Inactivation of the Rho-ROCK signaling pathway to promote neurologic recovery after spinal cord injuries in rats

A competitive coupling of amide anion over menthyl propionate anion with aryl radical in photo-S_(RN) 1 mechanism was encountered. The rcaction afforded N-aryl propionic amide in excel- lent yield. In contrast, the expected nucleophilic photo-S_(RN) 1 substitution originating from the carb- anion was observed in the case of t-butyl propionate. According to the proposed mechanisms and MO correlation diagrams of the coupling step of nucleophiles with aryl radical, the interesting con- trast is reasonably attributed to the variation in energy gap between π~*c-o and π~*Ar of (ArNu)- Usually, the odd electron of (ArNu)- is weightly populated at π~*c-o, however, the diminished priv- ilege of π~*c-o in menthyl propionate promotes a dominant population of the odd electron at π~*Ar, which leads to the fragmentation of (ArNu)- into the starting carbanion and aryl radical.

Stereochemistry of the coupling step in photo-S_(RN) 1 reaction

The photo-S_(RN) 1 reaction of (+)-camphor and aryl halides was investigated in order to estimate the stereochemistry of the coupling step of aryl radicals with a nucleophile. The ratio of endo to exo products determined by ~1H NMR and CD spectra was found to be 99:1. MNDO calculations of the orbital parameters showed a favorable one-sided overlap of the enolate ion with the SOMO of aryl radical. In addition, fragmentation of (ArX)^- was found to be related to the energy of SOMO of (ArX)^-.

The photostimulated reaction of halonaphthalene with a series of carbanions derived from, propionic acid derivatives in liquid ammonia led to the naphthylation at a-carbon of the carbanions in an isolated yield ranging from 25％ to 86％.In all cases,the dehalonaphthalenes were found to, be by-products and the reaction was inhibited by *** electron transfer from the carbanion to the halonaphthalene followed by ejection of halogen led to naphtbyl radical,as predicted by comparing the LUMOs of the carbanions and the halonaphthalenes,was involved in the process. Absence of the alkylnaphthalene and 1,2-dinaphthylalkane in the products indicates the smooth electron transfer between(Naph-Nu)^+ and Naph-X.C-vs.O-naphthylation is fully addressed in terms of MNDO calculations and acid-base principle.

Overwhelming decomposition of 4-bromo-4'-cyanomethylbiphenylyl radical anion without electron transfer to 4,4'-dibromobiphenyl

Dibromobiphenyl reacted with cynomethyl anion in ammonia under irradiation to form nucleophilic bis-substituted product in high yield without substantial monosubstituted product. Quantum yields for the formations of bis- and monosubstituted products were found to be 85.6 and 2.3×10-6 respectively, while the corresponding pseudo-first-order rates were 6.9×10-3 and 5.2×10-10 mol.L-1.S-1. Block up the possible electron transfer of 4-brome-4'-cyanomethylbiphenylyl radical anion to 4-cyanometbyl-biphenylyl radical and bromine ion.

Effect of secondary MO interaction on the regiospecificity in the reactions of α-ionones with singlet oxygen

The eme reactions of α-ionones with singlet oxygen were examined to ascertain the effect of secondary Me interaction between the reactants on the reaction regiospecificity. Exclusive formation of 3-hydroxy-γ-ionones found in the reactions reveals favorable interaction of singlet oxygen with the acyclic α-hydrogen atom,On the other hand,no formation of 3-hy- droxy-β-ionones implies that the steric requirement was not met for the bond formation between zwitterionic perepoxide with C_1-hydrogen in the *** MMP21 and MNDO calculations indicate minus value of the secondary interaction energy for the aeyelie α-hydrogen abstrac- tion and a repulsion between the oxygen with C_1-hydrogen *** tilting of the double bond may account for favorable attack of singlet oxygen on C_*** explanation of the excellent regiospecificity was addressed and placed in proper mechanic prospective.

A GNSS Anti-Spoofing Technique Based on the Spatial Distribution Characteristic of the Residual Vectors

Anti-spoofing is becoming a crucial technique for applications with high navigation accuracy and reliability ***-spoofing technique based on Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring(RAIM)is a good choice for most Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)receivers because it does not require any change to the hardware of the ***,the conventional RAIM method can only detect and mitigate a single spoofing *** improved RAIM methods can deal with more spoofing signals,but the computational complexity increases dramatically when the number of satellites in view increase or need additional *** paper proposes a new RAIM method,called the SRV-RAIM method,which has a very low computation complexity regardless of the number of satellites in view and can deal with any number of spoofing *** key to the new method is the spatial distribution characteristic of the Satellites'Residual Vectors(SRV).In replay or generative spoofing scenarios,the pseudorange measurements of spoofing signals are consistent,the residual vectors of real satellites and those of spoofing satellites have good separation characteristics in spatial *** on this characteristic,the SRV-RAIM method is proposed,and the simulation results show that the method can separate the real signals and the spoofing signals with an average probability of 86.55%in the case of 12 visible satellites,regardless of the number of spoofing *** to the conventional traversal-RAIM method,the performance is only reduced by 3.59%,but the computational cost is reduced by 98.3%,so most of the GNSS receivers can run the SRV-RAIM algorithm in time.

Quantitative analysis of activated neurons in mouse brains by a specific stimulation is usually a primary step to locate the responsive neurons throughout the brain. However, it is challenging to comprehensively and consistently analyze the neuronal activity trace in whole brains of a large cohort of mice from many terabytes of volumetric imaging data. Here, we introduce NEATmap, a deep learning–based high-efficiency,high-precision and user-friendly software for whole-brain neuronal activity trace mapping by automated segmentation and quantitative analysis of immunofluorescence labeled c-Fos+neurons. We applied NEATmap to study the brain-wide differentiated neuronal activation in response to physical and psychological stressors in cohorts of mice.
