-Y alloy

Mg-6Zn-1Y(at.%)ribbons with strengthening precipitates of multi-type nanoquasicrystals were prepared by melt-spinning followed by aging *** evolution of the rapidly solidified ribbons during isothermal aging was comprehensively studied using various electron microscopy *** new kinds of decagonal quasicrystals were formed in aged ribbons,in addition to precipitation of nanometer icosahedral ***-resolution observations reveal that both decagonal quasicrystals can be modeled by quasiperiodic tiling with decagonal clusters of 2.5 nm in diameter,but overlap of neighboring clusters in both decagonal quasicrystals is different from the Gummelt model observed in other quasicrystals.A shell composed of complex.Laves Mg-Zn domains was formed surrounding each decagonal quasicrystal precipitate upon prolonged *** addition,all kinds of nanoprecipitates ex.ibit ex.ellent structure and size stability at 573 *** findings may have implications for not only fundamental studies about quasicrystals,but also microstructural manipulation of high-performance Mg alloys.

Compressive property and energy absorption characteristic of interconnected porous Mg-Zn-Y alloys with adjusting Y addition

In this study,interconnected porous Mg-2Zn-x. alloys with different phase compositions were prepared by various Y additions(x.0.4,3,and 6 wt.%)to adjust the compressive properties and energy absorption *** characterization methods were then applied to identify the microstructure of the porous Mg-Zn-Y and describe the details of the second *** tests were performed at room temperature(RT),200℃,and 300℃to study the impact of the Y addition and testing temperature on the compressive properties of the porous *** ex.erimental results showed that a high Y content promotes a microstructure refinement and increases the volume fraction of the second *** the Y content increases,different Mg-Zn-Y ternary phases appear:I-phase(Mg_(3)Zn_(6)Y),W-phase(Mg_(3)Zn_(3)Y_(2)),and LPSO phase(Mg_(12)ZnY).When the Y content ranges between 0.4%and 6%,the compressive strength increases from 6.30MPa to 9.23 MPa,and the energy absorption capacity increases from 7.33 MJ/m^(3)to 10.97 MJ/m^(3)at RT,which is mainly attributed to the phase composition and volume fraction of the second ***,the average energy absorption efficiency is independent of the Y *** addition,the compressive deformation behaviors of the porous Mg-Zn-Y are altered by the testing *** compressive strength and energy absorption capacity of the porous Mg-Zn-Y decrease due to the softening effect of the high temperature on the *** deformation behaviors at different temperatures are finally observed to reflect the failure mechanisms of the struts.

目的:探讨维生素A(VAD)缺乏、维生素E缺乏(VED)和传染病之间的关系。对象和方法:从我院选择了684名年龄5个月～12岁之间的健康儿童,在避光条件下用高效液相层析方法检测静脉血中VA、VE含量。然后,两周后统计患急性呼吸道感染或者腹泻儿童。结果:试验两周后(n=684例),患有急性呼吸道感染的儿童VA水平低于正常的儿童(0.23±0.02mg/ml/0.33±0.01 mg/ml),P <0.05。同样,患有急性呼吸道感染的儿童VE水平显著低于正常的儿童(p<0.05)。最有趣的是,腹泻患儿血清中VA水平降低的比例高于无腹泻儿童,说明低于0.2mg/L的VA水平更易对急性呼吸道感染产生影响。结论:我们能够证明,维生素A缺乏的儿童更容易患急性呼吸道感染和腹泻。维生素E缺乏的儿童更容易患急性呼吸道感染。维生素A和维生素E缺乏是儿童急性传染病发生的重要因素之一。

We ex.mine electron kinetic effects in broadband-laser-driven back-stimulated Raman scattering(BSRS)bursts using particle-in-cell *** bursts occur during the nonlinear stage,causing reflectivity spikes and generating large numbers of hot ***-duration simulations are performed to observe burst events,and a simplified model is developed to eliminate the interference of the broadband laser’s random intensity *** the simplified model,we isolate and characterize the spectrum of electron plasma *** spectrum changes from a sideband structure to a turbulence-like structure during the burst.A significant asymmetry in the spectrum is *** asymmetry is amplified and transferred to electron phase space by high-intensity broadband laser pulses,leading to violent vortex.merging and generation of hot *** proportion of hot electrons increases from 6.76%to 14.7%during a single violent burst *** demonstrate that kinetic effects profoundly influence the BSRS evolution driven by broadband lasers.

Comparison of Adaptive Simulation Observation Ex.eriments of the Heavy Rainfall in South China and Sichuan Basin

This study ex.mines the effectiveness of adaptive observation ex.eriments using the ensemble transformation sensitivity (ETS) method to improve precipitation forecasts during heavy rainfall events in South China and the Sichuan Basin. High-resolution numerical models are employed to simulate adaptive observations. By identifying the sensitive areas of key weather system positions 42 hours before heavy rainfall events, the adaptive observations improve the prediction of jet streams, strong winds, and shear lines, which are essential for accurate heavy rainfall forecasting. This improvement is reflected in both the precipitation structure and location accuracy within the verification region. In South China, targeted observations enhance rainfall predictions by improving water vapor transport. In the Sichuan Basin, adaptive observations refine water vapor transport and adjust vortex.dynamics. This research highlights the importance of accurately predicting shear lines and jet streams for forecasting heavy rainfall in these areas. Overall, this study found that adaptive observation enhances the precipitation forecast skills of the structure and location for heavy rainfall in South China and the Sichuan Basin, emphasizing their potential utility in operational numerical weather prediction. © Institute of Atmospheric Physics/Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Science Press 2024.

Based on the mechanical fatigue ex.eriment, the 3-D contact models including piston, piston pin and connecting rod are established and 1/4 FEA model is introduced to the ANSYS software. Considering the motion and the nonlinear material properties of piston and piston pin, the Newmark time integral algorithm of transient analysis full method and Newton-Raphson equilibrium iterative method are applied to calculate the nonlinear dynamic responses. In the calculation, the contact forms of forces and the relative movement between piston and piston pin are described with contact pairs and analyzed with the Augmented Lagrange method. As results, the transient stress-strain responses especially contact statuses and contact stresses are obtained from the elastic-plastic FEA, and the upper end of piston pin seat comes into stress concentration and generates mechanical fatigue crack, which are in good agreement with the ex.erimental results. The effects on mechanical fatigue crack are discussed on the elastic-plastic theory and by comparing the changes of contact characters between piston pin seat and piston pin with various factors, such as alternating load, loaded frequency and contact , especially contact friction.

Knowledge of the magnetic field morphology in the near-Venus wake is essential to the studies of magnetotail dynamics and the planetary plasma *** this study we use the magnetic field measurements made by Venus Ex.ress during the period of April 2006 to December 2012 to investigate the global magnetic field morphology in the near-Venus magnetotail(0-3 Venusian radii,R,down tail) in the frame of solar wind electric field *** hemisphere with electric field pointing toward/away is indicated as ±E *** has been reported that the cross-tail field component has a hemispheric asymmetry in the Venusian *** report here that this asymmetry should have been formed at the terminator and would transport *** addition,we find that the draped magnetic field lines near both hemispheric flanks are directed equatorward in the region 0-1.5 Rv down tail as it looks like "sinking" into Venus *** estimate the thickness of the magnetotail current sheet and the current density at the sheet *** find that the average half thickness of central current sheet near +E hemispheric flank(60 km) is almost twice as thick as that near magnetic equatorial plane(00 km),but the corresponding current densities at the sheet center are comparable(.0 nA/m).As a result,the larger cross-tail field component found near the +E hemispheric flank suggests a stronger tailward j×B force,i.e.,the more efficient tailward acceleration of plasma in this region,showing the agreement with previous observations of heavy ion outflow from *** contrast,the average magnetic field structure near —E hemispheric flank is irregular,which suggests that dynamic activities,such as magnetic reconnection and magnetic field turbulence,preferentially appear there.
