The selective oxidation of cyclohexane is a promising green route for the production of KA oil(cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone),but remains a huge challenge to design high-performing heterogeneous catalysts under mild ***,a pure silica ZSM-12.MTW topology)zeolite was applied as the support to immobilize highly dispersive tetrahedrally coordinated vanadium(V)species and the constructed catalyst 1%V/SZ-12.exhibited high efficiency in the fast and selective oxidation of cyclohexane into cyclohexanone with H_(2.O_(2..The reaction completed within 30 s,affording the selectivity of 99%towards cyclohexanone and the extremely high turnover frequency(TOF)of 5,891 h^(-1).1%V/SZ-12.was facilely reused with stable activity and feasibly extended to the oxidation of various cyclohexane *** one-dimensional 12.membered ring microchannels contributed to the formation and accessibility of tetrahedrally coordinated high valent V5+species as the robust active centers,which activated H_(2.O_(2. to generate V–O–O·,the active oxygen species for the electrophilic attack on cyclohexane to produce cyclohexanone as the sole product.

Iron-chromium redox flow batteries(ICRFBs)have emerged as promising energy storage devices due to their safety,environmental protection,and reliable *** carbon cloth(CC),often used in ICRFBs as the electrode,provides a suitable platform for electrochemical processes owing to its high surface area and interconnected porous ***,the CC electrodes have issues,such as,insufficient electron transfer performance,which limits their industrial ***,we employed silicic acid etching to carve dense nano-porous structures on the surface of CC electrodes based on the favorable design of ICRFBs and the fundamental principles of electrode polarization *** a result,we developed a multifunctional carbon cloth electrode with abundant vacancies,notably enhancing the performance of the *** fabricated electrode showcased a wealth of defect sites and superior electronic transport properties,offering an extensive and effective reaction area for rapidly flowing *** an electrode compression ratio of 40%and the highest current density in ICRFBs so far(140 mA·cm^(-2.),the battery achieved the average energy efficiency of 81.3%,11.2.%enhancement over the previously published ***,throughout 100 charge-discharge cycles,the average energy efficiency degradation was negligible(~0.04%),which has the potential to become the most promising candidate for large-scale and long-term electrochemical energy storage applications.

The earth-abundant and high-performance catalysts are crucial for commercial implementation of hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Herein,a multifunctional site strategy to construct excellent HER catalysts by incorporating iridium(Ir)ions on the atomic scale into orthorhombic-CoSe2.Ir-CoSe_(2.)was *** hydrogen evolution activity in alkaline media such as a low overpotential of 48.7 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2.and better performance than commercial Pt/C catalysts at high current densities were found in the Ir-CoSe_(2. *** the experiments and theoretical calculations,it was revealed that Ir enabled CoSe_(2.to form multifunctional sites to synergistically catalyze alkaline HER by promoting the adsorption and dissociation of H_(2.O(Ir sites)and optimizing the binding energy for H^(*)on Co *** was noticeable that the electrolytic system comprising the Ir-CoSe_(2.electrode not only produced hydrogen efficiently via HER,but also degraded organic pollutants(Methylene blue).The cell voltage of the dual-function electrolytic system was 1.58 V at the benchmark current density of 50 mA cm^(-2.,which was significantly lower than the conventional water splitting *** was indicated that this method was a novel strategy for designing advanced HER electrocatalysts by constructing multifunctional catalytic sites for hydrogen production and organic degradation.

Variability of clay mineral assemblages in the Western Pacific Warm Pool(WPWP) over the past 370 ka shows the prominent glacial-interglacial ***(62.-91%) is the dominant clay mineral,with decreased contents during interglacials while increased in *** contrast,variations in chlorite(4%-2.%),illite(4%-12.),and kaolinite(2.-10%) share a similar pattern with higher contents during interglacials than glacials,mirroring to that of *** results indicate that the smectite-dominated clay minerals derive mainly from the river detrital inputs of New *** glacial-interglacial cycle of clay mineral assemblages well correspond to the fluctuation of sea *** the sea level was low,the river materials can travel more easily across the narrow shelf off the island of New Guinea,inject directly into the subsurface currents flowing westwards,then merge into the Equatorial Undercurrent(EUC),and eventually deposit on the central part of *** periods of the smectite content indicate the intensity of mechanical erosion in its provenance of New Guinea,responding to the river runoff and precipitation,and this could also be linked to the meridional migration of the Intertropical Convergence Zone(ITCZ).

Background: Although some well-established oncogenes are involved in cancer initiation and progression such as prostate cancer (PCa), the long tail of cancer genes remains to be defined. Goosecoid (GSC) has been implicated in cancer development. However, the comprehensive biological role ofGSC in pan-cancer, specifically in PCa, remains unexplored. The aim of this study was to investigate the role ofGSC in PCa ***: We performed a systematic bioinformatics exploration ofGSC using datasets from The Cancer Genome Atlas, Genotype-Tissue Expression, Gene Expression Omnibus, German Cancer Research Center, and our in-house cohorts. First, we evaluated the expression ofGSC and its association with patient prognosis, and identifiedGSC-relevant genetic alterations in cancers. Further, we focused on the clinical characterization and prognostic analysis ofGSC in PCa. To understand the transcriptional regulation ofGSC by E2. transcription factor 1 (E2.1), we performed chromatin immunoprecipitation quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). Functional experiments were conducted to validate the effect ofGSC on the tumor cellular phenotype and sensitivity to ***: GSC expression was elevated in various tumors and significantly correlated with patient prognosis. The alterations ofGSC contribute to the progression of various tumors especially in PCa. Patients with PCa and highGSC expression exhibited worse progression-free survival and biochemical recurrence outcomes. Further,GSC upregulation in patients with PCa was mostly accompanied with higher Gleason score, advanced tumor stage, lymph node metastasis, and elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels. Mechanistically, the transcription factor,E2.1, stimulatesGSC by binding to its promoter region.
