Two new acetylated kaempferol glycosides were isolated from the seeds of Camellia semiserrata Chi, their structures were elucidated as kaempferol-3-O-[（3-O-acetyl）-a-L-rhamnopyranosyl（1 →3）（4-O-acetyl）-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl（1→ 6）-β-D-glucopyranoside] （1） and kaempferol-3-O-[（2-O-acetyl）-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl （1 →3）（4-O-acetyl）-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl（1 →6）-β-D- gluco-pyranoside] （2） by spectral experiments （including ESI-MS, 1D- and 2D-NMR）..

A new HPV-16/18 bivalent vaccine expressed by the Escherichia coli has been proven to be efficacious in adult women.A randomized,immunogenicity noninferiority study of this candidate vaccine was conducted in December 2015 in *** aged 9–14 years were randomized to receive 2 doses at months 0 and 6(n=301)or 3 doses at months 0,1 and 6(n=304).Girls aged 15–17 years(n=149)and women aged 18–26 years(n=225)received 3 *** objectives included noninferiority analysis of the IgG geometric mean concentration(GMC)ratio(95%CI,lower bound>0.5)to HPV-16 and HPV-18 at month 7 in girls compared with *** the per-protocol set,the GMC ratio of IgG was noninferior for girls aged 9–17 years receiving 3 doses compared with women(1.76(95%CI,1.56,1.99)for HPV-16 and 1.93(95%CI,1.69,2.21)for HPV-18)and noninferior for girls aged 9–14 years receiving 2 doses compared with women(1.45(95%CI,1.25,1.62)for HPV-16 and 1.17(95%CI,1.02,1.33)for HPV-18).Noninferiority was also demonstrated for neutralizing *** immunogenicity of the HPV vaccine in girls receiving 3 or 2 doses was noninferior compared with that in young adult women.

Smart dust,which refers to miniaturized,multifunctional sensor motes,would open up data acquisition opportunities for Internet of Things(IoT)and Environmental protection ***,critical obstacles remain challenging in the integration of high-density sensors,further miniaturization of device platforms,and reduction of ***,we demonstrate the concept of smart digital dust to address these problems,the results of which combine the benefit of(i)maturity of complementary metal-oxide semiconductor(CMOS)processing approaches and(ii)unique form factors of emerging flex-ible *** a prototype for smart digital dust,we present a millimeter-scale multifunctional optoelectronic sensor platform con-sisting of high-performance optoelectronic sensor cores and commer-cially available integrated-circuit *** smart material-assisted optoelectronic sensing mechanism enables real-time,high-sensitivity hydrogen,temperature,and relative humidity(RH)sens-ing based on a single chip with ultralow power *** a microsystem presented here introduces a viable solution to the multi-functional sensing need of IoT and could serve as a building block for the rapidly evolving future framework of smart dust.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a significant pathogen mainly causing healthcare-associated infections(HAIs).Newly emerging high-risk clones of *** with elevated virulence profiles furtherly cause severe community-acquired infections(CAIs).Usually,it is not common for *** to co-carry exoU and exoS genes,encoding two type III secretion system(T3SS)*** pathogenicity mechanism of exoS+/exoU+strains of *** remains ***,we provide detailed evidence for a subset of hypervirulent *** strains,which abundantly co-express and secrete the T3SS effectors ExoS and *** exoS+/exoU+*** strains were available to cause both HAIs and *** CAI-associated strains could elicit severe inflammation and hemorrhage,leading to higher death rates in a murine acute pneumonia model,and had great virulence potential in establishing chronic infections,demonstrating hypervirulence when compared to PAO1(exoS+/exoU-)and PA14(exoS-/exoU+).Both ExoS and ExoU were co-expressed and co-secreted in abundance in exoS+/exoU+*** abundant protein secretion could boost exoS+/exoU+strains’potentials for cytotoxicity in vitro and pathogenicity in *** evidence indicates that exoU acquisition is likely mediated by horizontal gene transfer(HGT)of the pathogenicity island PAPI-2,while deletion of exoU was sufficient to mitigate virulence in the exoS+/exoU+***,bioinformatics analysis showed that such exoS+/exoU+*** strains turned out to be widely distributed across the ***,the research provide detailed evidence for the high virulence and epidemicity of exoS+/exoU+strains of ***,highlighting an urgent need for surveillance against these high-risk hypervirulent strains.

The ongoing coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic caused more than 96 million infections and over 2 million deaths worldwide so ***,there is no approved vaccine available for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),the disease causative *** is the most effective approach to eradicate a *** tests of safety and efficacy in animals are pivotal for developing a vaccine and before the vaccine is applied to human *** we evaluated the safety,immunogenicity,and efficacy of an inactivated vaccine based on the whole viral particles in human ACE2 transgenic mouse and in non-human *** data showed that the inactivated vaccine successfully induced SARS-CoV-2-specific neutralizing antibodies in mice and non-human primates,and subsequently provided partial(in low dose)or full(in high dose)protection of challenge in the tested *** addition,passive serum transferred from vaccine-immunized mice could also provide full protection from SARS-CoV-2 infection in *** results warranted positive outcomes in future clinical trials in humans.
