OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects and safety of modified fasting therapy using fermented medicinal herbs and exercise on body weight, fat and muscle mass, and blood chemistry in obese ***: Twenty-six patients participated in a14-day fast, during which they ingested a supplement made from fermented medicinal herbs and carbohydrates(intake: 400-600 kcal/d). The schedule included 7 prefasting relief days and 14 days of stepwise reintroduction of food. The patients also took part in an exercise program that incorporated Qigong, weight training, and walking exercises. The efficacy of treatments was observed by assessing body fat mass and muscle mass, and alanine aminotransferase(ALT), aspartate aminotransferase(AST),cholesterol, and triglycerides in each study *** symptoms or side effects were ***: Body weight and body fat mass both decreased significantly by(5.16 ± 0.95) and(3.89 ±0.79) kg(both P < 0.05), while muscle mass decreased by an average of(0.26 ± 0.22) kg, without statistical significance. ALT levels were significantly decreased(P < 0.05), while AST levels decreased without statistical significance(P = 0.052). The levels of total cholesterol and triglycerides were also significantly decreased(both P < 0.05). There were few adverse events except for mild dizziness, which did not affect everyday ***: These results suggest that modified fasting therapy using fermented medicinal herbs and exercise could be effective and safe on obese patients.

Although sentiment analysis is pivotal to understanding user preferences,existing models face significant challenges in handling context-dependent sentiments,sarcasm,and nuanced *** study addresses these challenges by integrating ontology-based methods with deep learning models,thereby enhancing sentiment analysis accuracy in complex domains such as film reviews and restaurant *** framework comprises explicit topic recognition,followed by implicit topic identification to mitigate topic interference in subsequent sentiment *** the context of sentiment analysis,we develop an expanded sentiment lexicon based on domainspecific corpora by leveraging techniques such as word-frequency analysis and word ***,we introduce a sentiment recognition method based on both ontology-derived sentiment features and sentiment *** evaluate the performance of our system using a dataset of 10,500 restaurant reviews,focusing on sentiment classification *** incorporation of specialized lexicons and ontology structures enables the framework to discern subtle sentiment variations and context-specific expressions,thereby improving the overall sentiment-analysis *** results demonstrate that the integration of ontology-based methods and deep learning models significantly improves sentiment analysis accuracy.

Domain analysis in software product line （SPL） development provides a basis for core assets design and imple- mentation by a systematic and comprehensive commonality/variability analysis. In feature-oriented SPL methods, products of the domain analysis are domain feature models and corresponding feature decision models to facilitate application-oriented customization. As in requirement analysis for a single system, the domain analysis in the SPL development should con- sider both flmctional and nonfunctional domain requirements. However, the nonfunctional requirements （NFRs） are often neglected in the existing domain analysis methods. In this paper, we propose a context-based method of the NFR analysis for the SPL development. In the method, NFRs are materialized by connecting nonfunctional goals with real-world context, thus NFR elicitation and variability analysis can be performed by context analysis for the whole domain with the assistance of NFR templates and NFR graphs. After the variability analysis, our method integrates both functional and nonfunc- tional perspectives by incorporating the nonfunctional goals and operationalizations into an initial functional feature model. NFR-related constraints are also elicited and integrated. Finally, a decision model with both functional and nonfunctional perspectives is constructed to facilitate application-oriented feature model customization. A computer-aided grading system （CAGS） product line is employed to demonstrate the method throughout the paper.

We present innovative nonlinear acoustics for characterizing fatigue-induced micro-damage of austenitic stainless steel 316 subjected to high-cycle *** fatigue-driven deformations are accumulated at several positions near the middle of hourglass-shaped specimens.A bell-shaped curve of acoustic nonlinearity as a function of position is observed,and the variation in acoustic nonlinearity is attributed to the evolution of a lattice defect (dislocation) and stress-induced martensite based on transmission electron microscopy (TEM) *** oblique incidence technique using a longitudinal waveform is a potentially viable method for characterizing the high-cycle fatigue deformation of austenitic stainless steel 316 alloys.

The acoustic nonlinearity of surface waves is studied to evaluate plastic deformation in aluminum alloys.A narrow-band surface wave is successfully generated by a pulsed Nd-YAG laser system consisting of a beam expander and a slit *** degrees of tensile deformation are induced by interrupting the tensile tests so as to obtain aluminum specimens with different degrees of plastic *** normalized acoustic nonlinearity increases as a function of tensile *** experimental results show that the acoustic nonlinearity of a laser-generated surface wave has a good correlation with the level of tensile deformation and has a potential to evaluate microdamage induced by dislocation microplasticity.

Herein,the purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of kaempferol on bioavailability and pharmacokinetics of nifedipine and its metabolite dehydronifedipine in *** experimental design is based on with or without kaempferol in the oral and intravenous administration of nifedipine in ***,the pharmacokinetic parameters including nifedipine and dehydronifedipine were evaluated in *** in vitro studies of kaempferol were investigated on P-glycoprotein(P-gp)and cytochrome P450(CYP)3A4 *** reduced a 50%inhibitory concentration(IC50)of 8.6μmol·L-1 on CYP3A4 enzyme ***,kaempferol clearly improved the cell internalization of rhodamine-123 in MCF-7/ADR cells overexpressing *** on increased concentrations of kaempferol,the areas under the plasma concentration–time curve(AUC0-∞)and the peak concentration(Cmax)of nifedipine were increased after oral and intravenous ***,the absolute bioavailability(AB)and relative bioavailability(RB)of nifedipine in the presence of kaempferol was significantly higher than those of the control group after oral and intravenous *** of bioavailability of nifedipine by kaempferol may be mainly because of the inhibition of the P-gp-mediated efflux transporter in the small intestine and CYP3A4-mediated metabolism in the small intestine or liver,or both.
