Long Range Wireless Sensor Network Employing Cooperative Relaying-UAVs via LEO Satellite

In this study we proposed unique system model for wireless sensor network data telemetry in a wide area and long range. This system is made up with a wide area wireless sensor nodes, UAVs （unmanned aerial vehicles） and LEO （low earth orbit） communication satellite. Wirelessly data signals relaying from sensor nodes on ground to flying UAVs and relaying them to LEO satellite were studied. Three cases of studies were conducted： system without UAV-relay case, one UAV-relay case and two UAV-relay cases. In all the cases, the outage probabilities of data signal channel in Rayleigh fading environment were analyzed and overall system performance was quantified while considering an adaptive decode-and-forward relaying protocol scheme for UAVs. Then, the overall system channel signal-to-noise ratio required in order to achieve a predefined outage probability was analyzed at different channel data rate.

微创技术与器械设备的进步给外科治疗模式提供了广阔的发展空间。在这一进程中，手术机器人系统正在扮演着重要角色，已经并将继续带给医生更多潜在的技术获益及患者更大的疗效获益。胃癌手术是外科最常见的手术之一。已有许多研究证实．机器人胃癌手术具有满意的短期疗效（如快速的术后康复），而且与开腹手术具有相同的根治效果。但是，机器人胃癌手术也存在一些不足和隐患，如手术时间延长，费用较高。远期疗效不明确。因此，机器人胃癌手术的作用还存在争议。本文基于现有的循证医学证据，对机器人胃癌根治手术的技术特点和疗效及临床应用前景进行评述。

Bone diseases such as osteoporosis and periodontitis are induced by excessive osteoclastic activity,which is closely associated with ***(BA)has been used as a cytokine-suppressive or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines or ***,its role in osteoclast differentiation and function remains ***,we explored the role of BA in regulating osteoclast differentiation and elucidated the underlying *** inhibited osteoclast differentiation and strongly suppressed interleukin-1β(IL-1β)*** inhibited osteoclast formation and bone resorption when added to bone marrowderived macrophages and differentiated osteoclasts,and the inhibitory effect was reversed by IL-1β*** reporter assay and the inhibitor study of IL-1βtranscription suggested that BA inhibited nuclear factor-κB and activator protein-1 by regulating IκB kinase,extracellular signal regulated kinase and P38,resulting in the down-regulation of IL-1β*** also promoted osteoblast ***,BA protected lipopolysaccharide-and ovariectomy-induced bone loss in mice,suggesting therapeutic potential against inflammation-induced bone diseases and postmenopausal osteoporosis.

Human interaction becomes an important issue in the field of mobile robotics. To achieve humanfriendly naviga tion, the robot needs to recognize human on cluttered backgrounds, and this can be fulfilled by the detection of human legs. The detection of human legs is advantageous because it enables detecting environmental obstacles at such heights. In this pa per, we compared the performance of an algorithm using a single laser range finder（LRF） proposed in Ref. L 1 ] with that of wellknown feature extraction approaches bounding box and circle fitting proposed in Ref. [ 2 ] by using the same laser scanned image.

High-speed and high-resolution imaging of surface profiles is critical for the investigation of various structures and mechanical dynamics of micro-and nano-scale *** particular,recent emergence of various nonlinear,transient and complex mechanical dynamics,such as anharmonic vibrations in mechanical resonators,has necessitated real-time surface deformation imaging with higher axial and lateral resolutions,speed,and dynamic ***,real-time capturing of fast and complex mechanical dynamics has been challenging,and direct time-domain imaging of displacements and mechanical motions has been a missing element in studying full-field structural and dynamic ***,by exploiting the electro-optic sampling with a frequency comb,we demonstrate a line-scan time-of-flight(TOF)camera that can simultaneously measure the TOF changes of more than 1000 spatial coordinates with hundreds megapixels/s pixel-rate and sub-nanometre axial resolution over several millimetres *** unique combination of performances enables fast and precise imaging of both complex structures and dynamics in three-dimensional devices and mechanical resonators.

Polyalkenoate cement(PAC)is a promising material for regenerative hard tissue *** ionically rich glass component of PAC encourages bioactive interaction *** release of essential ***,PAC bioactivity is restricted owing to(i)structurally inherent cationic network formers and(ii)surface bacterial biofilm *** two factors cause a deficiency in ion release,further complicated by secondary infections and premature therapeutic ***,a multivalent zwitterionic network modifier(mZM)is presented for upregulation of ionic exchange and bioactivity *** introducing a non-zero charged mZM into PACs,an increase in the proportion of non-bridging oxygen *** network modification promotes ion channel formation,causing a multiple-fold increase in ion release and surface deposition of hydroxy-carbonate apatite(ca.74%).Experiments ex vivo and animal models also demonstrate the efficient remineralization ability of the ***,divalent cationic interaction results in bacterial biofilm reduction(ca.68%)while also influencing a shift in the biofilm species composition,which favors commensal ***,PAC modification with mZM offers a promising solution for upregulation of bioactivity,even aiding in customization by targeting site-specific regenerative therapy in future applications.

The global trend toward aging populations has resulted in an increase in the occurrence of Alzheimer's disease(AD)and associated socioeconomic *** metabolism of amyloid-β(Aβ)has been proposed as a significant pathomechanism in AD,supported by results of recent clinical trials using anti-Aβ***,the cognitive benefits of the current treatments are *** etiology of AD is multifactorial,encompassing Aβand tau accumulation,neuroinflammation,demyelination,vascular dysfunction,and comorbidities,which collectively lead to widespread neurodegeneration in the brain and cognitive ***,solely removing Aβfrom the brain may be insufficient to combat neurodegeneration and preserve *** attain effective treatment for AD,it is necessary to(1)conduct extensive research on various mechanisms that cause neurodegeneration,including advances in neuroimaging techniques for earlier detection and a more precise characterization of molecular events at scales ranging from cellular to the full system level;(2)identify neuroprotective intervention targets against different neurodegeneration mechanisms;and(3)discover novel and optimal combinations of neuroprotective intervention strategies to maintain cognitive function in AD *** Alzheimer's Disease Neuroprotection Research Initiative's objective is to facilitate coordinated,multidisciplinary efforts to develop systemic neuroprotective strategies to combat *** aim is to achieve mitigation of the full spectrum of pathological processes underlying AD,with the goal of halting or even reversing cognitive decline.
