Application of forecasting structural cracks technique of 3DMove in Chengdao buried hill

3DMove software, based on the three-dimension structural model of geologic inter- pretation, can forecast reservoir cracks from the point of view of formation of the structural ge- ology, and analyze the characteristics of the cracks. 3DMove software dominates in forecasting cracks. We forecast the developments and directions of the cracks in Chengbei buried hill with the application of forecasting technique in 3DMove software, and obtain the chart about strain distributing on top in buried hill and the chart about relative density and orientation and the chart about the analysis of crack unsealing. In Chengbei 30 buried hill zone, north-west and north-east and approximately east-west cracks in Cenozoic are very rich and the main directions in every fault block are different. Forecasting results that are also verified by those of drilling approxi- mately accord with the data from well logging, the case of which shows that the technique has the better ability in forecasting cracks, and takes more effects on exploration and exploitation of crack reservoir beds in ancient buried hill reservoirs.

In the present paper combining the relationship between wave steepness andwave age with the significant wave energy balance equation for wind wave, a new wind wave growthrelation is presented. Comparisons with the other existing wind wave growth relations show that theresults in present paper accord better with the wind wave growth process.

The main modes of interannal variabilities of thermocline and sea surface wind stress in the tropical Pacific and their interactions are investigated,which show the following results.(1. The thermocline anomalies in the tropical Pacific have a zonal dipole pattern with 1.0°W as its axis and a meridional seesaw pattern with 6-8°N as its transverse *** meridional oscillation has a phase lag of about 90° to the zonal oscillation,both oscillations get together to form the El Ni?o/La Ni?a cycle,which be-haves as a mixed layer water oscillates anticlockwise within the tropical Pacific basin between equator and 1.°N.(2) There are two main patterns of wind stress anomalies in the tropical Pacific,of which the first component caused by trade wind anomaly is characterized by the zonal wind stress anomalies and its corresponding divergences field in the equatorial Pacific,and the abnormal cross-equatorial flow wind stress and its corresponding divergence field,which has a sign opposite to that of the equatorial region,in the off-equator of the tropical North Pacific,and the second component represents the wind stress anomalies and corresponding divergences caused by the ITCZ anomaly.(3) The trade winds anomaly plays a decisive role in the strength and phase transition of the ENSO cycle,which results in the sea level tilting,provides an initial potential energy to the mixed layer water oscillation,and causes the opposite thermocline displacement between the west side and east side of the equator and also between the equator and 1.°N of the North Pacific basin,therefore determines the amplitude and route for ENSO *** ITCZ anomaly has some effects on the phase transition.(4) The thermal anomaly of the tropical western Pacific causes the wind stress anomaly and extends eastward along the equator accompanied with the mixed layer water oscillation in the equatorial Pacific,which causes the trade winds anomaly and produces the anomalous wind stress and the corresponding di

The non-local vacuum condensates of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) describe the distributions of quarks and gluons in the non-perturbative QCD vacuum state. Physically, this means that vacuum quarks and gluons have a nonzero mean-squared momentum in the vacuum, called virtuality. The quark virtuality is given by the ratio of the local quark-gluon mixed vacuum condensate to the quark local vacuum condensate. The gluon virtuality is expressed by gluon vacuum condensates and four-quark vacuum condensates. We study the two virtualities by solving Dyson-Schwinger Equations and calculating quark and gluon vacuum condensates. Our theoretical results for quark virtuality are in good agreement with many other theoretical model predictions such as QCD sum rules and lattice QCD calculations. Our calculation on gluon virtuality is initial and the results are quite interesting.

Laminaria gametophyte clone culture and its application in sporeling cultivation

In china, the total annual production of cultured Laminaria japonica reached half million tons in dry weight there few years. The routine sporeling culture technique conducted in the greenhouse took at least three and half months. In such a case, sometimes the sporelings died within a few days due to destructive diseases. In Order to overcome the mentioned problems, a new sporeling culture technique, the clone technique, is developed. The method includes three stead: (1. Gametophyte clone culture. The spores and the gametophytes are cloned in flasks under favorable environments. (2) Sporeling cul ture. Male and female clones are crushed and spread onto a frame to allow the gametophytes to attach to the substrata. The frames are cultured in tanks, and the sporophytes reach 1.cm in length within one and a half months. (3) Outgrowing of the plant. The frames are put in the open sea when seawater temperature decreased to 20℃. After one month, the sporelings are large enough to be transplanted. It is concluded that the clone technique has the following advantages: (1.Large amount of clones can be produced in a short period of time. (2) Clone seeding method makes it free from the biological rhythm, one can seed the plant anytime all the year round. (3) It takes only one and a half months to complete the process of sporeling cultivation in the greenhouse. At present, this technique is used in the breeding of new strains of Laminaria.

Based on compositive analysis and interpretation of the observed and historical data, the geophysical field characters and structural properties of the Gagua “Wedge” Zone of the sea area east of Taiwan Island and the primary tectonic stress direction and its variabilities of backarc spreading in the southern Okinawa Trough are studied. It is concluded from the study results that the Gagua “Wedge” Zone is structurally consistent with the Gagua ridge and two fault basins on both sides of the Gagua ridge, and adjusts the moving direction and distance of the western Philippine Sea plate to make the northwestward motion of the plate on its east side change to the northward subduction of the plate on its west side so that the primary tectonic stress direction of the Okinawa Trough changed from NW-SE to nearly N-S, which provided the stress source for the Okinawa Trough to enter the second spreading stage.

To study how the air and sea interact with each other during El Ni o/La Nina onsets, extended associate pattern analysis (EAPA) isadopted with the simple ocean data assimilation (SODA) data. The results show that as El Nino/La Nina's parents their behaviors arequite different, there does not exist a relatively independent tropical atmosphere but does exist a relatively independent tropical PacificOcean because the air is heated from the bottom surface instead of the top surface and of much stronger baroclinic instability than thesea and has a very large inter-tropical convergence zone covering the most tropical Pacific Ocean. The idea that it is the wester burstand wind convergence, coming from middle latitudes directly that produce the seawater eastward movement and meridionalconvergence in the upper levels and result in the typical El Nino sea surface temperature warm signal is confirmed again.

Pacific abalone(Haliotis discus hannai Ino) aquaculture is a thriving industry in *** paper describes a novel submerged cage culture system for abalone rearing in Fujian,South china. The cage consisted of five vertical slots that were oriented perpendicular to the flow of *** slots were separated by six vertically connected plastic plates for abalone attachment and shelter at the bottom of the *** experiments were set for detecting the effects of initial stocking density and culture system on growth and biomass of Pacific *** 1.was designed to determine the appropriate stocking density at the start of the abalone sea-based production cycle. 8-month old juveniles were transferred from hatchery and started to be reared in sea-based culture *** were size-graded first and then used as experimental *** length of juveniles obtained in this novel culture system on 2,3.5 and 5 months,respectively,was assessed by comparing with that in traditional multi-tier basket culture system at varying stocking densities over a 5-month testing *** Experiment 2,daily growth rates(DGRs) in shell length and biomass in terms of wet weight of two-year old abalones reared in cage and tiered basket culture systems were compared at the end of 6-month experimental time for detecting whether growth superiorities occur in the newly established *** of Experiment 1.showed that growth of abalone in the cage culture system is density-dependent;however,the mean final shell length of juveniles obtained was 6.7-1..9%higher than in tiered baskets system even at the same initial stocking *** in Experiment 2,DGRs in shell length of 53.83-78.38 urn day obtained in cage system were significantly higher than that in tiered baskets(P 1..And in terms of wet weight biomass,it was 1.48-3.01.times higher in the cage system compared with the traditional *** of abalone in both experiments was more than 87.5%in both culture
