Optimizing impedance matching by a dual-carbon Co-regulation strategy of Co_(3)O_(4)@rGO/celery stalks derived carbon composites for excellent microwave absorption

Both macroscopic composition and microstructure should be considered for reasonable microwave ab-sorbent *** this study,Co_(3)O_(4)@reduced graphene oxide(rGO)/Celery stalks derived carbon(CDC)was prepared by loading Co_(3)O_(4) particles into rGO and biomass-derived carbon mixture through oxidation *** changing the mass ratio of rGO to CDC,the dielectric and impedance matching proper-ties of the composites can be easily *** RL min value of Co_(3)O_(4)@rGO/CDC_(13) composite(weight ratio for rGO:CDC is 1:3)reaches-84.3 dB with a thickness of 4.6 mm,and the widest effective band-width can be obtained at 4.5 GHz with a matching thickness of 2.8 *** Co_(3)O_(4)@rGO/CDC_(13) compos-ite with multiple components(Co_(3)O_(4),CDC,rGO)and 3D net structure produces magnetic/dielectric loss combinations,interfacial polarization,and multiple reflections and scattering,and the CDC with half tube and half sheet structure is conducive to the optimization of impedance *** strategy of co-regulating dielectric properties of materials with double carbon provides a novel pathway for the prepa-ration of lightweight,low-cost,and high-performance absorbers.

Organic depressants have low selectivity in separating molybdenite and talc because their metal sites lack activity for organics *** this study,surface modification by copper sulfate was used to induce the differential adsorption of pectin onto molybdenite and talc surfaces for enhanced flotation ***-angle experiments,scanning electron microscopy,adsorption measurements,timeof-flight secondary-ion mass spectrometry,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analyses were conducted to reveal the interaction *** illustrated that molybdenite and talc could not be separated using pectin alone,while molybdenite was selectively depressed after surface modification by copper sulfate and this effect was strengthened under alkaline *** sites(Mg,Si and Mo)of talc and molybdenite themselves were unable to react with pectin,whereas Cu+would deposit and further function as active site for pectin chemisorption after surface ***,the quantity of deposited Cu sites dropped on talc surface and increased on molybdenite surface with increased pH,and the Mo atoms of molybdenite crystal were activated to take part in pectin ***,more pectin was adhered on molybdenite surface,which imparted molybdenite stronger ***,surface-modification through metal ions can enable the differential adsorption of organic depressants and enhance the flotation separation of minerals.

Heat stress(HS)can be detrimental to the gut health of *** negative outcomes induced by HS are increasingly recognized as including modulation of intestinal *** turn,the intestinal microbiota is a unique ecosystem playing a critical role in mediating the host stress ***,we aimed to characterize gut microbiota of pigs’exposure to short-term HS,to explore a possible link between the intestinal microbiota and HS-related changes,including serum cytokines,oxidation status,and intestinal epithelial barrier *** findings showed that HS led to intestinal morphological and integrity changes(villus height,serum diamine oxidase[DAO],serum D-lactate and the relative expressions of tight junction proteins),reduction of serum cytokines(interleukin[IL]-8,IL-12,interferongamma[IFN-g]),and antioxidant activity(higher glutathione[GSH]and malondialdehyde[MDA]content,and lower superoxide dismutase[SOD]).Also,16S rRNA sequencing analysis revealed that although there was no difference in microbial a-diversity,some HS-associated composition differences were revealed in the ileum and cecum,which partly led to an imbalance in the production of short-chain fatty acids including propionate acid and valerate *** networks revealed that HS-derived changes in bacterial genera and microbial metabolites,such as Chlamydia,Lactobacillus,Succinivibrio,Bifidobacterium,Lachnoclostridium,and propionic acid,were correlated with oxidative stress,intestinal barrier dysfunction,and inflammation in ***,our observations suggest that intestinal damage induced by HS is probably partly related to the gut microbiota dysbiosis,though the underlying mechanism remains to be fully elucidated.

Hydrogel scaffolds have numerous potential applications in the tissue engineering ***,tough hydrogel scaffolds implanted in vivo are seldom reported because it is difficult to balance biocompatibility and high mechanical *** by Chinese ramen,we propose a universal fabricating method(printing-P,training-T,cross-linking-C,PTC&PCT)for tough hydrogel scaffolds to fill this ***,3D printing fabricates a hydrogel scaffold with desired structures(P).Then,the scaffold could have extraordinarily high mechanical properties and functional surface structure by cycle mechanical training with salting-out assistance(T).Finally,the training results are fixed by photo-cross-linking processing(C).The tough gelatin hydrogel scaffolds exhibit excellent tensile strength of 6.66 MPa(622-fold untreated)and have excellent ***,this scaffold possesses functional surface structures from nanometer to micron to millimeter,which can efficiently induce directional cell ***,this strategy can produce bionic human tissue with mechanical properties of 10 kPa-10 MPa by changing the type of salt,and many hydrogels,such as gelatin and silk,could be improved with PTC or PCT *** experiments show that this scaffold can effectively promote the new generation of muscle fibers,blood vessels,and nerves within 4 weeks,prompting the rapid regeneration of large-volume muscle loss injuries.

Symmetry,including the parity-time(PT)-symmetry,is a striking topic,widely discussed and employed in many *** is well-known that quantum measurement can destroy or disturb quantum ***,can and how does quantum measurement destroy the symmetry of the measured system?To answer the pertinent question,we establish the correlation between the quan-tum measurement and Floquet PT-symmetry and investigate for the first time how the measurement frequency and measurement strength affect the PT-symmetry of the measured system using the 40Ca+*** is already shown that the measurement at high frequencies would break the PT ***,even for an inadequately fast measurement frequency,if the measurement strength is sufficiently strong,the PT symmetry breaking can *** current work can enhance our knowledge of quantum measurement and symmetry and may inspire further research on the effect of quantum measurement on symmetry.

Scheme to measure the expectation value of a physical quantity in weak coupling regime

A pulse-width-modulation （PWM） digital controller design method in aeration control, which can reduce the energy costs of the control procedure, is proposed for wastewater treatment process based on the ASM1 model. First, an optimal linearization technique is applied to the aeration nonlinear system for finding a local optimal linear model, which has the same dynamics of the original nonlinear system at the operating point of interest. Then, a discrete-time optimal control law in pulse-amplitude-modulated （PAM） form is designed using LQR method. The PWM digital control law is then converted, using the digital redesign technique, from the corresponding PAM control law for the purpose of engineering realization. Last, simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and the whole energy consumption is also computed. It has been shown that compared with the conventional multi-set point on/off control and on/off control method, the proposed method can save more energy than other approaches.

In quantum mechanics, the expectation value of an operator can be measured by using the projective measurement, ifthe coupling between the measured system and pointer is strong enough. However in the weak coupling regime, the pointercan not show all the eigenvalue of the physical quantity directly due to the overlapping among the pointer states, whichmakes the measurement of the expectation value difficult. In this paper, we propose an expectation value measurementmethod in the weak coupling regime inspired by the weak measurement scheme. Compared to the projective measurement,our scheme has two obvious advantages. Experimentally we use the internal state and motional state of a single trapped40Ca+ to establish the measurement scheme and realize the proof of principle demonstration of the scheme.

Pre-configured cycles （p-cycles） can attain high capacity efficiency and fast protection switching times in wavelength division multiplexing （WDM） networks. This article proposes the weighted straddling link algorithm（WSLA） for generating a subset of all cycles that can guarantee 100% restorability in case of dual link failure, and give an integer linear programming（1LP） formulation that solves the shared p-cycles design problem minimizing the total spare capacities. Numerical result shows that our method can achieve 100% dual link failure restorability with acceptable spare capacity. The larger standard deviation of demand set and the larger node degree network, the better the shared p-cycles scheme performs.
